Links to ICC by sky bridge Breakfast is good. Shower was strong and of good design.
No pad for writing, no pen, no writing paper or envelopes. I dislike pump action shampoo in bathroom. Lean taken too far for a supposed 4 star hotel. I went up briefly to get a pastry and when I can back coffee, orange juice and plate had been cleared already along with napkin. Over eager staff tells me they are pushed hard- uncomfortable hovering- needs to be more relaxed for diners.

We would like to thank you for a fantastic stay. Vinny the tech guy & heating guy, you are fantastic and great at what you do. To Kyle, Arthur and Falis, we appreciate you also. You provided an excellent service. To the lovely gentleman that created the spinach, ginger and pineapple in the mornings. You are amazing, that juice was absolutely delicious. Please make more...at all times lol. Also to the person that delivered an anniversary treat. Thankyou it was a lovely surprise. And last but not least, Gabi at the front desk. What an amazing representation of your company. She went above and beyond to help me at check in and throughout our stay. Cant thank you enough. Really loved the lounge access through out our stay aswell. Was really worth it. Thankyou for a lovely time. If you are thinking of staying here, don't hesitate. And enjoy a fantastic experience as we did. Appreciate everything room 2406 Tony

always stay at the Hyatt when going to concert at Sympathy Hall so convenient & lovely rooms
no problem with property only the breakfast. unfortunately my friend ordered a waffle which was so hard she couldn’t get her knife in it. she also from the buffet bar obtained bacon & mushrooms to go with it - both of which were inedible. when the waiter came & could see from her plate what she had left asked was everything alright she answered no, same reply to other staff members who enquired. they did offer to get her an alternative but by this time she had gone off the whole idea so declined. £24 was quite excessive for a cup of tea & a sausage which was the only thing she could eat. first time she had been there - pity as I use it frequently.

Gabi was so welcoming and so kind to us on arrival. - She is a true asset to the hotel - Please can we also thank Marina for her wonderful service in the restaurant - She & Gabi really are the most professional and friendly people we have met on our travels. The hotel is a really great and enjoyable space and perfectly located - the rooms are very clean, beds are superb - the food and bar are equally superb - This was our third stay here - and we wouldn't go to another hotel when we visit Birmingham - Thank you all the team and a big thank you to Gabi & Marina for your extra special effort. See you soon !! Jan-David & Caroline Burton x
Nothing - it was all superb

Excellent customer services by all staff
I was unfortunately bit rude to a brother behind the bar but I do repent and he was in the right to make a complaint I shouldn't have been out that late at night 🌉 please pass my apologies to the Portuguese bar staff this is wholly my fault for flicking the fag box at him I can personally come in to say sorry if needed, if he accepts please wish him happiness in his career and future endeavours from me and all my family and friends that visit Hyatt worldwide and especially in Birmingham also if I upset anyone else during any business meetings I profusely apologise

The hotel was fantastic. Had a lovely room on the 23rd floor, overlooking Birmingham. Room was clean and comfortable. Used the bar, which was lovely, friendly staff. Check in and out was seamless. Breakfast was good.
The only issue we had was seating at breakfast. We went to breakfast quite early (8am) on Sunday, it was quiet, with only a handful of other guests dining. We were seated on a table for two, which was quite close to the table next to us, but it didn't matter as there were so many tables available no-one would need be seated next to us at that time. But the next lady who came in for breakfast (about 5 mins after us) was seated right next to us! The other guest requested to move as even she felt that it was too close for comfort. Not quite sure why the Restaurant Supervisor would do that at such a quiet time, and the restaurant wasn't even 1/4 full.

The hotel is in a great location and is generally still very impressive despite being 35 years old now, the rooms are large and nicely decorated and the staff were all very friendly, the pool and spa are also a bonus
The bathrooms in the rooms are looking very dated now and need refurbishing, although they are clean. The spa could also do with freshening up a little, some small changes could make it look a lot better. The pub also need s refurbishing as it looks old and tired, the mens toilets were terrible, although my wife said that the ladies were new so perhaps the mens are on the cards to be refurbished.

Staff. Food. Swimming Pool. Rooms. Location. Outdoor bar area.
Late night drink would been lovely. We wanted a hot chocolate with baileys in to go to bed. Gutted this was not possible. Also didnt like being asked about 4 times if we wanted to pay for our breakfast while we were eating. Breakfast expensive, but nice , but we felt like we were almost expected to do a runner for how many times we were interrupted on conversation asking if we wanted to pay. Very intimidating . Little things like having the baileys would of been nice. What really brassed us off was by the time we got up to our room- we intended on hot chocolate and movie. The TV constantly kept turning itself off while we were watching.. We eventually gave up deflated! Shame really everything else was nice but this did spoil it a bit. Wouldnt expect this from a good hotel.

I love this hotel, literally one of my favorites in the world, having known it for years as a (very) occasional visitor. Everything about the building is super, with one minor exception (see below). Everything, without exception, is super about the staff, from cleaners to reception, via the splendid doorman and the lovely waiting staff: they all seem like old friends, not least as almost all of them greet me by name every time I see them! It's always spotless, everything always works and everyone always wants to keep guests happy... The location couldn't be better for me. Almost part of the Symphony Hall, where I'm invariably attending a concert, and right by the tram stop from New Street Station.
I hate non-opening windows, though I grudgingly confess that the forced-air ventilation system here almost converts me! Slightly more importantly, I wish there was a flexible hose on showers rather than a fixed pipe. Make of that what you will! I know it's petty, but you did ask. My response is an answer to your question and absolutely not a complaint...

The location was perfect for the Symphony Hall where we were going to see a band. Beautiful exterior & interior ground floor surroundings. Friendly and very helpful staff from the concierge to the room service & bar staff. Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Lovely big bathroom with all the extra little touches. Food delicious, we ordered the nicest club sandwiches I’ve ever had. Nice comfy chair & footstool plus a desk & chair.
Parking is limited but we were lucky at 3pm on a Friday to choose from 4 spaces. In room dining service is pricy ie 3 slices of toast at £6.50 (the first plate was returned as it was damp & soggy (wrapped in a cloth napkin piled on a plate - condensation) although they rectified it quickly. Plus £5 tray service. Only one bathrobe (didn’t matter to us but might to others)
