Best. Stay. Ever. We loved every second, the room was so comfortable, the bath was so amazing, the location was perfect, and the hosts were absolutely exceptional. I’ve never stayed anywhere with such wonderful hosts, Ben and Michaela were unbelievably lovely, couldn’t do enough for us, really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and we had a perfect stay. Great to talk to, provided a wonderful comfy room, made a stellar breakfast every morning, full of super helpful tips on the best restaurants to visit, best taxi company to use, etc. - and, of course, we adored meeting the dogs. A really exceptional stay, truly wonderful hosts, we really hope we’ll be able to stay again in the future.

the breakfast was lovely. cooked lovely and fresh with lots of other foods to eat. variety of cereals , fruits , etc. the hosts were very friendly and the glass of wine was very well apprieciated after a long and difficult drive down to Cornwall in pouring rain. the beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and decorated lovely. felt very comfortable in the guest house and they made us very welcome and feel very much at home.

We loved this place. Michaela & Ben are really great hosts in every way. So much attention to detail at the property which has a very welcoming & personal feel. Breakfast was great and tailored to our preferences. The location was spot on too, just a short walk down into Fowey, it is on a hill & for us that was fine. Thankyou both for such a lovely stay & for being so attentive. We hope to see you again. (we booked the 'Rebecca' room)

We liked everything.

The hosts were absolutely lovely - you could tell from the moment we got there. Really friendly, offered us a drink when we arrived and really couldn’t do enough for us, including booking us dinner somewhere as we didn’t realise things closed by 9ish! The hosts have a separate living area and just let you come and go as you please. They had 3 dogs and 2 cats but they were very careful to only bring them out after asking if we were ok with that. We totally were - the dogs were really cute and well behaved, and my husband totally fell in love with Millie the cat! Breakfast in the morning was great - continental with a few hot items that were beautifully presented. We booked a suite because that was all that was available, which was two rooms and our own private bathroom across the hallway. They provided the world’s softest dressing gown to lounge around in/go in the hallway :-)

Nothing - it was all good! Was a little further away from town than we thought but 15mins is really not long and it was a good opportunity to walk off our multiple cream teas! I enjoyed it as the stars were beautiful round there - we ended up standing outside staring at the sky for quite some time!

Great hosts, so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, continental breakfast was plentiful. The location was a 10 minute walk down the hill to town, possibly 15 to 20 minutes back up 😄. Bus stop about 8 minutes away for the No 24/25 to Charlestown and St Austell or onwards to Mevagissey or Newquay, would recommend buying the £7 dayrider if you are using public transport, Par Station was a 15 minute bus ride or 10 minutes in a taxi.

Ben and Michaela went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Our event was cancelled due to the bad weather, so they gave us access to their personal DVD collection, put some beers in the fridge and extended my Step mums stay so she could enjoy the event on the second night. They even offered to collect my husband from the train station! Such a lovely couple who run a beautiful guest house. Crisp white sheets and soft towels. Immaculately clean room, bathroom and guest lounge where fresh fruit and warm croissants are offered for breakfast. It’s in a quiet street with an easy, short walk to the village. We will most certainly stay there again and would highly recommend it to others

Michaela and Ben made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. From welcome drinks in a cool, relaxing garden on arrival (much appreciated after a long hot journey) to booking us a table at a local restaurant, this all helped us have a totally relaxing break in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Fabulous views of countryside from spacious bedroom and it was so clean. Lovely couple and would highly recommend a visit.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival with a complimentary gin and tonic ! Michaela, the host, was warm and friendly and explained all the facilities - we even had the pleasure of meeting her gorgeous dogs. The room was very well presented, stylish and super clean. We stayed in ‘Rebecca’ which had a lovely countryside view and a great en-suite shower room. The breakfast/guest area had a fridge with complimentary yoghurts and extra milk surrounded by complimentary snacks and fruit. There was a small library in the corner and a chest of board games. Breakfast was amazing. We were expecting the usual continental offerings, however, there was an excellent cheese platter, warm croissants and rolls, toast with condiments and boiled eggs ! It was a feast !!

Hosts (Michaela and Ben) were attentive, available for questions about area, and were able to provide very helpful information about trails, restaurants, ferries, etc. Breakfast was first class, definitely got our days off to a lovely start. Cheerful place in a wonderful location for our needs - mostly day hikes on the coastal paths. Nice sitting area stocked well with books, brochures to complement the information package in the room. Nice space to read or just relax. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet.

Ben and Michaela are amazing and fantastic hosts, starting with a welcome drink in their lovely garden at sunset right through to helping you with organising your trips around Fowey in every aspect. The big and comfy rooms have a lovely view overlooking the hills at the coastside. Breakfast is fresh and yummy, there`s a fantastic selection of warm croissants, Muesli with fruits or scramled eggs and more. The 10 to 15-minute walk from their house, that is situated in a residential area with enough parking spaces, into the centre of Fowey is a little bit annoying, especially uphill on the way back, but there´s not a really good alternative, as it is a small town, parking spaces are rare and the public parking spaces are as well uphill. Their three sharpei dogs are really cute and welcoming as well, the bed and breakfast is named after one of them, "Wellington".
