have already written a review on the facebook page but to summerise everything was as we expected having stayed here a couple of years ago loved all the staff and the food is mostly excellent and there is a lot of it, prices are reasonable and is way better than any Premier Inn we have ever stayed at

didn't like watching Arsenal getting beat by PSG during our stay but not the motels fault, only complaint is my poached eggs took 10 minutes to arrive on Sunday morning and were rock solid and uneatable, obviously the proper chef had a day off, we will be back in 2026 thanks to you all

Accommodation was very roomy and comfortable. Excellent bathroom facilities with hot shower and soft bath towels. Room was quiet and warm with good lighing. Breakfast was superb...cooked breakfast beautiful. Staff were friendly and very helpful and accommodating ...on last morning I had to leave before breakfast was officially served and staff actually gave me a packed breakfast sandwich for the journey!!! Nothing was too much trouble. Meals served in the dining room were inexpensive but very good quality Very homely place to stay. Easy parking and very good access to local area just off the M4. I shall recommend it to others and I shall be back. Thanku.

The exterior actually looks rather rundown and really does not reflect the quality accommodation inside so that needs attention.

Stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend and was very pleased with the rooms and layout of the building. Free parking and breakfast . Staff were so nice and spent a few hours in the bar and locals were very welcoming. I must say the lovely cleaning girls are absolutely marvellous and so nice to be welcomed by cheerful , friendly people who clearly love making customers happy. They are a credit to green acre motel so make sure you look after them and reward there hard work. Overall our stay was lovely , clean and friendly and we will be back again . For a motel it was better than some hotels! The friendliness of the staff, how quiet it was, considering there is a pub at the front of the building, and the much welcomed "breakfast included" combined to make it one the best experiences yet. Everything you need is easily accessible and nearby which includes the beach at Porthcawl.

There wasn't anything to dislike. Everything was as it should be to have a very comfortable time. Only downside was the Internet connection as it wasn't the best but was adequate enough. Though, to be fair the connectivity in the area was of poor quality for all networks I found.

Clean room bar a rusty shower pole and small amount of mould on ceiling in bathroom! The room was spotless otherwise! Staff were all pleasant and made our stay enjoyable, from restaurant staff to bar staff to the amazing cleaners! The food was outstanding, and breakfast was also! Nothing was too much for staff, and the added touch of some locals strumming guitars and singing made a great 1st night atmosphere!

Bed was not the comfiest but was fine for a short stay! Everyone prefers their own bed!!!!

The staff were exceptionally helpful, very friendly, and approachable. If you want a comfortable and quiet room, a good breakfast, a shower that could almost peel paint, and no fuss, this is top-notch. For an overnight stay, this is ideal and would be good for a weekend visit, too, as the hotel is very near the Kenfig Burrows nature reserve (recommended for a visit). We didn't eat in the dining room in the evening, but the bars were well-organised and well-run, with staff having a can-do attitude to their jobs.

It's fair to say the bathroom was a little tired. However, put it this way, a comfortable and well-equipped room, free WiFi, en-suite facilities, and good service were worth more than the price we paid for the room. We've had far worse at supposedly better and more expensive hotels.

Such a convenient place for me to stay while visiting family in Port Talbot and Tondu. Clean, very comfortable beds, staff go above and beyond. Had a minor issue with the shower and it was resolved the same day. Staff are also very pleasant as well as helpful. The breakfast is so good too! We had an evening meal there with all of my family and it was just perfect 🤗 This was our third time staying and it definitely won't be the last!

Our room didn't have a hairdryer but I'm sure if I'd mentioned it, they would have provided one

Very friendly and welcoming staff 😊 quite quiet in the rooms and plenty going on if you want a bit of night life in the pub at the front of the building. Easy parking and great food on offer. Breakfast, lunch and dinner 😁 Had a lovely comfortable 2 night stay.

Nothing to say here to be honest 😊 I really was very comfortable here. They even let you know if they are busy at any time through your stay.

Very impressed by staff willingness to sort out any minor problems. Room very clean/tidied daily to good standard. Food available excellent. A big contrast was the staff's friendliness......tried two other local restaurants where dialogue was distinctly unfriendly by comparison..Well situated for trains and exploring coast

Walls distinctly thin... woken by young couple in next room at 1.30, who were giving the bed springs a good usage !!!!!!

Upon our arrival, the booking in was very straight forward and the staff had time for us unlike some other hotels we've stayed at and we will be staying here again in the near future. This hotel have got it right and should be a training hotel for anyone wishing to run a hotel business. Well done.

Can't fault this hotel and we stay at a lot of hotels throughout the year traveling for business.
