- great host, who knows so much about history and gave us lots of great recommendations for food and sights including a map and folders - excellent location as it is both close to Stratford-upon-Avon by car) as well as very quiet at night; - beautiful room and big bathroom; comfortable beds and cushions - we slept really well - wonderful delicious breakfast with many options (even including smoked fish and fresh fruits such as strawberries, grapes, apples). Alan even brought a lactose-free milk for me. Staying with Alan and Jenny is like staying with friends - should we be in the area again, we will certainly stay with them again.

It seems my initial review did not make it into print 🧐 Jenny and Alan were marvelous hosts…very real and personable!!!! Alan was the Master Chief in charge of the delicious breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, coffee, tea, and more in a gorgeous sunroom overlooking their peaceful garden. Did I say the bedroom and bathroom were immaculately cleaned? They were!!!!! The floors were 100 year-old refurbished…lovely. The windows were also worth mentioning as I took several photos from the bedroom window…a slice of Heaven. Thank you Jenny and Alan ♥️

We stayed for 3 nights from 12th-15th October. We were welcomed by Jenny who showed us our lovely room which was very clean and had everything you'd need. Tea and coffee were replenished everyday as well as fresh milk and water. It was a lovely warm room and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was made to order every morning with home made bread. Unlimited tea/coffee and toast. Alan and Jenny couldn't do enough for us and were really helpful. The location was great with two pubs only 5 minutes drive away. We were also five minutes from the park and ride into the city centre. We couldn't recommend this lovely B & B enough. Sarah and Mark Lewis

Charming property in a lovely location. The perfect location for us to explore the surrounding area including Stratford-upon-Avon, but just far enough away to enjoy the local countryside. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, as was the whole house. Our host was both friendly and welcoming, and also provided a splendid breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Larkrise B'N'B if you want quiet countryside walks, easy access to local attractions such as Stratford-Upon-Avon or National Trust properties.

Everything Was fantastic, could not fault anything, Room was spotless the bed was some size, king size plus, the lining was so soft & fresh & comfortable. Allan was a Perfect Host very pleasant & sociable & not to mention breaky was lovely, & Thank you for then Beautiful Bramley & cox's Apple off your Tree. Just to let you Allan, terry is going to make an Apple Crumble or Pie but will send you a photo. Sorry we never met your other half Jenny, hopefully next time. Thank You When We come back & stay witch we will, Terry asked is there any chance of black pudding for breaky if not is it ok to brings some its a Geordie thing & terry will cook it for you. Great hosts, so hospitable - great location (very quiet, very scenic, quaint property with well maintained gardens) - bed was very comfortable - room was an ideal size and very clean - breakfast was fantastic - would definitely stay there again (and would recommend it)!! Oh, and a 'bonus' was seeing a deer cross the garden on the morning that we were leaving!!

Only a minor issue, but the stair floorboards creaked, so early morning you could hear other lodgers coming/going. No biggie though.

Alan & Jenny were terrific hosts - friendly and generous with the suggestions on sites to visit. Alan had prepared a touring guide for recommended towns/items of interest and we found this tremendously useful. The breakfast was wonderful and more coffee & toast always on offer. It’s the little things that make this B&B a standout- Jenny’s homemade bread and Alan historical knowledge. Being greeted with “can I get fresh milk” on arrival back from a day’s touring and looking forward to an cuppa was outstanding. Our upstairs bedroom was spacious with king bed, tea & coffee making facility and ensuite.

Really well kept bed and breakfast with a very friendly host that was happy to help. The location was perfect for us as it was super easy to get to stratford upon avon from the B&B. The room was very tidy ans we had no issues with any of the facilities. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking for a weekend getaway.

Overall there wasn't anything that could of been better, all our needs were meet and we were not let down by anything.

Beautiful countryside and property. We were welcomed warmly, the room is bright with lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds. It is very peaceful with a gorgeous countryside view. Stratford-Upon-Avon is a short drive away. The breakfast was delicious and I really appreciated the gluten free toast (which I had requested ahead of time). Wonderfully friendly hosts who are there if you need them but not intrusive. Wifi worked perfectly, smart TV with wide choice of channels, little touches like biscuits in the room and fresh milk for tea (I hate the taste of those terrible long-life milk pods) oh and an amazing shower!!

I like the quietness most. Watching sun rose from the window of my room in early morning was so peaceful and soothing. Comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Both are with beautiful wooden windows, doors and antique locks. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in B&Bs. Eggs were from Alan's own hens laid a day before. And the Dickens's desk in the dining room was another attraction. A wonderful stay! Thanks to Alan and Jenny for the great hospitality!
