Beautiful apartments, modern and clean. Loved having the smart tv! So many hotels miss out on this. Close to everything. Breakfast being included was so handy. The restaurant staff were so nice! Pool and gym access. Will be back.

Only took off one point for the receptionist who checked me in seeming a bit annoyed that I asked about the deposit as I genuinely did not see it in the messages. And also not having basic things like salt, pepper, and oil in the kitchen :/ as I can’t buy a large one for 3 days stay.

A great clean cosy studio apartment with a panoramic city view, equipped with all mod cons including a washing machine, microwave, oven, normal oven hob, coffee machine, iron and ironing board and all cutlery plates and cooking utensils as well as a designated area for a sofa to watch a modern flat screen TV, And plenty of storage for your clothes. Close to all amenities and not far from the coach station. There is also access to a pool and gym.

There should be more emphasis placed on the benefits of picking a reservation time at check in for breakfast to avoid the breakfast queues especially if you have to leave at a specific time to get a coach or train. It would be good to give customers the customers to book breakfast reservation times on checking in. None the less the quality of the food and service by the staff serving breakfast was excellent. Also customers should be informed in advance that there is a safety deposit on checking in of £100 which is returnable to their account 5-10 days after departure to allow customers to budget for this in advance and make an informed decision of whether they can afford this or not and make alternative arrangements.

Perfect location right by the city center. If you're traveling via Manchester Victoria train station, it is a less than 5 minute walk. The gym has good equipment; offering a range of machines that target all muscle groups, a good range of free weights, and a nice cardio section that outlooks the window facing the city. Soundproof building, noises from outside dont seep in. There are no issues with noise what so ever at night.

I'm unsure if the aircon/ heating system wasn't working for our room or throughout the building, or if I just couldn't get it working right. Wasn't a big enough issue for me to raise to the staff. 9/10 because my partner thought the mattress was uncomfortable

Loved the Embankment Kitchen restaurant, the breakfast was outstanding, fresh, quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. and with loads of options on the menu. Friendly, and very attentive staff throughout the restaurant and a high level of customer service throughout. I wasn't happy with the finish of the room. It needed a "spruce up". Broken shower, damaged and Ill fitting kickboard in the kitchen, no shower anti slip mat, ( my partner nearly fell) No bathroom fan, so it became very steamed up in the bathroom. Our stay was for one night only, which meant it was bearable and overshone by the positive aspects. On the plus side was the location, walking distance from Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, and the Arndale Centre. The facilities offered at the City Suites are great.A 24-hour gym and swimming pool and spa facilities as well as bar and restaurant serving high quality, fresh ingredients throughout the year. All in all, I had a few minor issues, but I would definitely recommend the City Suites and would book myself to stay again.

Central location, near to Victoria railway station with trams and buses outside combined with a local Sainsbury's selling a good range of food to maybe cook in your well equipped kitchen washed down with a decent bottle of wine or visit one or two of the good selection of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. A five or so minute walk away on Key Street West just off Deansgate is in my opinion one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten in where the Chef owner produces some amazing sauces and flavours so save the Wah Ji Wah for your last night but be sure to book as it is not a big restaurant. All in all a great place to stay when in Manchester.

What's not to like? It's all good.

The best aparthotel in Manchester. Location is super convenient to most of the attractions and business district. It is very quiet at night and the bed is comfortable. I wish the pillows would've been a bit thicker. The views are amazing, especially from the top floors. The breakfast at the Embankment Cafe are superb, great choice and quick service. Members of staff all over, from reception through to cleaners and waitress are incredibly friendly, helpful and smiley. Cleanliness is beyond expectations. The pool is nice and warm, bubble bath is amazing! The room has everything you need, including hair dryer, kitchenette, ironing board and washing machine. Cutlery, toaster, coffee machine and microwave provided, too. There were slippers in the cupboard, too, and some rooms come with robes. Biscuits, tea and coffee on the table, with soap, body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. Towels were huge and soft, plenty of light and space across the room. Everything is brilliant, thanks you very much for your hard work keeping the standards at such a high level across the board!

The room was spacious, great facilities. Loved the fact that the hotel had a gym and pool - I used both. Loved the toiletries as well and the proximity to the train station and deansgate

I'd love if the gym had been a bit bigger or had more equipment. I find most hotel gyms are cardio heavy and in actual fact they would be so much better with more free weights. The curtain in my room was extremely difficult to shut and I was concerned I was going to break it with the force of my pulling

Excellent location, rooms were really nice and had all amenities needed, pool and gym an added bonus, and the Embankment restaurant is absolutely amazing, would defo stay here again even if it was to taste the food again, the steaks we got were delicious as was the tomato garlic bread, we did enjoy the 30% Restaurant January offer for this though but delicious anyways

Nothing really, just one slight hiccup with the parking, where we had to wait 15 mins for the concierge to let us out, after having to go back to reception to tell them we are still waiting, but we had no problems the other couple of times we needed to be let out during our weekend stay

The apartment was clean and comfortable, perfectly situated near Selfridges Manchester, Exchange Square, and an array of coffee shops, malls, and a supermarket. Decent parking options are available at nearby paid Q-Parks. The bus stop is right outside, and the tram station is just a 7-minute walk away. Breakfast is offered by Embankment Kitchen Restaurant, conveniently located in the lobby. The staff was friendly, and the room contained most of what you may need.

The air conditioner was not working, and although reception attempted to address it, they mentioned it required an off-site maintenance team that would only be available after our check-out. Additionally, the swimming pool was out of service.

The location is great, right near to Manchester Cathedral and Victoria Station. The building is nice and secure- you can only access your own floor using your key card. The apartment was like a generic city apartment, modern and without personality-- but that is what it's meant to me. The bath and shower were nice. There were enough kitchen appliances to cook a pasta tea. Sofa was comfy. There was a pool and jacuzzi which was also nice.

The pool was soooo cold! They should heat it a little bit. All the reviews said this and they were right! The breakfast was fine but should just be a buffet. Instead you have to to order a meal. The food was ok but didn't have much flavour. Plus they couldnt do oat milk lattes!
