We liked everything about our stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Had enough place to put all our stuff and nothing was in the way. The pool was great and had quite big clothes drying rack. There was a great laundromat in Prosecco, which was very useful. Everything we needed - we just had to ask. And breakfast truly was great, compared to what you can usually get in Italy.

You will really need to drive for everything. Sgonico is so small that there's not really any place to walk to. Also, if you're a light sleeper, there's a church near and it rings every 30 minutes. Didn't bother us too much (and I think that they've done a great job with soundproofing the place, because you can't hear the neighbours at all...), but maybe it's a problem for some.

We can highly recommend this place. It is a welcoming, peaceful oasis in a small village with lovely people. Parking is possible in the private garden. Appartement was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious. Breakfast is rich compared to the standards in Italy and what we experienced so far in other hotels. Location is quite, you can reach the coastline in 15-20 mins. We recommend Sistiana and its public beach, moreover the Pizzeria Joy - also very good price:quality ratio of products. You can takeaway a nice pizza and enjoy in Sgonico at the pool during sunset. Amazing moment.

Very nice hostess. Quiet place, large garden full of flowers, figs, clean illuminated pool. Rich delicious breakfast. If we didn't have something or needed something, we just had to ask the hostess. Everything is close - the city, restaurants, caves, beaches, sights. We will definitely come back here again. We had a great time here.

The breakfast was fine, the service and the kindnes of Pamela and her family was incredible, the pool was fantastic. Especially, I also loved the place as it's on the countryside where everything is calm and hardly no noice.

Stunning location in the foothills above Trieste. Small village. Beautiful modern multilevel apartment, fresh breakfast on the patio. Owner Pamela was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

The location was quiet and we had a nice breakfast. And the pool was great too to dip in when got hot.

The sofa downstairs was very uncomfortable to sleep on and it would be nice to have little more kitchen things like some utensils, small stove and similar.

The surroundings of the place are very beautiful and well-kept. The rooms is very nicely decorated and clean. Pet friendly and free via booking:)

Supplement for two children aged 6, 13 of 65€ is a lot! We had no hot water for shower. Basic breakfast. (Bread, croissant, sweet spreads, cheese and sausage.) The children were waiting for the pool but didn't want to go in since there were 2 dead scorpions at the bottom!

The place and the view is lovely. Breakfast was fabulous and the local restaurants were great too. It is the best choice for those who prefer a bit less touristic, more authentic experience of the rural Italy.

There was a coffee machine but no cups or cutleries were available in the flat. All restaurants nearby were closed/ too busy to dine in, so we had to do a take away, so some forks and knives would have come handy.

A secret corner of paradise and relaxation near the wonderful city of Trst/Trieste - great breakfast. The upstairs room is lovely. The pool was great, set in a garden of figs and pomegranates with woodpeckers & swifts all paying a visit

The apartement was very comfortable and clean. The best part was the swimming Pool. The hosts were friendly and I felt very welcomed! Breakfast had everything you need and was arranged at my prefered time, even if it was early.
