I stayed at Hotel Noy for four nights as a solo traveler, and I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. The location is great — close to the beach, with plenty of nearby markets and restaurants to explore. My room was cool enough even without using the air conditioning much, which was a nice surprise for late September. I especially appreciated the blackout curtains that kept the room dark for good sleep and the big showerhead — little details that made a difference. It was also quiet, which helped me truly unwind. Housekeeping came daily if needed, and they provided not just fresh towels (even though I was staying alone), but also a small dental kit with a toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as soaps and essentials. For the price, I felt it was genuinely good value for money. Breakfast wasn't included, it costs 12 euro and usually had the basics — eggs, pastries, bread, cheese, ham, bacon, small yogurts, and fruit like apples, oranges, and melon. For me, I did find myself wishing there were a few more options, especially some fresh vegetables, but it is enough for many travelers. Not a deal breaker. Still, everything is tasty and staff very helpful.

There wasn't anything major i disliked. One night, I could hear the nabour through the wall speaking on his phone. That bothered me. But other than that, none I can think about.

Excellent staff, very friendly and professional, specially David at the reception, always helpful and friendly. Clean and spacious rooms, modern , good design, nice comfortable terrace, good views to the garden and quiet. Location is excellent, nearby the beach and restaurants, market...etc. We defenitely are coming back to the same hotel, Noy. Great experience, the hotel, rooms and bathroom are very clean. The day you leave, you can leave luggage during the day and then, they offer a courtesy shower when you come back from beach, if you need to.

Friendly staff, great location, just short walk to the beach and amenities. Everything on your doorstep and quiet even though my room faced the road (I went in off season). I got a little upgrade on arrival which was nice. The entrance was very welcoming with a lovely scented smell as you walked into the hotel lobby. Amazing sunsets and sunrises in Almunecar!

Soundproofing of the rooms next to each other. First night was quiet as I assume nobody was in but the second night I could hear voices and noise. Unfortunately I got a couple who liked to chat til late and wake up early chatting too :(.

Professional, welcoming staff who were excellent representatives of the hotel & knowledgable on the area. 24 hour reception was welcome & seems to be a rarity now in the smaller hotels across Spain. Rooms were lovely and exceptionally clean. Daily cleaning schedule. Central location, close to beach, restaurants and walkable for all monuments & places of interest. We used the hotel laundry service as this was our 3rd hotel, so needed clothes washing, it was an excellent service.

As a coffee addict it has to be the absence of a coffee machine or a kettle. A big issue for me. Husband got coffee every morning from hotel breakfast room but it just wasn’t enough. For context, Hotel Noy operates on the who ground floor of an apartment/block. This means views are of a block of apartments opposite which for me, meant we kept the shutters down half way for privacy. The gardens at the back between buildings is lovely though. (Take mosquito spray if relaxing on balcony).

The staff were very friendly and helpful.Service with a smile. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of food. Coffee was Nespresso (capsules). I'm not a fan but everything else was fine. San Christobal is a nice area of Almunecar with a good beach and close to the town centre. I woild have no problem recommending Hotel Noy as an ideal base gor anyone who wants to explore Almunecar and the surrounding towns and countryside

Great place to stay! Super friendly and attentive staff, clean and cozy rooms. The location is perfect — close to the beach, a beautiful park, and a supermarket. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is right nearby. We’ll definitely come back!

Nice breakfast, but limited variety The food is delicious, but the breakfast menu could offer a bit more variety. A few more options would make it even better!

The staff were very friendly, utterly helpful in suggestions where to eat at night & sites to see, and very efficient at running an excellent hotel. Probably the best I've stayed in ever. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from a very well kept & clean beach (note a stony beach, as the sandy beach is another 15 minutes walk away), 10 minutes walk from a large supermarket and two very fine seafood restaurants.

The staff should think about putting larger liquid soap dispensers in the bathroom (possibly attached to the wall & refillable as I've seen in practically every other hotel). The small bottles of gel they had placed there were insufficient to give oneself a good soap down (especially after spending time on the beach).

The hotel is new, I really liked the location, literally 5 minutes to the sea. Also all the necessary shops are close by. The room had a lovely bathtub and overall the room was quite spacious. There is a hairdryer, small fridge and everything that was generally needed. The hotel itself is located as I understand it in an residential building. We had a small terrace overlooking the courtyard. So there was no noise from the street at all. The room itself was clean, no issues with the housekeeping either. Breakfasts at the hotel are pretty basic: an omelette, a couple of sausages/bacon, fresh juices, sausages/cheese. All quite tasty, there was also a great coffee machine. The bread did seem a little too stale. Overall if the goal is to have a hearty and quick breakfast, it's fine. We were overall very pleased with our stay, the small downsides are completely overridden by the lovely staff and beautiful fresh hotel.

There were no slippers or house dressing gowns in the room. The floor in the room was made of tiles. We do not walk around the room in street shoes, so it is quite uncomfortable without slippers. The hotel itself I think has some problems with noise insulation. The neighbours were watching TV the night before we left and it felt like it was in our room. The sound of other rooms' doors closing will also be overly loud.

Comfortable hotel. Exceptionally clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again and would recommend.

Room was fairly small with only one mirror. Room was located on the same floor as reception. The balcony looked over the road. It wasn’t great for sitting out on as there was road noise and you are quite close to passers by. Car parking close to the hotel is challenging too.

Friendly staff. Very clean room. Quiet. Simple, quality fittings, great shower. Walking distance to beach, just a couple of minutes. Free street parking.

All rooms are ground floor as the floors above are residential apartments. Ours had no balcony and iron bars in the window. Nowhere to dry beach towels or swim suits.
