It was close to where I wanted to go. Walking distance to the midway, tour boats etc. Staff were very nice.

The pillows were too thin we ended up with stiff necks. There was no tub and when I turned on the shower it was soo loud.

I was a little skeptical about staying there because of some of the reviews as well as being so close to the airport, but omg, I was so wrong. The place was really nice, comfortable, really clean. We had an amazing stay. Once we were in bed, we couldn't even hear the planes. Everything was so close. We checked in late, and the staff was amazing and accommodated us with no issues. We were tired and hungry and walked a few blocks to get something to eat as well as some drinks. There is a gas station as well rite next door, so if we needed something we didn't have to drive, we parked our car and never moved it until we checked out. Everything was walking distance. It's a really nice place to stay. We even had time for a swim. No disappointments at all. We will definitely stay there again. 

My family and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and the midway. Overall, a good value for the price. My kids loved the airplanes flying over and surprisingly the noise from the airplanes was not that disturbing. Would stay again.

The only thing that I was a little disappointed with was that the floors in our room were not properly swept or mopped throughout the room and bathroom. Also, the shower door kept opening while showering and we had to use our bottle of body wash to keep the door closed.

Well the first day we arrived I liked the front desk lady and the housekeeper who helped me. The service was very exceptional and things were great. We didn't mind the overhead airplanes at all. Thank you ladies. I didn't make a deposit because I love motel6 and have come often to the different locations. Thanks Motel 6!

I think the creamer for the coffee. 😆 The packets I hate opening one after another. Oh yeah, the glass door came off when we were trying to get into the shower. Creepy but it was fixed and has to be a gentle slide.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Motel 6 by the San Diego airport. I was a little nervous to book it after seeing they only had a 2 star rating. But the property very much exceeds a 2 star rating in my mind. The rooms were nice clean the staff was very helpful and friendly and the location is perfect if you’re heading to the airport. I would absolutely stay here again great bang for your buck. Only thing is the airplane noise is a bit loud at night but I imagine this is the case for every property close to the airport. With earplugs in I had a great sleep.

Second time here and still an overall great stay. Convenient, clean and good location. The staff was ok.

I just wasn’t prepare to be charged for the 60USD damage deposit before my stay and then to wait for a refund way after my checkout. It was obviously written on my booking instructions but since it wasn’t like this the last time I went, I was just surprised at checkin. Of course, being charged 60USD and then have it back as a refund could be unfair when you left the room perfect and then have to wait for a confirmation that you are eligible for a refund of this deposit … ! It should be a print deposit instead of a refund deposit.

The motel was a great place to stay. The pool was nice, the staff were really helpful and the room was a good size for three people.

It wasn’t completely cleaned, hairs in the shower etc. We aren’t picky though but I know some people may have issues with this. We stayed for five nights and they didn’t come in the clean the room once or give clean towels which was disappointing as they said this would happen every three days. Overall it was a good stay.

I wasn't sure what to expect, considering the cost was much cheaper than anything else in the area, but figured whatever.. It's only for one night. Was very pleasantly surprised!! Very close to the airport, grounds and room were clean and looked to be recently updated, bed was comfy! Pool was clean and perfect temperature. It is in an airline path so a little noisy outside,but could barely hear planes inside our room. We'd definitely stay again!

This might seem weird, lol but there's no ledge or shelf thing in the shower to hold soap/shampoo bottles. My husband has mobility issues and is hard for him to bend to the floor. But for the price, I won't complain! Coffee machine was broken but there's a convenience store on the corner, literally 1 min walk.

Shower stall/bath was nice. Bed mattress is very comfortable and firm. Price affordable. Refrigerator in room. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Access to wi-fi and A/C.

Not aware of the plane and train noise was so loud, but it ceased at midnight so I was able to sleep. No microwave. The parking lot on the other side of the pool is hard to get out of . Suggest removing the small island at the entrance to that part of the lot to give more space to back out.

I like the cost per night especially since i stay at hotels for overnight business. I usually try to pay more for nicer hotels but sometimes they're run down.

The doors were not soundproof, so you could hear all the airplanes overhead. For me, it was soothing but was a bit loud. I did see one roach, but it was raining, and the front door does not seal all the way. Could've been a straggler. Plus im an Exterminator so i have a tolerance.
