Great location for Little Italy's food and drink lifestyle

It's under renovation so no pool, gym, or food. But they did offer partnership deals with local businesses to cover which were excellent.

This is hotel is a part of the Marriot Bonvoy brand. Looks like there is still some renovations going on. But overall the hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. Upon check in staff who assisted were very friendly and offered a dessert while waiting thru the check in process and we were also given 2 waterbottles. Check out staff was also very friendly. They had private parking within the hotel which was nice and felt safe. Room was clean and comfortable. We had the king room with city view and a balcony. Rooms have mini fridges to store left overs, waterbottles or drinks. Walking distance to little italy. I believe this hotel is dog friendly, there is a dog park on the corner next to it. We enjoyed watching all the happy dogs trot their way to their neighborhood dog park. We did a one night stay for a festival at the waterfront, which is only a few blocks away, a quick Uber ride. Will stay here again.

Location, staff overall

Bathroom door squeaked loudly . Also, staff need to get on same page when check in time is I get mixed messages. Reservation confirmation said midnight was latest. Had to call day if to tell them i was going to be late. When I did, they said call after 7:00 pm But I was in middle of check in and security and boarding at that time. Had to wait when I arrived in San Diego to call. Desk said oh no , I could check in anytime! Desk was open! A lot of needless stress!

* Location: The hotel was located near a lot of restaurants and parks * Check in: Was very smooth and staff was super friendly. * Room: Clean room. Super comfy bed. Really liked that there was plenty of space inside the room compared to other hotels. Lots of channels available * Bathroom: Was clean although the shower pressure could be improved but this is just minor. * Restaurant: The restaurant inside the hotel called The Florentine Kitchen had some very good full American Breakfast. * Wifi: Was okay but slow on weekends. Waiters were super friendly too. Overall enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back and rebook this hotel on my next visit to San Diego.

* Check in: Even though I have pre-booked and paid in full online they still required a $150 deposit incase there are any damages in the room. They did however, return it after checking out which I also appreciated. * Restaurant: The Florentine Kitchen had some decent dishes but I also did not like their cheeseburger. This could be improved.

Room was fine. Always fun to see the planes flying past the window. Sorry about the recent crash.

The shower was a pain! It never properly ran hot even though a technician came and checked it. Also the phone didn't work properly. It said there was a message but wouldn't deliver it. A techincian came but couldn't fix it. Breakfast was adequate but the bagels were exccelent.

The property was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff recommended several excellent restaurants within walking distance as parking is a problem in that area so it’s easier to park in the hotels garage parking and walk.

The tv did not work or was hard to operate, however when I called the staff helped right away and were willing to send maintenance to fix the problem.

the property was very clean. check in and check out was very smooth.

didn’t mention their facilities weren’t open due to construction. they said house keeping was on based on request and we kindly denied but they kept trying to go into the room at 9am when our checkout wasn’t till 11am. felt rushed to leave as they were waiting outside our room.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Big rooms, very comfortable

No too big of a deal but it would've been nice to have breakfast as a traveler...came for the TwitchCon and taking the time to go to other locations before the convention just results as a loss of time...maybe include breakfast during large events?..we all already pay more for the stay during these times, especially when the Padres do well.

The property was very aesthetically pleasing and was in a great location in walking distance to little Italy and all it has to offer.

I booked a king room and they had ran out of king rooms by our check in date and ended up giving us a 2 double-bed room. Not bad but also not what I booked and paid for. Was told I’d be able to swap in the morning and was still unable to. Very disappointed with that.
