We had a good stay at the Mountain View Hotel. The staff was really friendly and did their best. The breakfast was tasty. Everything was clean. We always had enough water to shower. The hotel is on a hill with a nice view. We went by foot from the jetty. It took 30-40 minutes. It was sweaty, but we really liked it. If you do not like it, they organize you a taxi. We rent bikes for the days at the nearby MOMO‘s bike rental and liked to drive over the island.

Sometimes we had not enough toilet paper in the room - but it was not bad. We good some after questioning. The hotel is a bit dated compared to the photos - but everything clean and fine.

Our stay at Mountain View Hotel was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable, close to the jetty, shops, bike rentals and the most beautiful beaches, yet still quiet and peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day before exploring the island. The staff were outstanding, so warm, welcoming and always ready to help us with recommendations, bookings and local tips. Their kindness made our experience unforgettable and we felt truly taken care of. This hotel really exceeded our expectations, it felt like home on paradise island. Highly recommended to anyone visiting La Digue! 🌺✨

There was really nothing we didn’t like. Everything met or even exceeded our expectations, the only downside was that our stay was too short! 🌴✨

Very spacious family room with one king bed and one single bed, good AC, breakfast is enough: eggs and coffee of your choice prepared for you, porridge, toasts, flakes, fruit and cake. Of course missing veggies and cheese and ham are very simple but if you expect 5 star breakfast go to 5 star resort. In general food options in Seychelles is specific. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bikes at 120 SCR per bike/day at Chloe’s 200 m down the road

Yes, it is at the peak of the hill so the last 200 m by foot or by bike is a bit of a struggle but otherwise it would be too simple and too boring :)

Excellent holiday

I will start first with the staff. These guys ( Hamisha, Natalie and Giovanni the Chef) are gorgeous. They made our holiday even more pleasant then we expected. If you are into testing local food, fresh and well cooked by Chef Giovanni then you can choose half board. It worths it. Then, the location. You are in the middle of the jungle. You can hear every morning the sounds of those little birds. It’s so nice. You can rent a bike and go around the island to see amazing beaches. P.S for us Anse Cocos was the best.

Staff was very friendly, we were so delighted to have so many nice people around us every day. Many thanks to Hamisha, Fiona and Giovanni (the chef) for making our stay in La Digue even more pleasant than we expected. Giovanni made very delicious dinners for us with special "Seychelles' touch" which we enjoyed very much and this was beyond our expectation. Rooms were very clean (each day), the view from the room to the mountain was very nice. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the island and it has some advantages because you can reach each side of the island easily with the bike, you would just need to go little bit uphill. Great hotel with attentive and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Small pool for relaxing. Half board was very good as the quality was very good and big portions. Transfer from ferry and bike rental worked well.

Location was great for us as could reach both sides of island and was quieter but not suitable for those who have mobility or fitness issues. Service charge applied to bill Breakfast could be varied a bit day by day

Best hotel on the island. The staff made me smile everyday, especially Flaby, what a guy! And Fiona was so caring. Rooms are huge and stunning views over the mountains, you are on the trees. Breakfast was made to order omelettes. Evening food was nice. Bike hire was from hotel down the hill. Can walk to l’union estate in 15 mins and town centre in about 30 mins. Pool was amazing like infinity pool They s tried to make best of the space.

Limited loungers by the pool (but they have made the best with what limited space they have) Breakfast was made to order but the it’s you help yourself to we’re always limited, but I’m sure would be topped up if requested do no problem. No real negatives as it was amazing.

The accommodation we stayed in is far from the hustle and bustle of the center. But it is relatively close to the most beautiful beaches. Great service, friendly staff, great food. Thank you to everyone who tries to make the guests happy. Bogdan and Lili 🌞🙋‍♂️🌞

Hotel must be somehow new in a good location near the best beaches. Quiet surroundings and must be the accomodation with best view on the island - although not overlooking the sea. Fruitbats and birdlife including the endemic paradise flycatcher visible from balcony.

Encountered a problem with safety deposit…. Slopes up and down a bit steep for a 60-year old with a new pacemaker…😉

The employees were so friendly, mindful and thoughtful. The cleanliness of the entire hotel and room were spotless. Bed was very large and very comfortable. The food was excellent and always different. The room was very spacious. The view was spectacular. The shower room was spacious, clean and dry. This hotel had everything we needed for a peaceful and calm stay at one of the most beautiful islands on Earth. Thank you so much.
