The breakfast in the early morning was nice and healthy, and the coffee gave you strength to start your day. The hotel is located in a quite enough place to escape the busy Seattle. The room on the top floors has a serene view toward the harbor, and I would recommend you not to lower the shades so that you can enjoy the sunrise coming from the window when you wake up. The Internet-of-Things feature of the room had an alarm clock that started with soft street sounds that gradually became louder, and the staff was really helpful to watch over my luggage before I departed the city late in the afternoon.

Seattle's CitizenM has a unique vibe and quirky rooms with a functional layout, making the most of every centimetre of space with smart, modern touches—think wall-mounted tablets to control lighting, automatic blinds, and even room ambience. While unconventional, the setup feels intuitive and adds a playful twist that makes staying there an experience in itself. Everything was spotless, adding to the overall comfort. If you intend to spend a lot of time in your room then perhaps it may not be an ideal choice, but as I did not it was perfect. The hotel is remarkably quiet, and the bed comfortable. CitizenM is a balanced choice for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Seattle, with a unique room experience that sets it apart. The friendly staff were warm and welcoming, going out of their way to suggest local restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. One standout recommendation was 84 Yesler--the imaginative cooking, built with exceptional quality ingredients, was served by attentive and well-informed staff. Some might describe it as pricey, but it is a unique dining experience that merges Pacific Northwest ingredients with diverse culinary influences (e.g., Japan). Each dish presents complex and layered flavours, transforming each bite into a rich experience. Highlights of my meal included the outstanding Mushroom Cestini, composed with tender braised lamb, wild mushrooms, and Manchego. The standout main was Sea Bass marinated in sake kasu, served with cassava root and ponzu sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked and if nothing else did this dish show-cased the chef's ability to balance delicate flavours with bold accents. Each course was a testament to the kitchen’s creativity and expertise and I certainly think this is one restaurant that would deserve a Michelin star if they ever visited Seattle.

Excellent vibe and makes you feel young again. The young things at the lobby the bar and just around make your day. The breakfast was so good. The technology in the room was so mesmerising and just lived the small space design that was done so thoughtfully. Great location. The waterfront and cruises just a few hundred metres away. The worde everywhere kept me smiling and smiling. Kudos to the Gen z's. We thought they were a lost lot LOL

Staff was friendly and very helpful at all times. Really accommodating. The place is really clean, with modern amenities offering maximum comfort. Also felt really safe there and close to everything. My favorite part was the pad to control the room, which also provided all kinds of activities and recommendations for things to do and places to visit in Seattle. I went to one of the recommended bookstores (loved it) and did one of the recommended experiences (Astra Lumina- it was wonderful!). The little doll on the bed is a great touch. I also appreciated the 24/7 water station (with still and sparkling) and the availability of little last-minute gifts we can buy in the lobby.

I loved the view! Room size made a cruise cabin look spacious :). The space was perfectly clean, modern, and comfortable. Public spaces (Living Rooms) in lobby are quirky and fun. Very good library, bar, TVs, games, and seating/lounging in the living room. The concept is really well done. Tiny upscale en suite bedrooms with great modern common areas in the lobby. Wonderful location! Staff 100% great. This concept is not the typical American suite hotel that offers a huge private space where you don’t leave your room. It is more like a European hostel model or cruise ship where the private rooms may be small but there are large public spaces to be social. The rooms are tiny, but en suite, private, electronic locks, super clean. It’s not your dad’s hostel:)
it would be nice to have an arranged parking relationship with a nearby garage.

Overall a great place to stay. We booked this so we could get a good view over the sea, and my it was fantastic (7th floor). The breakfast is probably worth the $18, it's all tasty fresh and well laid out with a decent choice. The rooms are funky, very well thought out and modern albeit small. oved the mood lighting , it's not my normal thing but it was such fun. Lobby has fab seating areas. Bed clean and very comfortable.
Personally I'd like the check in to be with a person not a screen, but it was okay. The staff were all pleasant and cheerful but they lacked local knowledge and on didnt always seem particularly interested to help.

I am always choosing CitizenM hotel brunches during my holidays in the USA. There are couple reasons and they are below: The breakfast always amazing and tasty. On the other hand, the hotel place is always in great locations and you may only walk to most places and also next to public transportation stops, such as train, bus and metro stations.
What I did not like? Honestly it is hard for me what I disliked. The location and staff was great, the room and its service was amazing. I think it can be better if you guys make the rooms a little bit larger.

The capsule rooms were fitted with all you need considering the size. I enjoyed the location, room design, and proximity to airport. I enjoyed the closeness to pier, Pike Place, and other attractions. It was easy to check in and out. Charlotte was extremely helpful getting us checked in.
One of the flaws with most things being connected to technology are the moments you have difficulty connecting and remotes doing the opposite action of what you want (e.g., chromecast, lights, blinds). I attempted to order two things on the menu at the bar which were unavailable (e.g., loaded nachos, empanada). Seattle itself has become tragically expensive I experienced a bit of sticker shock! No fault of citizenM of course.

The location. Excellent staff Good breakfast selection
Room size is on the small size if you are travelling with full size suitcases. For older clients, the configuration of the bed is problematic - one person needs to crawl over the other to get out of bed. Some of the electronics - the lighting system seemed to be all or nothing, with the exception of the night lights by the bed. We would leave the lighting system off and come back to find it all on. The blinds seemed to close during the day on their own. The tea bags utilized are non compostable. Not environmentally conscious Being cashless - you can’t pay for a ‘cuppa’ with cash, you HAVE to use a card. Isn’t friendly to non-Americans older travellers who wish to use cash and not rack up foreign transaction fees.
