The location is beautiful! Close to gaslamp, only a 2 minute $1.50 trolly ride over! So you don’t have to deal with all of the people unless you want to! We were able to ride to petco park for a concert in 4 minutes! It was awesome! I love the view from our room of the bay! Also I loved the balcony and the ability to go on it.

Our room was 1401 and it shares a wall with the elevator so there was a knocking noise when ir would move which was a bothersome at night. I believe this to be room specific and would stay away from the elevator next time.

The location is close to Little Italy, where there are many Italian-style restaurants. The grab-n-go breakfast is convenient. The bed is clean. Although there were accidents, such as water-pipe clogging (after one-night water shut-off because of municiple water pipe maintenance nearly) and breakdown of room heating for one night, that brough some inconvenience, the front desk always responded very quickly.

My room is facing a street, and the car noise during the night is quite distrubing. It is hihgly recommended to ask for room facing the pool.

Hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to Little Italy with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. The Gaslamp Quarter is about a 10/15 minute walk away and the Bayfront is less than 5 minutes. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a nice view of the bay. Staff were very friendly and the free coffee in the lobby was a welcome addition. There's also a small shop if you need to buy water etc. For the price and location, it's hard to look past this hotel. I'll stay again the next time I'm in San Diego.

A restaurant or sit down area for breakfast. I didn't avail of the grab and go breakfast so can't comment on their quality. Asking for housekeeping every morning - would have preferred if this was done without having to ask. Bathroom could do with a freshen up.

Needed a downtown location for work meeting, and this was a simple/convenient booking. Thankfully, they have onsite parking (parking garage directly next to actual hotel). Overall very clean (a few random hairs in the shower, but that was it).

I had a last minute booking, which may have affected pricing. I felt it was a little high plus you had to pay extra for parking. If there was a free breakfast, I did not see it/no obvious indicators of where it was, lol. This would have been a cherry on top had this been provided.

Room was spacious and comfortable and good location. Walking distance to San Diego waterfront and Little Italy so lots of restaurant choices. The grab and go breakfast was a bonus, had expected to only get coffee

Coffee machine in reception broke down on day 2 and wasn't fixed by the time we left on day 4. At least there was a coffee machine in the room $25 dollars,was deducted from my credit card on arrival on 18th May and as of 6th June this still hasn't been credited back

Breakfast was great- no fuss, the brown bag was a good idea. The provision of the Vending Machine for hot drinks was greatly appreciated. Thr check in and out was smooth and done within minutes and staff was friendly. Excellent location as we could move around easily. Little Italy was within walking distance where plenty of food choices.

Just wondering whether the hotel could consider provision of real cutlery as we had used quite a bit of disposables during our stay. When we requested for room cleaning on the 3rd day, though it was good that the bed was made and towels changed, noted that there was no other cleaning of the room done.

Location is great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I was travelling alone, and felt very safe here.

Great location. Close to Little Italy, cruise port and waterfront, including hop on hop off trolley depot. Easy walk downhill to cruise port with our luggage.

Arrived a bit early but hotel policy is to charge a fee if arriving before regular check-in time. Seems to be a more common occurrence but still a bit frustrating if rooms are ready and sitting empty. (ps front desk staff did give us a bit of leeway). We opted to check our luggage and go to lunch instead of paying fee.

Everything was as described, the hotel does have a parking garage in their property, they charge you $30 dlls per night along with your check-in payment if you state you have a car you’re leaving at the parking, they also charge $30 deposit per night which they refund at check-out. Walking distance to seaport village, it was only 4 blocks away from the hotel which you can easily walk to, also walking distance from little italy, there’s a Starbucks across the street, perfect location if you just wanna roam around downtown San Diego. Overall the experience was nice, staff was friendly, easy check-in, room was clean and comfortable!

We got a bit of noise at 7 am coming from a construction place right next door from the hotel, however we had been warned about this, so it wasn’t an inconvenience, it didn’t get too loud.

Hotel has “Grab and Go” breakfasts which can be warmed up in room microwaves. There is a coffee machine on the first floor. There is a Starbucks directly across the street. Desk staff was friendly.

There are two elevators but one was broken for the first two days of our stay which is unacceptable. Also, the front door was locked in the evening when we arrived so we had to walk around through a parking garage to get inside and rouse an employee for check in.
