Our flight was delayed and needed a place to spend the night. The property is relatively close to the airport and not too difficult to navigate. The self check-in/out was easy and I imagine it’d be great for late check-ins. Our room itself was quite spacious. The shared shower, toilet, kitchen/living also met our needs.

There were no body towels. Maybe give an option to “rent” with fee if needed. Sound proofing was not great, and we had some loud housemates who arrived close to midnight. Might be something to communicate, for example if there was a board that tenants of room 101 indicates they’re sleeping, it might prompt new arrivants to be more considerate - it’s unclear who else is in the house atm. No convenience stores (that are open) by the property, so I would recommend stocking up at the station.

Izumi-Sano was close to the airport and it worked for being a place we could reach before the trains stopped after a very late flight. It was cleaned every day and I liked our room and the fact we had a heater/air conditioner. I also liked that we could check in on a tablet when we arrived without disturbing any staff late at night.

Unfortunately, the staircase is very narrow and it's difficult to get large and heavy suitcases up it. Also, because the property is primarily hardwood, it is very noisy when guests move up and down the stairs and in their rooms. It's easy to hear other guests in their rooms as well. The mattresses on the floor were also very thin, so it was uncomfortable on my back. I think thicker futons would be a great addition to the rooms. It was also a 15-minute walk to the guesthouse from the station, and a lot of the street was cobblestone, which isn't great if you have rolling luggage as it will make a lot of noise if you are arriving late. You may want to consider this if you are coming in late.

The rooms smell very nice, I loved the bathroom. The facilities that are shared are very clean and cozy. It was my first time sleeping on tatami mats it was quite comfy. We had other guests in other rooms so we could hear them, but the doors are quite good and we managed to get some good nights sleep. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

There wasn't anything I did not like apart the Japans heat. Thankfully the air conditioner solved that issue.

We had a hard time opening the key locker. There was no instruction “how to open”, like there’s a need to push something. We got lucky there are other arriving guests after more than 15 minutes of trying, my nails were broken. Also, the occupant at nearby room was a bit loud but at least we slept well.

The AC was incredibly helpful in the humid weather and the price was very worth when shared with one other person.

The locks for the luggage didn’t seem to be working, and we were not sure if it was optional to use them. We were not sure about where we could put our shoes. We were not sure about leaving the door unlocked when we left because we were instructed to leave the keys inside on the table. These uncertainties made the stay a little more stressful.

The place was clean, tidy, and basically everything you need. Spacious room comfortably accommodates 2 people with 4 baggages. Just one drawback, which I think is acceptable, the room we stayed in can really, I mean really, smell the people smoking outside. Even with the windows all shuted, we still smell it. Otherwise, it is definitely worth the money and time for a brief stay. Would definitely come back if future trips call for low-priced and enjoyable accommodation.

It was really clean and the staff gave really easy to understand instructions on how to Check-In. The room was very spacious and clean. It was a shame that we only stayed for a night, but there was a really big kitchen and dining space in the common area.

Because of how Japanese houses are built, the stairs were abit narrow for larger luggage to be brought upstairs, so we had to leave our luggage at the common area downstairs. But chain locks were provided to secure your luggage onto the rail on the wall near the entrance.

Very close to the airport, perfect for the last night before departure! Clean and comfy rooms, tho stuff like bathrooms are shared with up to three parties.

Sadly, no cold water in the system (bathroom), which would be nice with 38 degrees outside temperature. The AC is not the newest model so it took around 2hrs until the room was cooled.

The location is not far from the station, but if you are carrying more than 1 big luggage, it might be a bit hard for moving around. The room was warm, clean and tidy, small towel and toiletries were provided. We brought a total of 2 28inch luggage, the room was big enough to unpack.

A nice and comfortable home. Host very friendly and reply promptly. The house very near to the train station, 5 mins walking distance. Host gives us very clear instructions from izumisano station to the house. Check-in steps also very easy and not required physical contact.

Bath towel will not be given to all the guests. Only face towel. This is not a hotel with elevator, so all the big luggages need to be kept at ground floor as the staircase actually not that big. Lock will be provided. We stayed one night only so this doesn't affects us at all.
