Location, comfort, cleanliness, friendliness & helpfulness of some of the staff.

On most of the days we were there, the young lady who dealt with breakfast (welcoming guests in the dining room, taking their food orders & serving tea, coffee & meals) was doing this mostly alone. She was very efficient & always pleasant despite the pressure she was clearly under, especially when the dining room was full. We felt that more support was required, even with clearing tables - sometimes guests coming in for breakfast had to wait for tables to be cleared before they could be seated.

The staff were all very natural with the guests....I really noticed that. The food was very good, we had a dinner as well as breakfast and really enjoyed it.

I'm sorry to say that the small double bedroom which we had is not fit for purpose.... there's maybe 12-14 inches either side of the bed and less at the bottom between the bed and the wardrobe. The bathroom is lovely but it's design over function. If you have a shower the splash soaks the entire floor which means until it dries any toilet visits have to be done wearing shoes. There is no way 2 people can function together in this room especially when getting changed to go out. This room should never have been passed off as a double, I think it would be small as a single

A wonderful hotel, with very welcoming and helpful staff. A great location on the seafront, right next door to Venue Cymru and with its own car park. The hotel has been refurbished recently to a high standard; it has a cosy, relaxing bar and an elegant restaurant which offers a good selection of very tasty dishes for lunch and dinner. We booked a ‘double’ room for our first visit and although the room we were allocated (322) was absolutely tiny,(fine for a single guest but not really big enough for a couple to move around comfortably) the room was spotless, stylish and very well equipped with all the usual comforts plus air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. We would opt for a larger ‘deluxe’ room next time. Highly recommended.

Our room (109) was bright and sunny (no view, parking lot, but lots of sun) and spacious enough. As I still walk with a crutch I was very pleased with the recently renovated bathroom with nice walk-in shower. Apart from fridge and water boiler I liked the cookies and the bottles of mineral water. Air-condition runs very silently. We were also pleased with the vegetarian and vegan options at breakfast and dinner, the quality of the food was really good.

There were no shelves or surfaces in the bathroom where you could put down things. We mentioned that to management and its on their to-do-list, will probably be improved soon. We didn't like the coffee at breakfast (the only thing we didn't like about the food) and were amazed that a cup of cappuccino at breakfast is an extra 3 pound. For noise sensitive people: there is quite a big ventilation outlet on the rear side (at parking lot), the machine runs day and night.

Gem of a find. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Property was very clean and recently refurbished. Spacious room and en-suite. The chef produced some wonderful meals and personally catered for dietary requirements. The local Llandudno pale ale from the bar was very good. The hotel is ideally placed on the seafront and easy flat walking to the town, the railway station, the theatre next door and to the bottom of the Great Orme. Perfect place to explore the town and surrounding area and with the railway station and buses nearby, easy to get further into Snowdonia without using a car.

No complaints but would have liked a healthier cereal option like whole grain granola, muesli or bran flakes, but that’s down to personal taste. However, there were four options available which would suit most people.

After some initial confusion we were given a room above the bar and a complimentary drink in the bar to make up for the confusion which was a very nice gesture. The room, and indeed the whole hotel, was extremely tastefully decorated with a step down to a modern en suite. Everything was clean and modern and the room was big and airy. Despite being above the bar it was not too noisy and it was quiet and dark at night. Everything was spotlessly clean. The car park is a bonus in Llandudno. The staff were always very pleasant and extremely hard working!

One small niggle was no stand upon which to rest a suitcase. Another is that the bathroom radiator did not come on until 7pm after we had showered to get ready for the evening. The breakfast service could have had more staff to take the pressure off the single waitress

Room was absolutely stunning and extremely spacious! Lots of added extras in the room such as toiletries and bottles of water that came in handy! The bed was comfy and the bonus being able to control your own temperature in the room was an added bonus to make the perfect atmosphere. Lovely bathroom with everything you’d need. If you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend requesting to be on the 2nd floor at least due to the bar and restaurant music being heard if you’re directly above them. Llandudno is a special place to us but this is the first time we’ve ever stayed over. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and would absolutely stay again!

This hotel was stunning . From check in to check out . On arrival there was a disabled space for us to park on. The receptionist (blonde lady ) was so lovely and explained the hotel to us. The room , wow!! We had a twin room overlooking the sea. It was stunning. We had a huge round deep bath and separate shower , the decoration was beautiful. We had a fridge and phone with beautiful selection box with sewing kit tooth brush comb hand creams , all kinds . Milk on the fridge work great stock or tea and coffee with hot chocolate. Even binoculars to look out the window with . Had controlled aircon nd hearing too. It was a stunning room more like a little mini apartment. Lovely two seater sofa were you can sit and look at the amazing view . I can’t wait to go back again with my boyfriend. I was there for a treat with my mum for Mother’s Day . Highly recommend. Oh has a lift to all floors and the breakfast was beautiful over looking the sea out of the window. I’m very anxious and they helped seat us in a corner on our own as I hate being close to other people . They were so helpful for us.

Not stayed at Cae Mor before but was impressed as looked newly refurbished to high standard. Bedroom was large and bed was so comfortable, I don’t sleep well, but had best nights sleep in a long time. Large bathroom and great shower. Bearing in mind the recent refurbishment we felt the colour grey predominated and could benefit from breaking up with a large picture or two. This is a personal comment and doesn’t affect the comfort in any way. The room had a safe, ironing board, hair drier and coffee making facilities and the fridge was a nice touch. The breakfast was disappointing, well the full Welsh was, baked overcooked and hard, fried egg laid on top, possibly to disguise the bacon, large sausage didn’t have any colour so not sure how it was cooked, one mushroom lacked flavour, hash brown and tomato was best thing on the plate. Coffee served in teapot and very weak think it was instant, Eggs Benedict was tasty but lacked presentation, certainly not worth the £19 + per head if you were not resident in the hotel and definitely not 4 star standard. Handy car park and lift to all floors. A really nice welcome on signing in and we felt it was genuine. In fact all the staff we came across were really friendly and polite. The booklet in the room needed updating as some items looked like pre refurbishment.

The place was pristine, on par with the best hotels in Llandudno and very competitivly priced .The staff were very professional and pleasant ...great to have a side car park other hotels car parks are limited and round the back entrance

Maybe booking .coms fault but when booking online it has a feature where you can view the room you are booking..the room unfortunately was not the same ..still a great room but not the one online shown .I booked a sea view suite, massive with a living area a little disappointed it wasn't when I arrived ..
