Conveniently opposite the station and handy for everywhere. Staff without exception were all welcoming and friendly. Room was comfortable with everything we needed in working order and nicely decorated. Excellent shower. Breakfast was great.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon to a busy pub - England France rugby match was on plus there was a large group of families in so no quiet corner to sit and chill. But it is a pub, so we expected busy and noise, and in our room upstairs it was really quiet. And on Sunday, all was calm.

Great location opposite the station. Stunning premium room with lovely decor, roll-top bath and huge comfy bed. Mini-bar well stocked with drinks and snacks for a nightcap. Very quiet up on the top floor. Good breakfast and lunch in bar. Very helpful reception staff.

A few defects in the room that needed to be flagged up - loose loo seat and leaky shower tray. Staff at breakfast not very on the ball - slow to take order and missing glasses and cutlery on buffet. Top floor is accessed by many stairs and would not suit anyone with mobility issues.

The hotel staff were welcoming on my arrival and clearly showed me how to access the room and enter the building using an access card system. The room and bathroom were both clean. The bathroom products were very nice and the shower was hot. I felt the room was reasonably priced and I had a comfortable night's sleep.

I had asked in writing during my booking for the provision of soya milk, as I am allergic to dairy and oat milk. The hotel staff had not responded to this to let me know that soya milk would be unavailable during my stay. When I came down for breakfast, the hotel staff seemed unaware that this request had been made. One staff member told me I should have brought it with me myself if I had allergies, which I was admittedly taken aback by. However, shortly after this, the same staff member kindly arrived 5-10 minutes later with soya milk.

The room was amazing, I booked the superior/feature boutique room which featured a free standing bath which was lovely. The rest of the room was spacious while still cosy and well decorated, with some great amenities including the sky TV which was great for watching the sport. The continental breakfast was nice and service through the stay was great (very easy to order drinks from the bar which were delivered to the room very quickly) Located opposite Richmond station it was easy to get to and was close to pubs and restaurants. As a bit of an aviation lover, being able to the planes on the approach to Heathrow was a bonus!

The staff were excellent, polite and friendly. Really tried to make our stay enjoyable. The location was good as we visited Kew Gardens, which was within easy reach. We also had a lovely evening meal on the premises.

Whilst essential, the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy. Also unfortunately the external condensing units were on a flat roof directly outside our room window and they were also noisy in the night. Also the building could do with a refurbishment as the decor is looking tired.

we were upgraded to room 11 and what a room! stunning! roll top bath, huge shower, lovely aspect, great decor, very tempting minibar! Breakfast was good. Staff exceptionally helpful!

Bed was very firm - not to our taste but appreciate that's a personal opinion. Veggie breakfast - suggestion: lose the 'sausage' they are like cardboard! Best veggie breakfasts are those which don't include meat substitutes - much prefer more veg (avocado/beets etc)

The bedroom and en-suite were to a high standard. The room was very clean. Choice of tea/ coffee were good and fresh milk was placed in the fridge every day. The fridge was stocked with an array of soft and alcoholic beverages which we used once. It was there on an honesty basis which we appreciated , not many things are based on trust these days.There was a lot of attention to detail and real thought put into what guests would like.

Nothing at all. It is part of a pub but the staff were rigid re the hours for serving so any background sound from people socialising stopped quickly when they ceased serving.

Beautiful room, lovely staff, great mini bar, excellent water pressure, nice big towels, comfy beds, very convenient location across the road from train/underground station and bus stops and plenty of shops, restaurants etc.

Sooooooo noisy. We didn't get much sleep thanks to the traffic and airplanes. Our room was facing the street, over the terrace so a bit of cigarette smoke was wafting in even with the windows closed. The double glazing isn't super effective against the busy area. Pack ear plugs.

The room was clean and quiet. The shower was very nice.

Took us a while to figure out the lights and air conditioner and no one would answer the phone when we called for help (multiple times). We finally figured it out - it's very different from the US. In general, the staff for the hotel was hard to locate. No one was ever in the hotel office, they didn't respond to messaging on the bookings app and they never answered the phone.

Beautiful, stylish and comfortable twin room in the heart of Richmond, a great find. A stones throw away from the tube station and within easy walking distance of the local amenities and attractions. Both girls we dealt with on reception were very welcoming and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet and spacious the room was. The pub was lively when we arrived and had a great atmosphere but couldn’t be heard from our room on the first floor. The beds were extremely comfortable, we both had a wonderful sleep and there were some lovely toiletries provided in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay for longer.

If we were to be extremely picky, we were unable to get any heat from the towel rail in the bathroom, so this room was a little on the chilly side, but this was probably a fault on our end.
