I loved Makayla at the front desk. I guess she could tell I was having a bad day (and I thought I had my happy face on, lol). But had just had an issue with Booking.com completely messing me up at where I "thought" i was suppose to stay this weekend, and they actually booked me here. It was 2 miles away from where I needed to be all weekend and she made me feel so much better. She smiled, joked and got us a room right away. Explained everything going in and even that their breakfast was coffee, juices and muffins. Thank you to Makayla and I hope she is told how she completely changed my bad day to good 👍

Just the fact that I was further away from where I needed to be, but it isn't the hotels fault. Booking.com screwed this up. There is a place next door to dine in and a really nice place, The Chop House I believe. Or if you want fast food, DQ is on the other side and a Shell station across the street for snacks and great take out pizza.

Bed was comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. A little dated but very clean. Friendly, welcoming staff. The elevator was not working but they were able to give me a room on the first floor and the clerk offered to get me some ice which was on the 2nd floor. Location was in the middle of the main strip and very walkable.

Breakfast was only some prepackaged muffins. Maybe because it was a Monday morning and after the main season, but that was a little disappointing. I had a good breakfast at Mabel's Kitchen instead

Price for my stay considering it was a holiday weekend. Location was good for my needs. It was clean which is number one priority for me.

TV reception was pretty poor. It appears they have updated carpeting and bedding but need to follow through and finish the remodel. Bathrooms could use a little modernizing and every door to every room was beat up and bent. This next one is more of a personal thing. I do not like anything blowing on me whether it's hot or cold. The AC blows directly on to both beds. I had to try and build sort of a blockade.

Was able to check in early and paid less than what booking.com said! The staff were extremely helpful, kind, and beyond informative! The rooms were pretty clean but we did find a couple of stray hairs, but it wasn’t enough to bother us. The beds were super bouncy and super soft! The rooms were really spacious and was a little outdated (tv was pretty small and room looked like it was from the 80/90s). We would definitely stay there again!

The location is perfect and cozy. The staff was always extremely helpful and nice. It wasn't only for myself but while waiting at the elevator I would overhear encounters and they were always so pleasant. It was only for one night but it was just perfect and would have loved to stayed longer.

The room was big enough for the three of us. The location is perfect to go up to HWY 441 to TN, or the Blue Ridge Parkway, several trails are close to the hotel, the casino and the visitors center.

The so called 'breakfast', please don't even put it. Options were: muffins, coffee, tea, orange juice or apple juice. There is no dining room, so you have to take whatever to your room. Just take it away and it will be better.

Unfortunately there was absolutely nothing good about the breakfast. Booking advertisement was misleading

There needs to be a seating area to eat breakfast in. The only options for breakfast are muffins to eat and coffee and juice to drink and you have to take it to your room to eat it.

Loved the balcony. Extremely comfortable beds. All the amenities in the room like, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer. Room was really clean, didn't feel like I had to wear my shoes while inside.

Wasn't crazy about being on the first floor, but I didn't specify that when I booked the room. I will next time. Nothing wrong with it, it's just a personal preference. We (two) stayed for a week and had to go to front desk and ask for coffee every day. Would only give 2 packs. Batterie in TV remote were dead and there were none at the front desk. Clerk took some out of another remote. Wasn't sure they would work for long.

Staff was friendly! Went in super early for possible check in and there were no rooms available yet but Kitty told me she would call if one become available before 3; and she called an hour later! Room was clean, bed comfortable, overall great experience.

The executive room was extremely spacious and we love the balcony The vanity in the bathroom was large. We also love that the bed was so very comfortable. It was not too soft or too hard. It was just great.

The balcony could have used some TLC, dead ants and very dirty
