Perfect location just a short walk up a slight hill from the harbour. Very clean room, cleaned every day while we were at breakfast. Fresh cooked breakfast with a variety of choice.
We travelled with my parents (2 superior rooms) and one was bigger than the other. We May have just fallen unlucky but our room did not match the pictures on the website (size wise) We had a meal on NYE, lovely food, our only critique was at 11:50 the bell rang at the bar, we assumed temporary last orders before midnight but no the bar was closed. But we werenât told about this when we were asked if we wanted another drink at around 11:30 else we would have ordered a drink. Also 2 puddings were added to our bill that we didnât have but I guess thatâs easy done on a busy NYE.

Good location, visited the night garden of Heligan. Free parking, restaurant & Sky sports Tv as also wanted to watch the darts world championship final
The bedroom was missing a curtain to provide privacy when bedroom light was on of an evening. As a winter stay it would also help to keep the heat in the bedroom as not double glazed obviously as old premises. Nothing could be done for us as we were only stopping one night, so no time apparently to sort as we clearly only noticed this when we were getting ready in the evening. Restaurant prices were pricey for certain meals, not outstanding food. Cod & chips was ÂŁ20 with minted peas that were as dry as sawdust. Oven chicken supreme ÂŁ15 with seasonal veg & that was just curly kale, am sure plenty more seasonal veg to be found but not on my plate.

Last minute booking for 2 nights walking the coast path. The pub was excellent - staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast had an excellent choice. We ate in the pub both evenings and thenfood was of a very good standard. Our room was in a separate annexe to the Pub just the other side of the cobbled car park, which was quiet and peaceful. . The room was comfortable with nice touches such as bath robes and a coffee machine. En-suite was a little snug but ok for us.

Room was very comfortable and lovely extra touches like the sleep well box with earplugs and eye mask, pillow spray, slippers and robe. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious, fish and chips. I asked if they could do a half size portion, as the full size was enormous and they did, which some places wonât. Breakfast was also delicious and included in the price. Great location for getting to Eden Project and lovely 2 minute walk to the harbour.
The room overlooked the beer garden and there were no blinds so we had to keep the curtains closed. It was very noisy until about quarter to midnight when the pub closed and everyone waiting for taxis outside had left. Double glazing would be nice, or ask for a room away from the beer garden side.

I recently stayed at the Rashleigh Arms and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a very cozy atmosphere, making it feel warm and welcoming from the moment you step in. The location is excellent, providing easy access to nearby attractions and making it a convenient spot for travelers. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and I had a great night's sleep thanks to the comfortable bed. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would highly recommend Rashleigh Arms to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-located place to stay.

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely clean room!! They had thought of everything from bathrobes and slippers to a fan to an ironing board etc etc the list goes on, very good. Beds were sooooo comfortable. Breakfast was great lots of choice! Great location close to everything in Charlestown!! I would stay here again!
Nothing. Being picky the car park is very very cobbly uneven. But found out it's the only 'Listed' car park in the UK!! So they can't do anything with it. Although alot of cars parked in the onsite car park I parked on the road was no problems.

This was the best stay my husband and I had on our honeymoon in Cornwall. Charlestown is very quaint and the Rashleigh Staff upgraded us to a larger room than we had booked. We arrived all wet on a rainy afternoon and it was so amazing to turn the heat up, take hot showers, and relax over the tea provided in the bathrobes that were left in our room! We slept so well in the comfortable king sized bed and didn't want to leave. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and thought the food and service were quite good. We are both gluten free and they had a lot of options that worked for us.

The location is excellent, the room was good and we had an enjoyable stay. It was a very busy evening as it was the weekend that schools & work finished for Xmas but the check in process was excellently managed by the new hotel manager - he really went out of his way to get us checked in, show us our room and also get us a table for a meal that evening - he was exceptional.
The room was a little âtiredâ in places and a little modernisation/uplift would be beneficial

Although we only stayed for one night it had to be one of the standout hotels we have visited and without doubt the Best of St Austell breweries group of hotels. On arrival we were met by Ryan the manager of the hotel who gave us a good grounding of the facilities of available and organize the taxi for us to take us to the local rugby pitch for an end of season with Brixham. The room which we were escorted to in the annex building could not have been better with a view out over the historic Harbour and sea. Our twin room was more than adequate spacewise although the ensuite a little small. Following our visit to the match we returned to our pre booked evening meal in the restaurant. You need to book as it is very popular certainly at weekends. The menu which you can obtain online fulfilled everyone's dietary needs and we were more than happy with our selection. However if you can manage a dessert the Eton Mess is to die for. All in all a wonderful stay at a fabulous location with large cinema screens in the bar and a fabulous selection of đș and wine.
There was nothing we didn't enjoy about the Rashleigh Arms, indeed we will be staying there again as soon as we are able.

We booked lunch for day of arrival. Customer service and food were great, and we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. Initial room "mix up" but nothing too much trouble for the staff. Flowers and a birthday card for my wife was a nice touch too! We ate out in the evening at the Longstore but came back for night cap. Lively in the evening took us by surprise in a great way, Charlestown is a vibrant area and added to the experience. We stayed in the House across the way, superb room with all amenities. Car park was a bonus. Breakfast in the morning was again excellent and really set us up for our travel home.
Can't fault our stay. Staff were great from the welcome, to the restaurant and bar. Thank you for a really nice stay!
