The location of this property cannot be beat to explore San Diego and you can do as much, or as little, as you want. The staff were exceptional - from the front desk clerk (Ben) who greeted you each morning with a big grin and wave to Keven who poured great drinks at the bar to Ethan who was attentive, but not intrusive, at mealtime. The Marina Suite that I stayed in was clean and comfortable and the view of the marina from the balcony could not have been any more picturesque. A nearby walking path (Bay Side Path) brought you down the peninsula on the bay side and an Ocean Front Path bordering the Pacific Ocean brought you back. A very nice walk for days when you didn’t want to stray too far. Great location, great staff ~ I’d definitely go back.

I wish they had an on-site coffee / light bites location that was open longer than what they currently offer, (it closes at 2 PM). Your only real options for dinner on site are both pretty pricey.

The front desk staff during the day was very helpful — especially in the morning when one staff member helped correct a room issue from the night before. The resort has excellent facilities and a beautiful atmosphere. The breakfast served at the Airstream was decent, and the food itself was high quality.

On the first night, we were given a ground-level room right by the main entrance, with cars stopping just a few feet away, making it very noisy. Despite available rooms, the night staff was unhelpful and didn’t resolve the issue until the next morning. I was charged a different price for the same breakfast order on four different days. When I asked about it, they blamed staff error but offered no refund or resolution.

We are currently searching for a location to host our annual anglers reunion & decided to stay at the Bajia to check it out. We booked a studio queen, it was waterfront. The room was perfect, it had a small shaded patio with view of the bay. room was spotless clean & the beds were.very comfortable.

There are only two things that possibly could be better. Check in is 4 pm, checking in earlier really helps seniors who's day ends a little earlier than the younger crew. Check ins of 12 or 1 would help a bit. The resident homeless population does pop up in the back of your mind concerning security of vehicles & anything left in the open.

We took our triplets to San Diego for the first time. Our boys, had a baseball tournament in AZ and we decided to stop in SD, on the way home. The kids had a blast at the resort. They played tennis, pool, went swimming, went to the near by “beach” and ran around checking out the sights. It was great, because we were only minutes away from Mission Beach and Sea World. We had great food , enjoyed their coffee stand by the front lobby, and relaxed in the hot tub. Our room was spacious, and had a nice view of the resort. Very peaceful. We will def return.

Location is perfect in Mission Bay and close to the ocean. Easy to get on the highway to get to town or any other San Diego attractions. They have their own beach on the Bay with chairs and umbrellas. The room is simple but comfortable. Bathroom is outdated but clean and functional. They also have their own restaurant. Prices on the high end, but good food and service. Great surroundings with a beautiful garden and three seals in their own pool.

Really there is nothing we did not like. They did not make the room after the first day, but it did not matter. They were not responsible for the morning fog! They had a convention and a marriage, but it did not bother the other guests as the property is so vast.

Location was great. It was walking distance from beaches, shops, and restaurants. It was a beautiful resort. Staff was friendly and was overall a great experience. There was plenty to do within the resort itself. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Definitely a family friendly resort, which is what we were looking for.

It was a great place, only feedback was that there was ants in the room. They were minor and would appear randomly, but that made us paranoid with leaving stuff lying around or leaving food on the counter. Other than that, it was great. They were willing to accommodate and change our room but we decided to stay since we had already settled in. I do wish that atleast a continental breakfast would be included for the price.

I loved the beautiful views and that it was so close to the bay.

I wish the staff would have warned me at check in that SeaWorld has fireworks every night that you can see... and hear. I had absolutely no idea so I had just fallen asleep and wake up to loud booms.... breathtaking but extremely startling when you aren't expecting them. The sliding glass door did not close completely to even when it was "closed" there was still a small gap at the bottom.

I love the bay front hotel options on the property. My room had a beautiful view and I enjoyed viewing that everyday. The property is in a great location, and it’s close to either walk to drive to other areas to eat or entertainment.

The room was pretty dated, I think it could use a more modern touch. It would look nice to see a modern classy look, or maybe even modern boho type of style. My lamps felt like they were breaking apart, one of my lamps didn’t even work in the room. Also. The restaurant that’s on the property could offer a bit more variety with their food options. Not enough versatile food on the menu.

Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy. We had a partial bay view which was slightly sheltered by a tree but we still had a view and also the fireworks from Sea World. The pool was wonderful and all the amenities on the private beach greatly appreciated. The food in the main restaurant was very good.

Disappointed in the food at the new restaurant on site. Food underwhelming although the prices were ok.

Our stay at Bahia Resort Hotel was absolutely perfect, making this family trip truly unforgettable. Located on the beautiful Mission Bay, the hotel offers a serene and picturesque environment. The room was spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with stunning views of the bay that made our stay even more relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Overall, Bahia Resort Hotel is a fantastic destination for a family getaway, and we can’t wait to return to this paradise!
