The room had a double aspect of Green and road at side. The bathroom including a shower with hand rails and written instructions for operation of shower and non slip shower tray. Appreciated two chairs in the room and coffee table. Novelty with four poster. Help by Ken to relocate us and very helpful during our stay. Thank you. Well impressed with help from staff if had a problem. Breakfast was as much or as little as you would like and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all the Staff.

Switch to turn off light could do with being higher than the headpost in the middle of the bed. Needs a bedside light both sides of the bed. Luggage holder missing screws but managed to work.

I arrived with a group of others by bicycles. Fantastic secure cycle storage as promised. Super friendly staff, excellent value evening meal with a group of 13 & all meals came out within a few minutes, service & staff 100%.

We arrived cold & wet after a long bike ride, only 50% of group managed a hot shower the rest of us ended up with cold showers, water pressure in hotel obliviously if lots of guests showing at the same time. Also heating only working in half of the rooms & electric heater plug in my room was taped up with gaffer tape. Requested breakfast the night before for a group of 13 at 7.15am rather the advertised 7.30am, but chef wasn't up for it. On a plus side we ordered a 7.30 & all got our breakfast by 7.45am, breakfast & service absolutely great.

I came for the spa day, the food was lovely. The treatments were pretty good,

more water stations need to be around. Free tea & coffee would have been a nice touch. I thought the pool might have had more luxurious touches- it was very basic and could have had been better. i.e. one jacouzi isn't enough- someone was in there the whole time so we didn't get in. The steam room could have had eucalyptus - just some extra bits to make you feel like you've had a bit of luxury and someone cares.

I stayed in room 5 which look directly on to the green. The room was clean and spacious the beds were comfortable, the bathroom had both a shower and a free standing bath. Staff were very accommodating with me being 8 months pregnant, breakfast was cooked fresh everyday with plenty to choose from.

The decor is dated but that’s to be expected in an old hotel in a traditional town.

Close to Silloth Golf Club. Beautiful little location. Staff fantastic, Dinner was superb and only good place in town to eat. Great bar. In a hurry for breakfast and they made a breakfast roll to go! Room was quiet on upper floor #18.

Poor plumbing water pressure. Not much hot water at 5:30-6 a.m. Parking can be challenging on busy days.

Great location right in the heart of Silloth. No2 room was the best of the rest. Room very clean and the food was spot on with fast service

I am a man of a certain age and despite still feel fit,I found the stairs hard work. For the over 65's really could do with a lift. Hotel in and on the outside could do with a new lick of paint

It’s my go to hotel for Silloth, probably the best food in Silloth and reasonable prices for the food

Breakfast for guests finishes at 9:30 but they continue serving to the public until 11:00, I’m a late riser when I’m at an event in Silloth and would prefer to be able to have breakfast as late as walk ins can

Hotel is in a lovely location, being just across the green from a lovely pagoda and view of the sea. Staff are very friendly, and happy to provide directions to public transport - and even a USB charger after I'd lost mine! Breakfast options were good.

The room I booked was a little small, and dated in it's decor/facilities, but was expected at the price point. The bed was also a basic spring mattress with no topper, which some people may find uncomfortable.

Very clean and comfortable. Our room and en-suite was very spacious. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and food.

A little bit dated and needed a bit of TLC, but was clean and comfortable so did not affect our stay in the slightest.
