Rising Sun Guesthouse is about 15mins walk from the ferry terminal and very close to the very famous anse source d'argent, we could rent cycles from the guest house at 100 SCR per day. The room was clean and good, we opted only for breakfast and it was good. The place is as per the pictures. There are 2 supermarkets very close and 2 good food take-away joints as well, this makes your stay and overall experience very convenient.

It can be managed a tad bit more professionally. We felt the price are bit high as compared to the other guest houses that offer similar offerings.

We stayed at the same place 6 years ago, and we were so happy at that time that we didn't have to look for anything else this time. The hosts (family) are incredibly kind and helpful, and they fulfilled all our various wishes without any hesitation (thanks a lot!). The breakfast is very good, local fruits inclusive, but the real fish food-nirvana is coming with the dinner and like last time we could not resist. We highly recommend it for fish dish lovers! Renting a bike on La Digue is very common and there is no need to look around because you get the best rental price here. Our two stays until now at this place were unforgettable moments for us.

First of all - staff! Everybody is extremely welcoming and do every effort to make sure you enjoy your stay. Location is good, not to far from the center and the roads is lit (which is not always the case for La Digue). Rooms are extremely clean and have everything you need for a short stay. The garden is nice and there is a little porch you can sit in. We rented bikes in a reasonable price. When we had a flat tire, the bikes were replaced before we could blink and they even "complained" that we carried the bikes back instead of calling them :-) Breakfast was tasty and has different ingredients every day. We also attended dinner on one of the evenings which was at a reasonable price and very tasty.

Not enough hot water in the shower. Could be room specific , we didn't mindso we didn't bother to complain..

Location was perfect, 20 minutes walking from ferry, 2 very good takeaway 2 minutes from structure. Nice balcony in front of the room, little garden with chairs and flowers. They hire bikes for SCR 10 per day. Good breakfast, possibility to have dinner. Staff very nice and helpful, it is a family run business.

The only thing I did not like was there wasn't any hot water in the morning, but it was not really a problem being outside temperature very pleasant.

Good communication, attentive hosts, bike rentals on site. You can reach any beach by foot or bike. From ferry you can reach the accomodation by walking 15-20 minutes, road is paved. 2 supermarkets near the house and some takeaway are available. Breakfast was tasty and homemade.

Amazing accommodation with a very kind and family-run staff, located in a strategic spot in the center of the island. The town center is just a few minutes away. A great advantage is the possibility to rent bikes directly at the accommodation for only 100 SCR. We had both breakfast and dinner. The dinner was perfect, served in Creole style, and we definitely recommend it.

We were fully satisfied with our stay.

The guest house is well located in the middle of the island, the room was not very modern but was big, very clean and the bed was comfortable. They clean the room, changed our towels and sheet beds almost every day. The food was excellent, better food we eat on the island during our stay. Every morning we received an very healthy breakfast with fresh local fruits, fresh juice, pancakes, bred, butter, gem and eggs(omelette, scrambled, boiled) coffee, tea, milk.. At the dinner we get different traditional creole kitchen food, mostly with fish. They exceed our expectations with the food. Even in the most expensive traditional restaurants from the island we did not eat so well. The hosts were very nice, they took good care of us to have a great time. They rent us bikes(in the best price from the island) they give us the umbrella when we needed, make for us early breakfast when we left earlier in a trip, recommended us the best options for trips, lunch, taxi, all what we needed... We highly recommend the location.

Everything was perfect!

Welcome drink. Quick check in. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The best we had in Seychelles. Simple but clean accommodation. Clean bathroom. Daily cleaning. Each room has a terrace and the possibility of sitting in the garden. Dryer available for each room. Bicycle rental with lock for 100 rupees per day. In case of a problem, just call and your bike will be replaced wherever you are. It happened to us, and the gentleman arrived with a new bike within ten minutes. The possibility of renting towels for the beach, which we were happy to use. A great starting point for exploring all parts of the island. Close to 4 take aways, a large supermarket. The possibility of organizing trips, but we didn't use them.

Sometimes ants, like elsewhere in the Seychelles. Sometimes there was no hot water. Dinners were too expensive for us, so we ate in take aways.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rising Sun a lot! The guesthouse was well maintained, cleaned and very green (lots of flowers). Our hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious and excellent. Dinners were local creole cuisine, and resulted in fish dishes, which we absolutely loved. We were so happy that have opted in for the dinner. Definitely recommend it! Our room was facing the road, however due to the low traffic (and lack of cars),it was very peaceful and thanks to the garden also very beautiful. The room was clean and spacious, with both AC and fan to ensure comfort sleep. We could rent bikes on the premises, which again made our stay even easier. The location of the guesthouse is great. A perfect spot to explore both south and north of the island. The jetty is 15mins walk away, and there 2 supermarkets nearby with fresh food, snacks,drinks,alcohol, and cupboard/shelf food options. One of the best island's take-away is just next door, which made it convenient for when lunch was needed.

We enjoyed the stay, room was clean and spacious. The guesthouse is very close to anse sourse d argent beach, also near a few good take aways. Their breakfast was delicious, dinner too with local creole dishes. Property run by a great family, very polite and helpful. We forgot our toddler's teddy and we realized when we were back in our country, they were kind enough to keep it, send it to us and attend to all the extra minor issues we encountered with dhl. Cannot thank them enough
