Fab bungalows in a great location. Although some bungalows are in a better position than others. We like area no. 3. The complex is very quiet and not many people sit around the pools. Probably because each bungalow has its own sun loungers. The bungalows are fairly well equipped and spacious. But one of the stand out features are the staff. I have to give a special mention to Olga on reception who bends over backwards to facilitate every request. And is so friendly.

There is very little to dislike about the property. But while it’s lovely to have the sun on the terrace it’s a pity the bungalows are not equipped with parasols to provide a little shade.

We stayed in 802 and overall had a lovely stay. Check in was easy and we were taken by bus up to block 8 which was really helpful. Pros:The apartment was spacious inside with a lovely sized terrace outside. We didn’t use the pool but our terrace faced the pool and everyday of our stay, the pool seemed quiet and not very busy. Location was great, few minutes walk to the beach and to a decent spar & HiperDino near by for essentials. Sun-loungers provided in apartment for use on the terrace were lovely to have. We’d happily stay again :).

Cons: Kitchen utensils were a bit limited. Block 8 is far from reception and the furtherest block from the beach front, not a huge issue for us but just be aware how large the apartment complex is - it’s spread over a huge area. We found the hot water to be a bit tricky, there wasn’t always enough for each of us to have a shower so would have to wait a while to for more hot water. Apartment did feel quite dated and would benefit from a refurb but we were still happy with it overall.

The whole set up was verry nice ,comfortable and clean

They have a serious issue with flies,i was bitten so many times sitting on my terrace and my friends but i took no well the day i was leaving and now i am in hospital with celulitis. I think this is a serious issue for the hotel that needs to be addresed immediately

The las gaviotas was excellent..we were in block 4 last year..and loved it..this time we were in block 8..it was a fabulous view from the patio doors .but It was a bit too far up for me.because of mobility issues....although by the end of my holiday I was getting used to it..to be fair....the staff are wonderful..especially Loury and Catherine " cathy"..we were well looked after by them...thanks girls xx❤️❤️

Only the path outside our bungalow..which was a bit of a trip hazard..BUT not the fault of the gaviotas..that's a council issue...oh the bedding..towels etc great..but only my opinion the bed could have been better with a matress topper...

Bungalow was brilliant with a super private patio garden with our own steps down to the shared pool. Spacious, nice bathroom the whole place was much bigger than we anticipated. The location was great, 5 mins away from the lovely beach and a fab selection of restaurants and bars. Within easy reach of the busier Puerto del Carmen for a livelier night out. Also Matagorda is on the pick up route for the tours eg submarine, volcano.

Super nice! We were pleasantly surprised even above the photos with everything. Really happy overall and wickedly close to the airport (about 12€ by taxi which could be ordered quickly from reception)

The only thing I’d say is that I am allergic to dust and mold and something was making my allergies go off there. My best guess is dust in the mattresses. Beds overall were also too hard for me, but that is a matter of preference :) But aesthetically everything was super clean and we had a great stay!

The apartment was exceptionally clean and offered great value for the price. The superior room we stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, with easy access to the pool. The location, close to the beach, was perfect. The staff were friendly and ensured that the rooms were spotless. I highly recommend Gaviotas Apartments for a wonderful and relaxing stay in Lanzarote.

It was difficult to arrange a late check out, and we had to book an extra night in the room to ensure we had somewhere to stay before heading to the airport for a late flight.

To have to pay to hire the safe is very disappointing these days. 80 euros for a late checkout is very expensive. no wine glasses in the apartment..

Reception staff are the most pleasant and most helpful staff I've ever came across.we stayed in 3 different sections section 1 is perfect along the promenade very close to spar ...section 7 about 7 minutes walk from the reception few steps but beautiful apartment section 8 5 minutes walk from reception also beautiful apartment overall had a delightful stay...

The staff were very helpful and friendly; the position of our bungalow; the cleanliness of our property, the pool areas, the cafe, the gardens were beautifully kept. The location - next to bars, restaurants and supermarkets - but nevertheless very quiet at night.
