Very clean and lovely little cottage surrounded by a lush tropical garden which provides privacy for the guests. Nice terrace for dining and relaxing, too. Excellent staff - all information was provided efficiently and on time, staff was very kind and helpful (shoutout to Stephan!). Location is excellent, easy to discover the island with a bike (we rented them from the property). Absolutely loved it and would definitely come back here for the peace, quiet and zen atmosphere...and stay longer than this time!

As some other guests have already indicated, shower gel would be nice, as well as cooking oil in the kitchen - but these are minor things.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa which is well located and really well equipped on the beautiful island of La Digue. Communication with the manager was really smooth and he went out of his way to arrange ferry port transfers and cycles for our stay (as that’s the best way to commute on this small island). He also accommodated to keep our luggage as our ferry was at a later time, and provided shower to wash and change even after we had vacated the room! He helped us with navigation tips when we reached which really helped us cover a lot of things in our short stay. Would totally recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit the island. We also had an unfortunate incident when our bike broke down. But we communicated with the host and our bike was replaced smoothly. Thank you so much for that!! The breakfast was also extremely delicious and freshly made. Extremely helpful host and special mention to the manager who really made our trip easy and comfortable.

The shower area was pretty small and the bathroom had no amenities.

We loved staying at Cocotier. We chose the bungalow with patio and loved sitting in the patio looking at the beautiful garden (wearing mosquito repellent). The bed was big and comfortable, the room and bathroom very spacious. Stephan, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. He welcomed us with cold wet towels and coconut water on the first day and explained what to see and where to eat in La Digue. Breakfast is great and is served on the beautiful patio. We felt at home and were sad to go. If we ever return to La Digue we will definitely stay at Cocotier!

We loved everything. The location is perfectly fine if you rent bikes (which is a lovely way to visit the island), otherwise a 20min walk from the main area. With bikes it's perfect!

Very nice place. The best thing of the Villa was its location. It is really close to the Southern part where the best beaches are. So when choosing have this in mind. Host was helpful especially before coming. They support us with instructions how to get visas and to prepare things for our coming. The place is located among a lot of trees so you don't feel the heat so much.

There was construction work in the next door property, and 2 of the mornings I was waked up by a hammer. But I believe this is not all the time.

Stephen the manager is amazing, we can't praise him enough for how much he helped us during our stay! On our arrival, he gave us a map and added extra points to it, explaining the best places on the island. We also rented bikes (the main form of transport on the island) from the property, which was an easy, smooth process. Stephen was always happy to answer our questions, greeted us with a smile day and night, and even told us where we could watch the Euro's final in the town, he was always available to message on WhatsApp which always put us at ease. The bungalow itself was very well equipped, with great AC, which was needed for the humid climate. Location wise we were only a 5 minute bike ride from the main town, with easy access to all parts of the island. We can't fault this stay at all and would highly recommend to anyone staying on La Dique.

We loved everything about our stay—from Isabel’s helpful messages before we arrived, full of great tips and information, to the natural beauty of the place, how clean everything was, and how kind the staff were. Stephan was especially amazing, always going the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed. He also helped us book a couple of tours, which turned out great. It’s a place that really stayed with us, and we hope we’ll have the chance to come back one day.

Everything was great

We had an excellent time at Cocotier Du Rocher. The villa was beautiful, well-equipped, and conveniently located. The manager Stephan incredibly helpful. He helped us to print out out ferry tickets, as well as did our laundry for us twice, returning it early the next morning. He also responded to our WhatsApp messages within two minutes, and was always friendly and informative.

Two minor points: -- one evening there was no hot water in the shower (don't know if it was a fluke or happens regularly) -- there was no AC in the kitchen

The property is excellent. It was my second time and you can’t beat their garden. It is truly a paradise in paradise. Staff is wonderful too. Stefan and Isabel are very available and ready to help with any request. A special shout out to the outdoor showers! Absolutely amazing to shower is an Eden garden.

The only disadvantage of the property is that it is quite far from the beaches but if you ride a bike, it’s perfectly fine.

The place contains several villas separated by very nice garden. You can feel like living in the middle of the jungle and you have full privacy. Only one thing that you hear is sounds of the jungle and from time to time very vocal cat :) Villas are bit old school furnished, but there is everything you need. There is fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning and terrace. Rooms are clean and stuff is very friendly - they let us leave our luggage and take a shower when we came back from the beach just before our ferry. It takes approx. 15-20 minutes to get to the „city centre”, but you can always rent a bike to make it faster. Last, but not least - manager Stephane is very nice guy that explains us everything about the island and helped us a lot in organising our trips. I would definately recommend!

The beautiful garden, the authentic villa, the nice terrace. The host Isabelle, and the manager Stephan who were very kind to provide information about the La Digue island and make our stay very easy by arranging breakfasts, taxi transfer and bicycles. We like also how we were received, with the 4 cocos on the terrace 😊

We liked the breakfasts, especially the fresh juice and fruits from the garden but unfortunately they were not included in the price and we think it is pretty expensive for what it is.
