The location was perfect for us. Right across the street from Paddington Station and a short walk to many London attractions. We were just in London for 1 night so were looking for something central and easy to get in and out of. The room was well appointed, clean, modern, great shower. The staff was exceptionally accommodating and kind. We arrived super late due to a flight delay and they were there waiting for us and also gave us a late check out for free because we were exhausted. Had breakfast at the pub downstairs which was also really good quality with a great selection of up-dated yet traditional faire. Nice touches like fresh milk in the mini fridge and excellent quality tea. Good bed.
A little noisy but not too bad. We slept well and there were black out curtains.

Conveniently located across the road from Paddington Station. Wonderful all-day breakfasts available in the pub downstairs . Great prices .
You could hear the trains from Paddington Station throughout the night .

Location was absolutely perfect, very close to the station, but also bus stops, shops, bakeries, etc. I stayed in a one person bedroom on the 2nd floor. It was very tastefully decorated and it had a good size for one person, I had enough room to walk around and stretch. I couldn’t hear any sounds coming from the pub, but I could feel the vibration of the trains, but it didn’t bother me much, I slept well. They provide ear plugs if you feel the need. It was also very convenient having a pub downstairs with long hours, specially if you arrive late or leave early. The staff was nice and the food was good; the Sunday roast was delicious and breakfast was good too. If you forgot your UK power socket adapter, don’t worry: there are USB and USBC sockets
The toilet seat was lose, which was annoying at times. The duvet was a bit short on the sides, so I woke up feeling cold and finding half my body uncovered quite a few times.

The location is THE BEST part about this pub - opposite the Paddington train station and with bus stops close by (buy an Oyster card), none of London's main attractions is very far. It's an appealing, quintessential English pub with rooms upstairs (yes, there are narrow, winding steps and no lift). With three people, our room was smallish but we were only there to sleep and it didnt bother us. One of the most outstanding aspects of the POP was the extremely-comfortable king-size bed, with wonderful pillows and the biggest, thickest white bath sheets we've ever seen in any hotel/resort anywhere and the shower had a big overhead rose with hot water. We enjoyed our 4 nights here very much... oh, and the breakfasts were very good!

The location is wonderful!
No facial tissue in the room, toilet paper didn’t have a holder so they only place for it was on the window sill or the back of the toilet.

We stayed at the top floor 2 bed/2 bath apartment. Check in was simple and were greeted with great enthusiasm. We loved climbing the stairs and there were plenty of them. The view was fantastic from every window. The city sounds from transportation and traffic were not muted but embraced as being in a vibrant part of London. It's just a walk away from Paddington Station and Heathrow Express. The pub is lovely, warm, and inviting. The staff are willing to please and are very accommodating.
The only negatives I have are: The bathroom in the hallway could use a bit of a makeover. The door is swollen from water damage and is difficult to open and close. The shower is hand held only, making it difficult to reach the provided dispensers. The toilet paper holder on the wall should be tightened. This would not deter me from booking again.

Everything was great. I came with my two friends and we were really surprised at the comfort of our room. We couldn't ask for anything better in that price. Also, the staff was so nice. They helped us to check-in earlier, so we could leave our bags at the room and not in the luggage storage. Bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up at the morning. Great location, just in front of the tube and next to the bus station. There were many cafe's near the hotel and the pub downstairs. We stayed at room 1 and it was really quiet, which was surprising, because it was just above the bar.
Everything was exceptional. I really recommend it.

wonderful location across from a train station; the place was cozy and despite being on a busy street, was rather quiet most of the time beyond the low rumbling of a train that still was never too bothersome. the facilities are pretty sizable and the air conditioning helped keep the room cool when it got too warm. the bed is very comfortable and was some of the best sleep we got on our trip. the area surrounding has a lot to explore and the bus stops are so close in addition in either direction. staff was beyond kind and understanding, they were polite and friendly. a place we will reconsider staying at! also above a pub which serves a delightful breakfast as well-
while not too much of a hassle, be mindful that the electricity needs a card to keep running so if you have two people and one person steps out, you'll need a substitute or additional room key. in addition, there's no microwave or way to heat up food in the spot beyond an electric kettle, but there is a small fridge.

We really liked the location. There is a lot to do in Paddington and there were multiple excellent restaurants within walking distance to the Pride of Paddington. Our room was large and clean. The Pride pub was reasonably comfy -- typical pub food. The staff were excellent. We inadvertently left some clothing and medicine in a drawer and housekeeping rescued our stuff, that we were able to retrieve later. We had some issues working the air condo and one of the staff came to our room and gave us a short tutorial on how to set air condo. We would stay at the Pride again.
My only caveat is beware the many and, sometimes twisty, stairs. There is no elevator so be ready to carry your luggage up a lot of stairs. Nevertheless, this was my wife's favorite hotel of four hotels that we stayed in while we were in England (Bath, Oxford, back in London, overall a 15-day adventure).

Great location for accessing the tube and other rail lines. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and tidy and updated but had the old pub aesthetic which felt nice. The bar downstairs had a good range of food which was perfect after a full day tour out of the city. The street it is located on has a range of restaurants and cafes in close proximity too.
We didn't mind as the location is excellent and was perfect for us, but if you need accessibility or are a light sleeper, you may want to choose another area of London. There are stairs to all accommodation as it is above the pub and the rails run under the whole area which may be disruptive- but hey this is London. No complaints!
