The room was perfect, a big bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The balcony was a fun addition as well. The restaurant and the bar were magnificent, very nice staff and the Brutus beer was very tasty! Lots of facilities nearby and the beach was only a 5 minute walk. Only thing that would've been nice, is a mini fridge for some evening drinks when the restaurant is closed but it hasn't been a necessity.😊 Will definitely be back the next time I visit Almuñecar.. Definitely worth more than 2 stars in my opinion!

The reception staff are to be congratulated on their excellent English and welcoming demeanour - really a pleasure after a long bus journey. The chef at the restaurant is also to be congratulated ! The Milhoja de Rabo de Toro/Ternera (?) (Millefeuille of Oxtail and Potato) was really top class. My wife had another truly excellent slow-cooked dish, I just forget the name of it ! So rare to see slow-cooked dishes on a menu. We had a couple of great bottles of wine also. The whole thing was great value for money. If this were a Michelin review I would give the restaurant a 'Bibendum' at least ! Thank you !

Staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Room was clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a standard Spanish continental type and everything was well presented and tasty. Price for 2 nights including breakfast was excellent value. The hotel has undergone a refurbishment since our last stay which has been done well so far and we would certainly recommend it as a good short stay hotel.

Nothing to dislike except the refurbishment so far has not included the desk and chair and bedside cabinets which although perfectly usable do look old fashioned. If these are modern in style then the hotel should be considered for a star upgrade.

Amazing location on the corner of the old town, castle and a park, 3 minutes walk to the beach. The hall and cafe are bright and spacious with a clear modern design. Staff was adorable. 24 hour reception and check out at 12 is another huge plus. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious with big comfy beds, walk in shower, plenty of towels. Good coffee.

My room had a small window to the inner patio which smelled of sewage. They kindly gave me another room to a back street which was great. There was however a faulty exhaust in the neighbouring building running for hours at night that can be heard in the entire street. No Wifi in my room. Overall I loved the hotel and for the price with some small improvements it could easily be outstanding.

A pleasant, well kept hotel on a quiet street leading down to the beach. There is a bar/restaurant for breakfast, and also a lift. Rooms are simple, but clean and generously sized. The reception staff are friendly and very helpful. The botanical and sculpture garden nearby is well worth a visit. It's just a minute's walk away, and features the Roman ruin of a fish salting factory, along with modern sculptures and a variety of tropical trees and shrubs.

A mini fridge in the room would be nice

We had a wonderful experience during our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the location ideal - just a short walk from the beach - and the staff truly made us feel welcome with their friendly and attentive service. Although we didn’t use the pool, it was well-maintained and inviting. Overall, everything was excellent, and we would definitely choose to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Clean places with a central location. The pool on top was lovely, we had it to ourselves and it overlooked a botanical garden!

The only problem was that I don’t think the air conditioning was a proper AC unit which resulted in me and my partner getting a bit ill from it after a couple days of using it

Lovely hotel in a great position for everything. Next door to a beautiful park. We will definitely return. The staff were so helpful and courteous. Lovely large bedroom.

One complaint only. Would be good to have a small fridge in the room.

The staff was incredible! Very welcoming, happy to help and went out of their way to provide us everything that we asked for (blanket, iron...). The room was basic but very clean and well kept

Sometimes we could hear the neighbouring rooms and the corridor but everyone was very respectful and we weren't disturbed during night

Next door to the Park that was hosting the gastronomy festival—which was why I visited. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony and able to check in a bit early. Breakfast was good too. The 2 women working reception were the best! Very patient with my bad Spanish and both spoke English perfectly.
