We were a little disappointed to find out that they no longer did a full service bed and breakfast but instead did a self-serve continental breakfast. That said, the baked goods were made in house and there was a decent selection of items. The large shared kitchen was nice and easy to use, it even had a shared fridge for guests. You really can't beat the location of the Wicker Park Inn! It was close to a train station for easy access to other ares of Chicago and was surrounded by fantastic food and interesting shops.

The room was nicely done up and had a great shower and comfy bed with lots of space. Unfortunately the building is poorly insulated/sound proofed so we could hear every creak of the stairs, every footstep overhead, the man next door snoring and the train going by through the fireplace. While they did provide earplugs we still were bothered by the noise.

The staff were most welcoming, helpful and friendly at all times. The room was a reasonable size as was the en-suite. The common area was bright and spacious. Shops are a short stroll away and two railway stations are within easy reach.

The property sits equidistant from Damen and Division Stations and the railway line runs to the rear at eye level with the common room, so, it can be noisy but they do supply ear plugs in you need them.

The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. I like that you have higher end products to use, such as hand and body washes.

I do feel like the price could have been about $20 lower even with it being in Chicago. It definitely think a bigger breakfast would be nice.

Room was very spacious. The staff was super nice and even took in my to-go food and placed it in my room.

I didn't love that I was on the bottom floor and could hear all of the people above me. The guest above me was walking around at 3 am constantly and I couldn't sleep well. Not the hotels fault though. Location was a bit sketch with all the crime in the area lately.

Location. It's in the middle of wicker park, el platform is close and the track is directly behind the building which is nostalgically speaking a city thing.

Turning on the taps and waiting for hot water is ok for me, I wish the water for my shower was hotter on a cool night in chicago. And of course parking...$45

the location was perfect ; walking distance to our family and great restaurants. awesome bedding!!

the mattress was kind of hard as were the pillows. it would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room and coffee pot.

Check in and use procedures were clear and useful. The decor of the room was a delightful surprise. This is by far one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Every corner was spotless and I appreciated that.

Excellent location, comfortable space, friendly staff.

The train traffic might be an issue for some people but we didn't have a problem with the noise.

It’s a lovely INN. Everything we needed was within walking distance. My first time in this area and we really enjoyed it!
