The location is right at the A3 exit of Kanazawa station. Perfect. Walking distance to many tourist spots too. The hotel room size was also generous. The breakfast was sumptuous and was good to last for our Shinkansen ride to Tokyo. I highly recommend this hotel.

It didn't have a spa but the only consolation was the tub in the room..

The hotel was very close to train and bus transport and plenty of dining options close by. We inadvertently booked a smoking room and when this was brought to our attention on arrival we just thought "so be it". Left our bags in storage prior to check-in and when we returned to check-in the receptionist at the desk had gracefully upgraded us to a non-smoking room that just happened to be a suite on the top floor. . . .a 45m2 room with magnificent views, a big comfy sofa with a monster TV and a wardrobe for storage, , , ,that was a lovely surprise and greatly appreciated.

We arrived early and the hotel kept our luggage for us until we came back in the evening for check-in. Very spacious room with plenty of space to open our luggage. Very nicely decorated with the dark blue and beige wallpaper. Very spacious bathroom as well. We had a nice view of Kanazawa Station and the Forus shopping mall. Even though the hotel is located next to these places, it was surprisingly quiet.

No complaints, just small observations. The hotel yukata were full cotton, comfortable and had an interesting colour and pattern, but a bit long and we're tall. The shower head was a bit strong but the water flow and temperature were steady. We put the Do not Disturb sign because we didn't need cleaning or new towels but we were still given new towels, despite staying there for only 2 nights, which is a bit wasteful for the environment.

I moved across the parking lot from a poor 4 start hotel, and was pleased that this hotel met the level I expect in a 4 star clean room, even a robe! newer pod coffee maker.............should have more than 2 creamers

The hotel's location is unbeatable and conveniently located just minutes away from Kanazawa station, getting to the hotel was also very easy. We could also easily walk to several spots like Omicho market. The room itself was of a decent size, beds were comfortable and cleanliness was good.

The hotel's furnishing and bathroom are a little dated although you can tell they try their best to maintain it. Rooms come with heating but not air conditioning so it was incredibly stuffy for us. Opening the windows took a bit of effort but we desperately needed some fresh cool air and ventilation.

Free upgrade was very kind. Bathroom was huge and plenty of room between toilet and shower. Location is EXCELLENT as it is right next to the station. Beds were firm and comfy and we appreciated the water. Windows open which saved us as the heat was on. Breakfast buffet was very good and they accommodated us when we failed to make a reservation. Staying here is a good choice

Hotel Kanazawa met our needs

Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean tidy and plenty of space. Great views from 14th floor of town and mountains. Beds very very comfortable. Best sleep we had on our Japan trip. Location excellent. Easy access to buses to visit attractions. Plenty of options for food in station which was a 2 minute walk. Would recommend to anyone staying in Kanazawa.

Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choices. Staff were very nice. We were upgraded to a massive suite with great city views.

Used the top floor bar which had sensational city views. Thought the food menu did not do the location justice. It was a little underwhelming

Breakfast was not bad considering the price, but could be improved with more selection of fresh fruit and better quality bread. Also, the toaster station needs an extra toaster to prevent long queues.

A small room light in the corner of the room stayed on all night, and I struggled to find a switch that would turn it off. In the end I put a shopping bag over the light so that I could sleep.
