Absolutely perfect location one of the best and nicest beaches and it is hard to reach for other than the hotel guests. We stayed in the captain's suite that is of course huuuuge and has 270 degrees panorama through three balconies. Situated on the top of the main building but still very private (no neighbours). Excellent. The room itself is a bit dated but the charm compensates it - and not only the charm of the room but the kindness of the service staff as well. They would go the extra mile for their guests - we normally do not need it but this time we had some issues and they have helped us so much that normally does not happen (on the continental Europe). Food in general was good, maybe a bit more variety for breakfast would elevate the niveau. But nothing to complain about and in fact the thematic dinner with got as part of our half board was excellent and they even did care about the allergenes. Rental bikes were in fact good and cheap, we got through the whole island with them.

We got married in the Seycheles on Mahe island and continued our honeymoon at the Patatran hotel. The honeymoon suite has amazing views and the beach near the hotel is absolutely stunning. Breakfast and dinner is also nice: you can always find something to your taste. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the staff is very helpful. We hope to return back for our anniversary.

The safe deposit box isn’t in the room but is located at the reception.

The most perfect location, exceptional beach, stunning views of the sea, delicious buffet breakfast and dinner, lots of variety to choose from. The staff is so welcoming, nice and enthusiastic about their work. It's great that you can just rent bikes right on the property. Our stay at Patatran was the perfect end to our vacation, we really enjoyed it.

The bathrooms could use some renovations and I strongly suggest to put some thick blankets in the rooms because with the AC on the light sheet on the bed is not enough to keep warm, but if you turn the AC off then it's too hot.

Accommodations: Our room (Honeymoon Suite) was a luxurious haven—spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with every comfort you could wish for. The private balcony with a view of the ocean was a highlight, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, a sunset drink or stargazing at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and decorated with fresh flowers. The view from the window was stunning. Service: The service at the resort was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make my stay special. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made sure that my wife's birthday celebration was truly memorable. Amenities: The resort has limited amenities. The pool is small with great views of the ocean. They don’t have an in-house Spa but a Spa session nearby can be arranged on request. You can access the beach from the property. The resort charges deposit to use beach towels. The best way to explore the island is by bike. You can rent one from the resort. Dining: The resort has only one restaurant for dining with limited options. We were on a half board package and had to select from a set menu. The quality of food was good. The resort arranged a special candle light dinner for my wife's birthday near the ocean, which was a delightful surprise. Overall Experience: Celebrating my wife's birthday at Patatran Village Hotel was everything I hoped for and more. It provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable celebration. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to enjoy a special occasion or just a relaxing. Highlight of the stay was spotting the Milky way from our room. It was Magically!

Considering the poor rating on booking (7.7), the hotel left a very good impression. The room is clean, spacious. You could see the ocean while lying in bed. I liked breakfast and dinner, large portions, tasty food. Helpful staff, kindly greeted at the reception, good service in the restaurant as well. Very cheerful and helpful waiter at breakfast, Rivo. But most importantly, amazing location and view. I rate the stay 10 considering that it is 3 stars and really very unfairly underestimated.

View from the room is pure paradise! We loved our staying at Patatran Village. We had a half board, which included breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended for renting a bicycles from the hotel to explore beautiful La Digue island! Bicycle rent is 150scr for day per person. Food at the restaurant was great and the waiters were extremely friendly and smiled a lot, thank you!

There were no safety boxes in the room, although you could leave your belongings to reception’s safety box for free.

Our room had one million dollars ocean view. It's a great pleasure to sit on balcony and admire the ocean view. The room and balcony are huge. Buffet style dinner with creolian dancing and singing performance was unpedictedly nice. A beach near the hotel is perfect place for snorkeling and free diving. It looks like water transparency is about 40-50 meters.

We were unpleasantly surprised with absence of welcome bottle of water at the room. During our visit it was windy and big waves in the ocean, the sound from surf was noisy in the room even with closed balcony doors. So, we have used earplugs to sleep well. Two times i was charged for Environmental fee and spent a time explaining receptionist mistake. Finaly, they return me back one payment :)

sleeping by the sea is priceless. Facilities are a bit old style but well maintained. the hotel is located in front of the best beach in la digue. Food was okay, nothing exceptional.

check-in was a bit long, we were expecting our room to be ready when we arrived instead we had to wait. There were no other options for milk than cow milk at breakfast.

the room was located on a higher level, it can be reached by walking along an alley that goes up gradually. Personally, I liked the location of the room, even if a consistent effort was required to reach it. The room was clean and very spacious. The staff was always very kind. The food was good. I would have liked to have buffet in every evening.

I didn't like that I didn't have enough light in the bathroom to be able to arrange myself/do my makeup

The hotel is right next to one of the nicest beaches we have seen in our life. The view from the room was great. Food at the restaurant was also good and the staff was super friendly and helpful

The hotel needs some renovations. It was not always clean and you could see some mold in the bathroom. Bicycles which we borrow were not in the best condition. The room that we got was not the one we ordered but after one night they changed it for us 👍
