- Excellent central location (great access to stores, restaurants, public transport, etc.) - Spacious for two people - Classy modern design

- It was cold (mid-September), especially in the bathroom. We absolutely did not enjoy showering because of the cold air in the bathroom. Luckily there were no problems with the heating of the shower water. The bathroom window had large slits/gaps, as well as the bed-side windows. The insulation should definitely be improved/modernised for guests’ comfort and for the hotel’s energy expenses.

It was on a city street that was never too loud. It was handy to the main square and walkable from the train station, but not close. The apartment was clean and beds were comfy. Nice shower. Clean towels almost daily.

Wish we knew how steep and narrow the staircases were up to apt 4. Didn’t know about the entry fob until we tried to get in. Luckily the owner was available. No info on the TV. Did it work? How to use it, if it did. Breakfast around the corner not well explained. Didn’t know times were reserved and were later than we could eat, but we had already paid. Different price charged for bkfst than what was on website.

As someone with slightly impaired mobility the staircase was a bit of a challenge but typical of older Dutch properties. Kitchen could be better equipped as I need to cater for my dietary needs but a bit of invention overcame the challenges.

Property was in a great location and was clean and comfortable. We had the room on the fourth floor, so that meant three flights of steep, narrow, spiral stairs. We knew that was a possibility when we booked, but if you struggle with stairs or have a little of luggage, it could be an issue.

Location great with all of lovely Haarlem in centre. and nice room for 3 adults Staff helpful over intercom. Clean Only here 1 night so was ideal

Staff helpful but strange no reception not used to it but know now using the app all last minute not organised ourselves but all ok in end.

Super helpful and friendly service. Wonderful location. Everyday cleaning and changing towels. That's 3 factors that exceeded my expectations.

We've stayed at Budget Studio on the ground floor. Unfortunately, we didn't noticed on booking pictures that a room has the only window on celling. But it's manageable, we can open it, so we got less discomfort than I thought at the beginning.

The check in was tricky because I didn't check the info they sent me via chat, but they tell everything on phone after i called them. Friendly, patient, helpful. Location is great, you can find everything in the neighborhood. I was afraid the room will be noisy, but after the shops closed, people disappeared.

The stairs are a little bit narrow, so watch out if you're with children.

The stairs were difficult to manage as we were on 3rd floor, traditional staircase but the staff explained and helped with our luggage on leaving.

Being an older building the stairs were narrow and not that easy to climb especially with luggage - I only had a small cabin bag

Fabulous location, great size room. Monica was great to reply when we had flight issues. Would book again.

The room itself was clean, the kitchenette area wasn't- there was broken glass left in the sink and empty beer boxes and cans in the fridge. We weren't using that section, so we didn't mind. And it also wouldn't stop us from booking again in the future.
