The hotel was done over since we first started going there and the appearance is and comfort level is much improved with the remodeling of the bathrooms and the new laminate flooring.

Only complaint is that it’s a little weird that you have to walk outside the building to get from your room to the lobby. Not a problem in the warm weather but in March a little inconvenient. also the housekeeper not done our door as we were leaving about 1015 minutes late from checkout. I told him we would be right out, but he gave me kind of a nasty look. My friend and I are both very neat and clean the use of hotel rooms, So even though we left a few minutes late, he didn’t have as much cleaning to do as he would with some other peoples’rooms, And we did leave a tip.

The property was conveniently located. It was just 7 minutes from the center of downtown Newport. The room was clean and taken care of each day. Breakfast was included which was nice.

There was no elevator so bringing luggage up to the upper floor was challenging. The faucet on the tub did not work well despite it being looked at by the staff three times. The inn is very near a busy street so it was quite noisy through the night.

The room we had was a reasonable size and had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was fine. We had difficulty getting the shower to work so I went down to the office and explained the problem expecting it to be sorted during the day but within about 10 minutes there was knock on the door and housekeeping staff had arrived, it seemed the tap was just quite stiff to operate but once we knew that we were able to use it, can't fault the speed with which they came to investigate!

Room was upstairs with no lift. Hotel was not very close to the town but only about a 5 minute drive away.

Very convenient to location of mansions and cliff walk was there to sleep and shower. Staff is very friendly.

The set up of breakfast the coffee creamer is near toaster and not near coffee and people using toaster blocked creamer so it was not smooth just moving things together would make it easier for people who just want coffee. ..and the shower took a while to heat up but when it did it was really nice maybe a note saying it takes a minute to heat up.

The breakfast was good. They only thing that I didn't like was they didn't have half and half for the coffee. Just coffee mate which I don't like So I went out and bought my own half and half.

Nice having bananas, cereal, and lots of yummy bread and sweets selection. Front desk person, maintenance, and housekeeping were excellent. Bus 60 drops off in front of this hotel on the way back in from Newport.

The shower handle was stuck. Had to call maintenence.

The breakfast was fine and for 2 of the 3 mornings of our stay we were the only guests in the dining room. Nice selection of food.

This has nothing to do with Rodeway but I will never use Booking.com again nor would I recommend it to my friends. Their nightly rate was almost $100 more than going directly to the hotel website.

Microwave and fridges. I liked how there was Code to get in the building for safety. The bed was super comfortable.

For it to be a motel it was pricey but it was def comfortable. I did stay in Father’s Day weekend so I’m expecting that why the price went up

We had a small crisis at 1 in afternoon, gf was on phone w dying mother and staff had to tell us to be quiet. In middle of afternoon 🤷‍♀️ said people were complaining 3 rooms down (there was only 1 other room in the hall w us) I could see if it was 1am but geez ....

Room wasn’t cleaned when requested and we had to ask for clean towels and hallway was really warm and the breakfast was congested it would be more functional if the coffee tea was at end with everything to flow more everyone was stuck near toaster
