Large, clean and updated rooms, comfortable beds. The property was clean throughout and the decor and fixtures were modern and updated. The breakfast had a nice selection of items on rotation and the breakfast area had ample seat. They even provided coloring pages and crayons which helped to occupy the kids. Located near some restaurants and a supermarket. We enjoyed our stay very much

Breakfast location was good and very clean.

The breakfast was very limited and trays weren't being refilled for people getting there after 9am. I know it opens at 6, but most people on vacation and traveling aren't getting up that early and it wouldn't hurt to put in a waffle station. Other Hampton Inn locations offer that.

Booked two connected rooms. Beds were clean and comfortable, and that's coming from a germaphobe! The bathroom had a few rusty yellow stains though, mostly cosmetic, probably results of age. Overall, the rooms were pretty well maintained. It was mostly quiet for the rest of the evening aside from some young children running in the halls. But that stopped by 9pm. Hotel offers plenty of parking spaces! Would consider returning.

They were experiencing technical issues with their computer system earlier in the day and so check-in took a while when we arrived. But to be fair, they looked to be understaffed. The young girl who helped us might need some more training, but kudos to her coworker that came to the rescue - multitasking between two groups of people checking in.

Hotel in decent shape, room was bigger than expected. Lady at the lobby was discreet and polite.

During breakfast hot water ran out in tea thermos and I was left without tea. When I asked the waiter could he fill it up, he mumbled something and nodded. Yet nothing happened within another 15min. I lost patience and left. While some good half an hour later checking out I thought maybe water it's not that big deal to boil some water. But no, unfortunately it must have been more important things scheduled.

Best sleep! The mattress & pillows are wonderful! I looked up the kind you use & thinking of one for home !

Connection to WiFi. Far too techy for the older generation & I prefer a printed receipt at time of service not by email or text. Why does CUSTOMER service suffer and not give all ways of receipt, as printed at time of service should be at the very least an option!

Breakfast was excellent! So much variety and very tasty. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Did not have a section downstairs for toiletries. I had forgotten my deodorant and toothpaste. It would have been conveniently nice to go downstairs to purchase.

Pool was closed for cleaning on the morning we left but my wife didn't find out until she arrived down there ready to swim. Maybe a notice on the reception desk?

This hotel is centrally located in Newport. We were able to check in early. Loved that dogs are allowed and there is a great walki g trail to walk the dog behind the hotel. Also, there is a super market, starbucks, and liquor store behind the hotel.

It was very pricey when we booked especially for a Hampton Inn. It would be nice to have the shuttle included with the cost of the hotel.

Definitely one of the benefits was much appreciated was the Transport Van drop off every hour to downtown Newport - That was such a definite Plus so convenient and helpful as parking in downtown Newport is near impossible.Also all staff were wonderful. Breakfast also good. Liked the ice water always available with berries or cucumbers or lemons very refreshing.

The property was recently renovated - in Facebook t some remaining renovations were still ongoing. As a result, our room and all other public access were very clean and well-maintained. The staff were very helpful and generous with your time.

The location is somewhat distance from Providence although there is good freeway access. It seem to me that the hotel is located in a predominantly shopping centre, fast food, warehouse area so there was good access to all of those amenities. Unfortunately, it’s did seem rather dowdy in the general vicinity.
