The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

The breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Gorgeous views from the room. Having english speaking front desk attendant coming to our suite to explain everything about the hotel since we speak english was very nice touch.

Charging for the patio beds at the pool was something very cheap. Also we wanted to order the food at the pool but we were asked to pay for the chairs . That was the reason we did not order the food as we do not want to stand while eating. Being able to book the room through website was no problem, but upon arrival to find out that the price is for one person was a big surprise.

Location is unique with wide 180 degree Seaview and a quiet area of the Kobe port. Free shuttle bus is convenient. The hotel is very well maintained, room is comfortable, nicely decored and in good size with a balcony. Onsen is well designed and clean. The room package is inclusive of two meals which are of good quality. The garden area just in front of the hotel is very relaxing too.

it's hard to find one area that I don't like. Perhaps the room package can be flexible to allow gurst to choose meal options. Also the shuttle bus on returning to sannomiya station can have final drop off at the pick up point.

The property was beautiful and we loved exploring Kobe! The lower level Onsen was fantastic!

The upper level Onsen had potential to be better. The outdoor portion just had a hottub and the rest was closed. However, since they did have the amazing ground level Onsen, that wasn't too inconvenient.

Onsen is good, room is modern Japanese style new and clean. Swimming pool the water is 28 degrees and can enjoy swimming even during winter / only 7 degrees outdoor.

The breakfast was mainly Japanese style, so limited choices and was the same every day. The dinner was buffet and Japanese style too, more choices. However it was the same every day and as we stayed for 3 nights, it’s a bit boring.

Meals were excellent. It was the best buffet I've had. It was easy to get to the downtown district of Kobe and a bonus that it was easy access to the airport limosine bus to get to kansai

Difficulty with language with hotel staff.

The pool and deliciuous breakfast and dinner. Place also has timely bus to take us to city center and back.
