From the airport one could use Metro , about 25 minutes to Mall of Emirates. The hotel is just a few minutes walk on smooth road, The is very popular for the expatriates living and traveling with enough of everything and not too Large compare with Dubai Mall which is solely for the Tourists. We take a high class taxi at Cruise port and it cost 120 AED, for smaller taxi only around 80. The location is quiet, clean, newly completed resident district, there is a high quality supermarket just 20 meters away. The room we were allocated is large (60 sq. m.) +for Hong Kong people. Build in with an open kitchen provided everything we need for cooking and a washing machine! Two bath rooms with bath tub, toilet, paper, bath soap, shampoo, and lotion. conditioner. Huge sofa, 38-40 in. TV with connections to BBC, etc. The Hotel may be consider as a little old fashion but make us feel comfortable and they keep it clean and tidy. There is not much view from my room but the sun rise is beautiful. I enjoy the swimming pool at the roof top which is around 20 meters long, which is rare for a medium hotel. But I di not use the Gym. The sunset view at around 5:13pm is wonderful. The pool opens 9 to 9, I hope they could open it at 7 am so that we could have a morning swim before going out, instead of rushing back early for the sunset swim. I must extend my sincere thank to the staff at Reception, The manager allow us early check in without additional charge, the Bell Boy is excellent. He was very helpful, cheerful and kind. Look after us like a family member. For example, walked us to the car-park to show us the way, advised how to save money to travel, gave his umbrella to us in the thunderstorm and help us with the luggage. Our last day, he was on leave, one day before he arranged a taxi for us and asked the the other bell boy to help us to handle the luggage!

Of course, there are rooms for improvement, one table lamp switch is out of order, the TV manual guild is outdated, the handle of the cooking pot was not tight, the curtain not smooth, the instruction for the washing machine and air conditioner is lacking. ( I was a electric technician and I need a long time to notice the small arrow near the switch!!! In sum, it as an outstanding Residence Hotel just a few steps to become Excellent ones...just pay attention to details!

The room was comfortable, there was plenty of kitchen equipment for those wishing to self-cater, we ate out most of the time, only eating breakfast in the room, the beds were very comfortable, and made up daily. The bathrooms were ok, the one in our room looked very aged, the hotel is located within walking distance of local supermarkets and the large mall, you do need a taxi to get around, use the app Careem, this is a very good app for booking taxis, restaurants, etc. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, we lost a camera on the 2nd day, they went out of their way to help find it, we were able to collect from a taxi company on route to the airport on our final day, we would defiantly use this hotel again.

Our only gripe was the bathroom, although we used the shower, the bath looked to have several cracks, putting us off having a bath.

swimming pool and gym are excellent and the cleaning staff are really very thorough. and I never normally notice that, so they must be good!

food choices are a bit limited. but then the fact I can cook in the kitchen makes up for that

Big apartment, two bedroom, two bathroom (they were a little bit smaller then I expect and too old, need renovations), big living room, good big kitchen Washing machine was good Cleaning was every day, it was good enough

the refrigerator is leaking, the repairman came and the leak became less. So it was not a big problem old bathroom
