Everything! The onsen at level 2 was very good and clean… the staff were also very friendly. We opted for the room with the washining machine. It was very efficient and the clothes came out clean and great! The location was also very near to the bus station and train station. Overall it is very good

The WiFi that came with the room was terrible. It was not working for the remaining days of stay here.

It was a great stay. The hotel was located about 3 minutes walk from the station and easy to find. Check-in was efficient and smooth. The staff were polite and friendly. I liked the self-service amenity bar the hotel had in reception (the coffee bags in particular were great!). Room was a good size (above average for Japan) and was really comfortable. Wi-Fi was fast and worked well. There were laundry facilities available in the hotel which worked well too. Breakfast was more focused on Japanese foods and there were only a small number of Western choices available but I enjoyed it and it had some local specialities on the menu as well. There were lots of places to get food or snacks nearby, especially around the station. All in all, it was a great stay in a beautiful city.

Would have been nice to have a desk/office chair for working on laptop etc. but this is not a big issue!

It's a great hotel located an easy walk from the station. The staff were very welcoming and the buffet breakfast was lovely. The 'Concept' room was beautiful, colourful and very comfortable - it had everything and was extremely well thought out. The onsen was very nice too and had a good security system for the ladies side.

The standard room (as opposed to the concept rooms) is very small albeit with a very large bed. Parking at the hotel uses a tower stacking system which is a little inconvenient, although there are several other parking facilities nearby.

Hotel is based literally next to Shinkansen/JR station so you cannot pick anything more convenient; room was very clean, amenities available; staff very helpful regardless of matter asked (English speaking as well); very tasty breakfast with various food to try; the onsen and massage chair next to it are a cherry on top - I came to Kanazawa without any expectations, the hotel left me with only positive memories and will most likely come back

The same thing I point out in all hotels with onsens - despite the fact I totally respect and understand the tattoo ban in onsens, majority of other guests there were foreigners so they would not even pay any attention to it

We stayed in a twin room and although it was rather small, the set up was exceptional with the use of space well thought out. The hotel was clean in all areas and the breakfast was wonderful. I liked the firm pillow and mattress . The separate rooms for the toilet and the #shower was good and bad, great when two people have different needs and bad when you use the potty and need to walk over to the other room to wash your hands. Speaking of potty, it was perfect that it flushed by itself. I loved the ability to choose items in the lobby for daily use. It will likely eliminate waste as it allows one to simply pick up what will be used.

The one small issue was no counter space around the bathroom wash basin. Five inches on each side is just not adequate for a woman’s arsenal of personal supplies.

Very well located - a short walk from the train station, and only 15 - 20 minutes into the central part of Kanazawa. The loop buses also run from the station. The hotel itself is pleasant, clean and smart and has well air-conditioned rooms, with good facilities: laundry and vending machines on several floors. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom complete. The hotel has a car park just behind the hotel itself and is very reasonably priced (at the time of writing, around 1400 jpy per night). Breakfast is a typical Japanese hotel breakfast catering to both western and oriental styles.

I was unlucky to get a room with a frosted window which couldn't be opened, so no view.

We loved staying at the Daiwa Roynet in Kanazawa. It is walking distance to the train station and lots of great restaurants and shopping. The interior decor is very modern Japanese which is lovely to still feel the local atmosphere while in the hotel. The Onsen is great, really well appointed, with toiletries on offer at the reception area. There are washer/dryers on a few floors which is also great when away for some time. The room was spacious by Japanese standards. We would stay here again.

Excellent location for the train station. Varied breakfast very well organised by the Japanese hostesses and kitchen staff, food primarily Japanese but with good western options. Nice Japanese style bath on the second floor. And overall the hotel is very clean. Coffee, tea and room amenities offered in abundance for refills in the reception area.

The double room with extra bed that we used for three people was very tight. The location is slightly far from the main touristic sites of Kanazawa.

Near train and bus station. Staff were really nice. Can also store luggage before check in time. There are amenities including hair brushes, face moisturiser and more that you can take as much as you need in the lobby. The room is very clean and well equipped. And they have YouTube on the TV. Great and comfortable stay

Barely just enough space for walking after putting down our two luggage’s. So it might bit a bit cramped if you bring big luggage. But the other facilities made up for it.

The hotel decor is lovely, which made it stand out to me compared to other similarly priced places. The room was also reasonably big by Japanese standards, with good brand toiletries and comfortable design. Location was good and we managed to walk from the station even in heavy snow.

Just a small thing: the communal bath is not very large and felt crowded to me with 5 people. I checked the occupancy before I went but some groups of 2 and 3 entered after me so I left as soon as I could.
