The location is great, as it's very close to the Ephesus ancient city (3 km), to the city center and also the temple of Artemis is quite close. The room was equipped with everything needed, albeit small, so don't bring too much luggage. There is ac if needed. The best feature of the hotel is the rooftop terrace, which has a nice view of the surrounding area and where breakfast is served (and its quite a good breakfast). I must add that the hosts made us feel welcome and helped us with everything we needed. Also, parking is available on the street nearby.

There was nothing not to like.

The family that runs the place is laid back and kind. They are close to the Selçuk museums and historical sites, and 5 minutes from the dolmus stop to Ephesus. Water was hot with good pressure, breakfast had tomato, lettuce, fried bread, and eggs. Bikes available for rent for €15 euro daily/bike. Bed was very comfortable, AC was strong, and the roof terrace is lovely. Harry (owner) even gave us a free room upgrade because it was available and he thought we’d be more comfortable! Be sure to check out his carpets for sale—they are lovely pieces of high quality art, actually hand made, and at the best prices we saw from Antalya to Istanbul. He ships them, too, if you’re traveling light. Thanks for a great stay!

We had no issues with our accommodation which was outstanding. Prices for the historical attractions nearby are mad.

Not to bad but for improvement -Toilet have bad smell even it is very clean. Maybe have to put some gel perfume to absorb bad odour.

The location is excellent—within walking distance of the main sights in Selçuk and just a 10-minute drive to Ephesus. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding service. Harry and Ataturk were fantastic hosts—warm, attentive, and full of helpful recommendations that truly enhanced our experience. The room was comfortable, with a well-functioning AC, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was a lovely traditional Turkish spread, and the rooftop is beautiful, offering stunning views of the area. We highly recommend Anz Guest House. We had a wonderful time and are truly grateful to everyone there for making our stay so memorable.

The location was great, just a short walk into town for dinner. The room was great for our family, quiet setting, comfortable beds and perfect room temperature. The breakfast was the typical wonderful Turkish spread with a lovely view from the rooftop. What made this stay special was the warm hospitality from Harry and his son. When Harry learned of our plans, he even called over to the Ephesus ruins to check on closing times since there was some confusion over the times posted online. We also visited the local Turkish spa, recommended by Harry's son. Overall it was a very pleasant stay with an incredibly warm and friendly host family.

Extremely friendly hosts who speak English exceptionally well. They can help you with anything around Selçuk including where to best get the dolmus to ephesus. They have books on ephesus in many languages. We took one and it was very informative. They kept our luggage for free when we went on a two-day trip to Kusadasi. The room was small but functioning and clean. Nice bed, ac and warm water. We got a free welcome tea on the rooftop terrace as well as a good breakfast in the morning. Absolute 10/10!

The location was great... easy walking distance to almost everything I wanted or needed. The host was excellent looking after every need and provided great insights for exploring the area as well as places to eat, setting up a great tour for me to participate in, and directions to local amenities. The awesome breakfast on the upper terrace offered good views and a great atmosphere for starting the day.

Just wished I had timed it better so I could have stayed longer!

Place is set up to be community oriented for travelers. The owner is a super friendly man who will sit and chat with you over a cup of tea or leave you to your business - whichever you prefer. The location is very close to all st. John's church and the castle, plus there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. If you're interested in carpets or kilims, the owner can let you know what to look for and also has a collection himself.

Room was a bit small and shower slippery.

The warm welcome and sociable atmosphere of the guesthouse as amazing. I stayed in two rooms over 10 days, comfortable beds clean and fresh linen.As a guest house thr rooms were not cleaned each day but it was easy to ask for fresh towels and bathroom waste bag to be emptied. Room staff were always willing to help. Bathrooms worked well. Breakfast time was extended to 10 and there was a large plate of cheese,fruit,egg, breads and spreads. Tea, nescafe and filter coffee to drink. The very comfortable roof terrace was accessible all day and from 6pm tea, coffee, water, beer and raki were available.A great place to chat with other guests, of all ages, exchange info and play backgammon or cards. Harry,the owner goes the extra mile to make things work ai8nd Ari his son a warm and gentle host, And Mooghly,the dog!

Pros: - family run establishment and that was also the feel of the place. Lovely people. - room was very clean and comfy, but in my mind suitable only for one person with luggage. - big and tasty breakfast was served at roof terrace. - located in a quiet residential area. Street side parking was not a problem, but when busier it may become a challenge on narrow streets. Location was perfect for my sightseeing purposes (all amenities are a short walk away). - really good value for money

Cons: I had not understood how pleasant city Selcuk is and I only stayed for 1 night.
