Great location (easy can drive right up), the hosts were incredible (they will do anything to make sure your stay is amazing!), the food and experience was fantastic. We stayed in a Martian Dome and it was incredibly unique.

Main downsides are that there is only wifi available in the common areas (not available in the rooms) and there are some hidden costs with extras for beverages that are quite overpriced

We loved The Martian Dome experience (esp after watching the Martian!). It was important to us that our stay is complete with modern amenities and authentic with local touch at the same time, and Sun City managed to balance that extremely well. Our all inclusive stay was made more memorable by the hardworking staff and the whole team. (Mahmoud, Faris, Sultan, Abdul, Chef Hassan/Chef Mohd, F&B team, Housekeeping, Security staff etc). The team were attentive and quick to anticipate our needs, even though there were plenty of guests, both local and international guests, the management team check in with everyone as much as they could. We appreciate it very much. The room was comfortable with air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, clean and well maintained, thoughtful curtains design for star gazing or to block out the summer sun/heat as we were there during the scorching hot mid August. We hired a car and drove from Petra to Sun City and relief to see how easy it was to navigate on GPS as it brings you right to their doorstep parking. We drove during day time and avoided driving anytime after sunset in Jordan as our general rule. We stayed 2 nights, planned a nice day trip south to Aqaba and a Wadi Rum experience with a local tour visiting some of the Hollywood film site (The Martian, Dune, Rogue One, Lawrence of Arabia) and just loving the vastness of the desert and its life. We will definitely return again for a longer stay!

if you don't like soft powdery ancient sand, Wadi Rum is not for you.

The staff were all accommodating & hospitable. They provided timely transport for us when we haven’t booked any. We were greeted by staff and made sure we were well attended. The manager & the head of the kitchen/ dome/dining area were all fairly amazing. Foods were no problem they have wide option. But traditional food itself is palatable and really a must try. Dinner should not be missed I must say. We preferred to eat inside the dome by day & outside by night to enjoy the starry skies. For our stay we were assigned the Martian Room 2 & got the best view. We did not join the tour but requested on site to provide us a driver & a transport to visit the sites we want for a sunset tour in Wadi Tour. Ahmed a young lad was so kind to bring us to sites that were otherworldly o deed & we particularly chose. He knows the spot for the best sunset too. They even made sure we get to RumSky venue in time they keep calling them but to be fair it’s near in Sun city camp just few minutes away , we thought we were late coz we participated in the dance. Overall, it was an amazing stay! So clean, convenient & safe. They got all that you need that suits your itinerary.

We stayed one night at the Grand Suite Tent which is very spacious with a walk in wardrobe, two double beds, a large bathroom and a terrace with outdoor furniture. The Tent was exceptionally clean. We arrived just after 1pm, and we were welcomed by amazing Haytham. We didn’t plan anything so he booked us in a private 4x4 trip to watch the sunset, star grazing at night, and a camel ride in the morning to watch the sun rise. All for a very reasonable price. He also checked on us often and looked after us until the moment we left. All staff at the camp are brilliant and attentive. Both breakfast and dinner were included in the price. The food was delicious! We spent a relaxing evening after dinner entertained by a few guests who happily danced along with the music. Overall it was great experience. We will definitely recommend the Sun City Camp to family and friends if they wish to visit Wadi Rum.

Everything was great.

Extremely friendly staff that also helped us in arranging for tours. The tent with connected rooms is extremely convenient for families (you can skip the martian tent as you won't see stars from your tent anyway). Breakfast and dinner had a variety of options, and especially dinner was a unique experience and generous. Location is right across the stargazing experience and zipline. You can drive your own car to the camp and park at the camp. Tents and bathrooms are very spacious.

A dog from a neighboring camp kept barking all night, and stole my kids shoe (tip: don't keep your shoes outside). Luckily we found it thrown near another tent. A stronger/cooler air-conditioning would have been convenient. Staff kept saying there will be a traditional dabka dance party after dinner but that didn't happen (I guess they expected the visitors to party to the loud music they played). Nevertheless, I couldn't care less about a dance party.

My friend and I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel in Wadi Rum. We arrived by bus, and even before reaching the village, a hotel representative met us and gave us a ride—such a thoughtful welcome! At the hotel, the staff greeted us warmly and upgraded our room to a more comfortable one. They offered us tea, coffee, and juice on arrival, which was a lovely gesture. They also helped us book a 4-hour jeep tour in the desert and arranged a taxi for us to Aqaba—all very quickly and efficiently. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. They even let us check in a bit earlier than the official time, without any issues. The restaurant deserves special mention: everything we tried was delicious. The chef was extremely friendly and even treated us to drinks, even though beverages weren’t included with dinner. What stood out the most was how kind and attentive every single staff member was. They would stop to chat and make sure we were enjoying our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Wadi Rum!

Can't expect more in a desert area. Suncity camp is unique and well located in Wadi Rum, I had 2 magical nights stay here. The staffs, the quality of the Maritian tent, the view, the food and everything is perfect to make my stay an unforgettable one. Special thanks to Haytham and the team who always attentive to all guests and meet their needs. When I returned to my camp after dinner and one staff just so kind and led me all the way in the dark back to the camp. The house keeping was always spotlessly clean with a very good scent in the room. I had a very delicious traditional sand baked meat for dinner and all other foods are plentiful and beautifully served. I enjoyed the 4 hour jeep tour and watched an amazing sunset on the last day. Definitely an excellent choice in Wadi Rum.

Not a dislike at all, just a small notes that wi-fi is only available at the reception and the restaurant. The lighting is perfect enough at night for use, but may be a bit dark if need to work a bit.

To be honest, this hotel looks better in the pictures. The smell in the room was not good, and bathroom facilities were outdated a little. We still had the most amazing time! Staff is great, people are very welcoming and nice! The food was awesome! Air baloon ride - unforgetable! Stargazing and Jeep Tours - very memorable!

You need to work on the smell in the rooms Our Martian dome wasn't clean - the armchairs were dirty, someone spilled cofee on them. The floor and the bathroom could be cleaner.

We stayed in a Martian room at Sun City Camp and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was well-equipped and comfortable, though it lacked an iron. The location is stunning, offering exceptional views of the Wadi Rum desert.

Dinner and breakfast buffets were included in our stay. While the food quality was good, the dining experience felt quite disorganized, possibly due to a large group staying that night. The atmosphere was somewhat chaotic and detracted from what could have been a smooth dining service.

The staff were incredible - such fantastic customer service even though the camp was busy. Great location - we stayed in a Martian tent facing into the desert. Spotlessly clean with water and soft drinks provided in mini bar. Air con worked perfectly as did hot water for shower. Special mention to Hassan (hopefully spelling is correct) who looked after us so well.

We understand no signage due to restrictions of reserve but some instructions of how to get there would be helpful 🙏🏻
