I love Nobu hotels primarily for their aesthetics. I love Japanese minimalism, nice materials and restraint in decoration. Comfortable, cozy, beautiful and friendly staff. The size of the rooms is optimal, the beds are comfortable. We left the hotel and thought it was so good. By the way, very tasty breakfasts and coffee in the restaurant on the ground floor.
late check-in and early check-out.

This was our second time staying in the Yubune King room which comes with a standalone wood tub. (Most rooms don't come with bathtubs.) We love Japanese Minimalist design. The bathroom was gorgeous and so were the views. The front desk staff were much friendlier this time around, too. There are many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. The Dyson hair dryer was a nice amenity.
In-room dining had a 20% service charge with a $5 delivery fee, excluding tips. There is no table, so we used the TV wall shelf with one regular chair and a lounge chair. The breakfast selection was extremely limited. Being from Chicago, the West Loop doesn't have as many CTA options as River North/the Loop. I recommend other neighborhoods if you're looking for a place near popular attractions.

We initially asked for a room more quiet and although the room was beautiful, it was the weekend (also, a festival was happening) and with that comes a lot of noise. Westloop became the small Meatpacking of Chicago where people party with loud music. When we mentioned the issue they looked into it and found a room on the pickleball side that was a lot more quiet. They didn’t make a fuss for the switch and the gentlemen even took the time to show us some options. We definitely appreciated the attention to detail and would stay here again.
The rooftop looks nice but you cannot just go up there and lounge to appreciate the settings, it is all reserved for the restaurant/DJ. It would have been nice to have a more generous open space that is not reserved for the restaurant for example.

Very minimalistic, yet sophisticated property in the best japanese traditions. Beautifully decorated and extremely spacious room with great views, in-room wooden bath with all the required necessities gives a feeling of staying at onsen, which helps if you'd rather be in Japan, but are stuck in Chicago :) Small, but well-maintained sauna and swimming pool on the ground floor - both were completely empty during my stay. Nobu restaurant is on the first floor, the food is amazing as always! Try their fatty tuna tartar with caviar - you won't regret it!
Would be nice to have discounts at the restaurant for the hotel clients

We loved the area that this hotel is in. The hotel restaurant is wonderful as is the rooftop bar. The staff were all very friendly.
Our only complaint, and it's a big one, was the noise (very loud music) that went on until after 3 a.m. making sleep almost impossible. This was definitely worse on the weekend. We had a city view room. Had our room been on the other side, we probably would not have heard it as loudly as it was coming from two clubs across the street. If you are choosing to stay at Nobu and are looking for an area with a lot of restaurants and nightlife it would probably be fine.

We loved staying at Nobu for a long weekend! We were in town for a wedding in Fulton market area and had an exceptional time. The hotel was located in the middle of everything and within walking distance to plenty of great restaurants, bars and shopping. The facilities were pristine and our room was very comfortable. The hotel was even able to accommodate us earlier than check in time due to arriving earlier than expected. We will definitely be back!
Given the location of the property it can get noisy at night. This really didn’t bother us but could be important to know for other guests.

Right in West Loop surrounded by many restaurants and shops
The front desk staff did not check with me if I have a reservation directly from them or through other booking agent, they just took my credit card and did not tell me any details when I checked out, they didn’t ask me if I’d like to have a receipt. A week later I saw on my credit card transaction that they charged me a full amount of the stay even though it was already paid in full way in advance prior to the stay. I had to take my time to call the accounting office to receive a refund. I thought it was unprofessional for the kind of hotel.

This hotel is in a wonderful location in the West Loop of Chicago. The property is relatively new and the interiors are decadent. While this hotel is a smaller boutique style version of most Nobu 's which are huge, it is sumptuous and cozy. You can tell the rooms were designed with a thought process for feng shui, etc. The hotel staff is lovely, namely Juan at the front desk!!!! I will totally be back to this hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting Chicago.
Hotel is a bit small, amenities like fitness were basic. No spa at the property... steam room is available but also quite small. Room textiles could have been a bit more luxe for the price point.

My stay was wonderful. I treated myself to one night in the Zen Suite for my birthday and I enjoyed every second. To the relaxing soak in the soaking tub to the cool environment at the rooftop bar. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Using arrival I was greeted my the wonderful front desk staff. In my room I had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for me wit a nice birthday card from the hotel. I was able to request a late check out time as well. I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my special day! The views from my room were amazing! Thank you Nobu for helping to make my birthday so special!

In room dining was good. The room is very good size and silent. Nobu restaurant and location for other restaurants is amazing, staff was very friendly.
In room dining nobu and sliders Ii ordered where cold. For that price you expect them to arrive warm. The room was not cleaned on day two, I decided to book an extra day and got no cleaning of the room. Asked to make up my bed and do the bathroom and this was not done. Also no cleaning brush next to toilet for the toilet. Now I asked two times to make up my room and all i got was three towels and some water. For this price and for the name NOBU I did expect the room to be cleaned. Also I looked for the sauna or steam rooms and could not find it near the pool, maybe should be better signaled. The staff was really friendly though.
