The service here is next level. The staff can’t do enough for you. From the moment we arrived at their private pier in Koh Samui, we were treated so well (highly recommend the private transfer that you can book on their website). We went for the sea view villa plus and it’s the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. Pure luxury and relaxation. We both got treatments for 2 out of the 3 days we were here with a check in promotion they had on. We both loved it! This is the only hotel abroad we’ve ever come back to twice (we love going to try new places- this place cannot be beaten for the price in our opinion though!) The little village down the beach is amazing for authentic non touristy Thai food. It really feels like you’re away from the crowds but with decent food and iced coffees nearby! The village is really lovely and would recommend you go there for dinner.

Nothing not to love!

Loved every minute of our stay here for our honeymoon and they made it extra special. The hotel is huge which we did not realise until we got there. We stay in hotel 3 which has a private pool for the hotel with an incredible view. It is also where the gym is and it was the best gym in our entire 1 month stay in Asia. The sunset from the room was also amazing. Bed was comfy, designs of the rooms were traditional. They provide a free 24 hour truck ride from the reception to your room which was also amazing. Other reviews have said it is hard to get to the next beach because of the rocks and barbed wire however, they have sorted this out and the pathway is safe. It is only a 2 minute walk across the rocks to the next beach so do not let these review put you off. Would defiantly come back again.

Breakfast could have slight more variety as changes every other day but there was a huge amount to choose from.

The resort is very nice. it feels in a funny way that you are at th White Lotus. Once you are in, it is difficult to get out as there are so many amenities. Thé food they serve at breakfast is quite good. Thé pool in the room which at first feels a little over the top, is actually very useful after a long day in the sun. The room was super comfy and the bamboo clad bathroom very exotic

Thé fact that you have to call the reception every time you need to access every hotel amenity so they can pick you up in a beautiful wooden car and drive you everywhere is a little exhausting in the end. Next to the hotel beach which is beautiful but not the best for swimming there is an incredible postcard beach. it is accessible through the rocks in the right side of the hotel beach and it takes 3 minutes to get there.

Honestly from the start of our customer journey, Santhiya really blew our expectations off the roof. They were helpful on communications prior to our arrival as well as during. The resort is absolutely magnificent, the traditional Thai wooden architecture blends perfectly with the jungle surrounding it. You truly feel at peace in this resort, the pool suite sea view is exactly as the pictures show, we do recommend sea view as there is a lot more privacy then you’d have in the garden view. Now onto the employees, coming from a hospitality background, I must say we were so impressed by the attitude and kindness of the staff. Yes, it’s standard in Thailand for employees to be extra kind and nice, but something about the place and its people was just amazing. Special mention to Bruno who did an outstanding job at directing us through the hotel and our room, and Joel (not sure if I’m spelling it correctly 🫣) was our FB attendant twice and was really sweet and attentive to our stay. Overall, anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious stay should definitely visit Santhiya. We have made it our mission to visit all of the Santhiya resorts in Thailand. 🥳

We had the most perfect honeymoon stay at Santhiya! Our room was absolute stunning, so well appointed with great amenities. The resort was spotless, with a great range of activities and food. This place is paradise. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly - service was great, nothing felt like too much to ask. They were so professional, as you would expect from a resort of this standard. We had fantastic massages by the lovely ladies in the spa. There was loads of evening entertainment, from live music, to traditional dance, to fire shows on the beach. Santhiya is a must-stay, we are already planning on coming back!

Santhiya is a stunning and truly luxurious resort surrounded by nature and set right on its own private beach. The property is huge yet beautifully maintained, with a perfect balance of comfort and traditional Thai charm. Our villa had a modern Thai design with lots of beautiful wood details, a private pool, and great attention to detail. The beachside restaurants offer amazing views, and the small cars that take you around the resort make it easy to get anywhere. Everything is done with great respect for nature. Breakfast was plentiful, the staff were incredibly friendly, and communication via WhatsApp made arranging anything effortless. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Koh Phangan.

The resort’s secluded location means it’s not the easiest to access — it takes about 35 minutes to reach the ferry port, and the nearest village is a 10–15 minute walk away. Personally, I didn’t mind this at all, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer to be closer to town.

We loved everything about the resort. The villa was stunning, from the comfortable bed, the enormous bathroom and outdoor shower and bath, the amazing plunge pool, the presentation of the room every day and the kind touches and gestures, the wooden look of everything including the cars, the wonderful staff who were always smiling and helpful, the yoga classes, the stunning beach and swimming pools, the incredible spa and the wonderful treatments we had, the glorious breakfasts and other meals and the general welcoming vibe and the peace of the place. We stayed at a beautiful and romantic wooden villa with a large private terrace, a private pool, an outdoor bathtub, a fantastic and very large semi-outdoor bathroom, a very comfortable bed. Very clean and well maintained; the villa alone is worth the trip and the price. The staff is outstandingly warm and welcoming. The resort is so incredibly beautiful that we never went out in three days. The beach is amazing and swimmable, and there are free SUPs and kayaks. The included breakfast was delicious, varied and abundant. Additionally, our rate included a 1,000 baht credit per day to spend in the restaurants. Room service is very fast and well executed. The massage by the pool is extraordinary.

Some common areas require touch ups. There are a few visible spaces cluttered with working tools, ladders and buckets, which could be stored away for a cleaner sight. A lot of wires and pipelines are visible on the side of the roads, which could be hidden with minimal effort. As a hospitality professional I detected several opportunities to improve the service sequences, standardize processes, and smooth friction points such as the check in and check out. With a little more training and clarity of expectations, the wonderful staff could take this property to a whole other level of luxury.

This place is amazing, loved the traditional Thai feel of the resort. The views from our room were spectacular. The food and facilities excellent. It was a very short and easy walk to the neighbouring Thong Nai Pan Noi Beach. This area of the island is like being in a movie scene, tropical and stunning island life. We were high up on the hill side, the resort provides cars to drive yup up to and down from your room. They operator 24x7 and you never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for the car to arrive and take you where you need to go.

Nothing to note here. Can't wait to visit again.

The hotel and villas are absolutely beautiful — exactly like the photos. The property is well-maintained, with great facilities including a relaxing spa, a private beach, and kayaks available for guests. The breakfast was good, and the staff were mostly helpful and friendly, especially those who spoke English. We especially enjoyed our stay in one of the older villas, which was in great condition and had a lot of charm.

We stayed in two different villas, and surprisingly, the newer villa was in worse condition than the older one. The wood was worn and it just didn’t feel as well maintained, despite the higher price. Also, while most staff were friendly, communication was sometimes difficult with those who didn’t speak English. Overall, the hotel is on the expensive side, and the newer villas don’t seem worth the extra cost.
