The room was super clean and very roomy, the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of towels. The grounds are very well maintained. The location is great with several restaurants nearby. The staff is super. Very friendly and professional. They go over and above with customer service. When we arrived around 8:30 pm we did a quick check-in and immediately left to get dinner. We were gone for a couple of hours. My husband left his credit card at the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk kept an eye out for us to arrive and within a couple of minutes he was at our door to return the card to us. He could have just called our room to let us know to stop by the office and pickup our card if at all, instead he personally walked it over to our door. We will definitely continue to stay at this hotel anytime we are in Albuquerque.

Super cute refurbished hotel from maybe the 50s? Repainted and redone, beautiful and a great room with comfy bed! For this price in ABQ compared to other hotels, its amazing and I highly recommend! Also there is the most delicious taco truck (actually a bus) super close with the best Mexican food and open late.
only complaint is the breakfast, it is mostly really poor quality foods with a bunch of chemical additives, I think its possible to stock the breakfast with cheap food (Trader Joe's for example) with much better ingredients. Other than this, everything was amazing!

The staff was very accommodating and very friendly and very helpful and the property was very clean and neat and the beds were very comfortable
It was not the room that it was I was supposed to get I did not have a tub or the couch and the sink water came out and sprayed over on to the floor the breakfast there was no eggs or protein and a lot of commercial sugar sweets in the pool was not heated the girls could only stay in it 15 minutes until their lips turn blue

I stayed here twice this week. The first time I had lower expectations because of the price and because its a Motel. I was surprised that the room was So Clean, and the decor was cute! I liked the design of the window shades even. The second time, some of the furniture was a little more worn in. Same furniture, but maybe they rented out the room more? I tend to be weary in budget hotels because they carry a vibe that I have a hard time sleeping in, but both rooms had good energy. I would definitely stay here again.
Wish the bedding was warmer and the smell of the cleaner not so strong.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the 3 queen room.. we have a large family, and not knowing they had 3 queen room..upon checking in the front desk asked if we wanted to upgrade the room .. we are so glad we did.. we slept comfortably and peacfully.. not to forget clean .. The front desk was amazing, with a great breakfast and coffee. we truly enjoyed our stay.. We will be back again soon. :)
Nothing ... everything was just wonderful..

The atmosphere is appealing and the owners truly care about the property. It is very close to Old town, the arboretum and aquarium. There is a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot, all important for those on a special diet. There is a slight view of the beautiful mountains and the crisp fresh air of Albuquerque adds to the atmosphere. There is a/c for hot afternoons. We have stayed here 3 xs due to staff and location. To care about the property and customer is very important to us.
The shower curtain was missing the internal liner.

The bed was super comfortable, free breakfast was pretty good- waffles, toast, bananas, cereal, etc, the room was spacious, great price, only 10 minutes from downtown
The shower was leaking the whole time and the air conditioner was really loud, the bed was kind of creaky too so the room was just a bit noisy. Not terrible at all and still had a lovely stay.

Gentleman in office was extremely helpful. The building looks very sharp with the new paint. The new window shutters are so classy, as is the headboard with a canvas painting insert. Someone has put a lot of time and effort into designing a very comfortable place for travelers
Stairs- my fault - I need to request bottom floor for my husband who has difficulty walking.

Motel is in older but improving neighborhood on West Central a short drive to Old Town. Motel itself is also older, but the owners, who are very nice, are continually making improvements. I stayed there in June and September and had no issues with the motel or neighborhood.
Not impressed with the breakfast but it’s good enough to tide you over. The rooms are what is most important anyway. Traffic on Central was annoying at times. But not the motel’s fault.

The Sandia peak is my number one motel I go to now when I'm in albuquerque. I know the rooms will be clean the staff will be pleasant and breakfast will be served in the morning on time with no hassle about bringing a plate of food back to your room. Good experiences and Good vibes here even better memories with my family. If I was you I would book here before I book at the Ramada inn, Green tree hotel, motel 6 super 8 or any one of those motels up and down University 😂🤣🤮🤢 nice clean rooms beds without dents and no roaches or bugs to speak of downstairs are upstairs I think I made it on thick get down here and see for yourself. You won't be sorry.
