October 2025
This was my third time staying at The Clyde, and my husbands second. We love staying here! Honestly, we love that everything at The Clyde feels upgraded and has a bougie boutique hotel vibe instead of just a standard hotel feel. We stayed on the 16th floor this time, and the view was amazing!! Completely the best view of any of my other stays. On Monday we were able to view Mass Assertion from our room, and it made any "con" feel worth dealing with. The bed is always super comfy. We stayed this time in an upgraded room, and the fridge/coffee/closet area was redone and felt super inviting when we opened the double doors. The room had good lighting, lots of usb ports for charging devices, and the whole room was just a vibe. We also love that valet parking was affordable, and had a really nice staff. Honestly the staff was the very best part of what the hotel offers. They're wonderful! We decided to eat dinner upon arrival at the hotel Bar, and it was really good. We were pleased with the high end food options and not just bar food. Also, don't sleep on the little coffee shop. I had their cedar-vanilla latte, and it was delicious. So nice to have a coffee shop option in the building. The whole experience was really enjoyable. We'd stay here again!
We brought some friends with us for Balloon Fiesta this time, and honestly this time a few things felt disappointing. The gift shop can be hit and miss, and this time it was a total miss for us. We had 2 rooms, and neither TV was easy to use. The preprogramed timer kept shutting it off. The phone in their room didn't work at all. And we had significant trouble getting ahold of room service because they never answered the phone, and they couldn't get ahold of them at all. Nothing that ruined our stay. But was a bummer for how much we paid for the weekend.

Very clean, pleasant room, hotel is very fancy, gorgeous. Parking is in a garage right there, which is great, and parking price is included in the room price.
However pet fee is additional 75$, which i would know if Booking had an option to add a pet in to the reservation. So that was an unpleasant surprise, considering usually price varies 20-30$ for the pet. But at least you really see what you are paying for. Outside of the hotel is typical big city downtown area with homeless person banging their head against the wall, like I witnessed when took my dog on a walk.

My husband, I, and our dog stayed at the hotel during the evacuation and fire threat near our home in Silver City, New Mexico. The staff could not have treated us better. They were considerate, kind, and remembered us and our situation during our several day visit. They also sent up plates of food to keep us sustained and provided a refrigerator so we could keep the food fresh. They were an outstanding group. The room was also very pleasant, roomy, and very clean. I would highly recommend The Clyde.
It couldn't have been a better experience given our circumstance.

I was there during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and i absolutely loved that they opened up the conference room/viewing desk on the 19th floor for us to see the balloon rising in the morning and evening. They even had free coffee and fruits. The hotel is centrally located, and like most downtowns, things are opened during business hours; not much to do in the evening -- everything seemed closed. The hotel itself is nice and the rooms were well appointed and clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable. All the staff is friendly and helpful.

The ambience of the hotel was cool, calm, simple, elegant and retro. It reminded me of the fashionable 1930s. There were several places for conversations in the hotel. The restaurant the Carrie was quite nice for any meal and the atmosphere was light; the bar was darker and more intimate. The valet parking at $10 a day was a deal, convenient and safe. Overall it is amore adult than child centered hotel. Although I enjoy children, I like this more romantic, single or business clientele that this hotel caters to. I liked the proximity of being near Old Town but not directly in the hubbub.
It's difficult to find a lot of cons. There was some upgrading going on during my visits with construction areas. Sometimes the valets were hard to find. Sometimes there was entertainment in the square, but at night I did not feel safe strolling around. I enjoy a good view but the cost differential for a room with a view was substantial.

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is lovely, and the accommodations are always clean and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable as well. We were given a nice upgrade on this latest stay and had a room on an upper floor that was bigger than we typically have. This was a pleasant surprise which was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Only wish we could have stayed more than one night.
Don't know there is anything I can say we didn't like.

The staff was amazing, they were so good to us and our kids. The guy at valet greeted people by name which showed us he really took the time to get to know the guest. It was my daughters 3rd birthday and everyone was amazing and told her Happy Birthday which she loved! Anything we needed the staff was prompt and we were very impressed. I loved the coffee bar and the 1920’s bar was amazing! The pool was great but seating was limited. Other then that we loved it!
Besides being stuck in the elevator I really wished they had a microwave in the room. The staff did mention they were working on the elevators so I wasn’t that surprised but they were very responsive.

Staff was helpful and friendly, hotel was clean and rooms are big, bed was comfortable! Hotel has valet parking however I like to park my own vehicle I liked how convenient it was to park own car and still have access to the hotel. Would definitely recommend
Wished the pool had been at least heated ! Also feel like there is more shade needed in the pool area. Stayed at the hotel 3 days and all 3 days we had issues with the elevators they have 4 but it seemed like only 1 was working during or stay would wait for about 10 min for a elevator not exaggerating the wait time and when it came down they would have minimum 15 people.

My stay here was great! This is a very nice hotel, my friend and I don't usually pick hotels this nice. However, it was the most reasonably priced one! The location was perfect as it was really close to the train/bus station. We did not have a car so we came in on the bus from the airport and used the train to get to Santa Fe. Ubers were cheap from the hotel to where we wanted to go! The rooms were clean and spacious, even the bathroom! The beds were comfortable. Also, they use a text message system that you are able to text for any needs, I found that very convenient! I'd definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Albuquerque!
I only spent 2 nights there and wasn't at the hotel a lot of the time because we were out exploring. There was nothing that I disliked.

This hotel is always pleasant from the valets that park my car to the receptionist at check in and check out. The rooms are just as nice and clean as the lobby and the gym is beautiful and always very clean with a great view of downtown. I love staying here and I believe the prices are always reasonable. Just tried the bar for the first time and the prices are reasonable, the drinks were great, and the staff there was also great.
