I love the simplicity but yet everything was still unique also. Very clean to. Also, usually when I stay @ certain hotels I don't even bother with getting their coffee b/c it usually tastes horrible but Tru by Hilton's coffee was actually really good. It doesn't take much to make me happy.

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it cost me to park. $6 or however much it was isn't going to break the bank but if I'm already paying for a room why have to pay for parking. I do like that each car is registered in the hotels system just for "the knowing of" factor.

We travel each year during the holidays and this was our first stay in a Tru hotel. For the price, it was excellent. We loved the 24 hour coffee but it was not plugged in and was cold many times. We missed a microwave in the room but for the price, realize that we can do without. The breakfast bar was wonderful and offered different selections each day. The breakfast staff and many of the front desk staff were very helpful and nice. This is one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in. Thank you for giving us this option in Chapel Hill.

Not Hot coffee in the lobby sometimes and better signs as to when the room would be cleaned. The cleaning staff was excellent but the web page and sign in the room said different things.

Shaun was so friendly checking us in. He was the only staff member I interacted with & he left a positive impression. Location was great for our trip, room was clean.

While we loved the king size bed, it was a bit on the firm side. This is a personal preference certainty, but a softer mattress allows the limbs to sink into the bed & feel supported. Would be nice if the city (?) didn’t charge for parking at the hotel.

Clean and comfortable. Everyone was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Coffee was really good. The morning clerk was extremely nice. She offered us breakfast during our checkout. We opted out due to testing being done at the hospital. She gave us a number to call for help with rooms for people in that situation. Amazing.

Night clerk wasn't the nicest, but it seemed a person before us irritated her. There wasn't a microwave in the room.

Good location for my son to spend the night because of bad weather and hard to commute from his home to work

I called the front desk and made sure that he could check in without any problem. I paid for the room for him. When he checked in they told him he had to pay $75. They should have told me that when I booked the room. Luckily they recognized him as a mail carrier who delivered their mail at sometimes and let him stay without the $75

Very modern and clean, great staff, the nicest hotel gym I’ve seen in this range (Peloton, dumbbells, kettlebells in addition to the standard treadmills).

Limited breakfast options - toaster wasn’t working and there was no vegetarian hot food item 2 out of 3 mornings we were there (e.g., ham omelets and sausages but no vegetarian omelet or scrambled eggs).

It was very close to both the RDU Airport and the UNC-Chapel Hill campus where I was attending meetings. Clean bright decor ad comfortable beds - with friendly staff. Really appreciated the electric chargers for my rental car.

The quality of the breakfast selections was not great. Just so so.

Property is new and clean. Simple, no frills but good value for money. They charge for parking. Booking.com says free parking which is not true. booking needs to correct that as it is very clear on their site and in the parking lot that it costs $5 or $7 per day

Breakfast is very simple but included. The sheets are not very comfortable but we are picky that way.

I think the hotel was modern and the common areas were brightly lit and felt welcoming not like someone is trying to hide something. The furnishings in the room were modern and clean and the bathrooms were roomy and very well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of electrical outlets.

The front-end staff could have looked cleaner. Just didn't feel approachable, hospitable. She wasn't rude, but didn't get the warm feeling that i get from other hotels I stay.

The rooms are a little small as are the walkways around the beds. Also, we were surprised to have to pay to park overnight. We weren't in a big city so it seemed like a greedy thing for the hotel to charge to park there. We might avoid Tru by Hilton in the future if all else is equal.
