Loved the location. Right opposite the beach. And right next to the Boardwalk Mall. I also liked that there are 3 restaurants on site to take care of ones food needs. The staff were all very hospitable. Ever ready to help their guests. Towel changes every single day. Very unlike other hotels who tell you to hang up towels of you are not needing them to be washed. The check-in & Check out process was smooth. Upon checkout (before 6am), an on the go snack was available for taking. Apparently, this is available for guests who would potentially leace early for tours and the like as well. A cup of coffee was made for us by one of their staff. This was really appreciated as well.

There was a problem with us not having hot water on day one. But this was resolved efficiently. With no issues for the remainder of the trip. I would recommend that the vegetarian hot foods provided at breakfast be kept in separate containers. And not next to fish and sausages as I found daily. As people mix up spoons, and people sometimes drop gravy and/ oil from the meat side going into the vegetable side. So this was a bit difficult for us, being vegetarian. I am hoping that the next time I come here, that it would be normal for them to separate vegetarian foods, making it easier for people following a vegan/vegetarian diet.

Ordered an Omelette which was made to my liking and very tasty. The rest of the food was also very good. Loved the fresh sweet melon and watermelon. Location of restaurant is central in Hotel with a great sea view should you prefer to sit on veranda.

Would have liked coffee or tea to be offered at the table as there were a few troublesome flies and one couldn't dare walk away. Its to be understood that flies were present as the restaurant is open plan. Fresh napkins were not available at table but one could get serviettes where the bread was close by. Besides these minor items the experience was absolutely wonderful.

A delightful old styled hotel with spacious rooms (we paid upgrade for sea view). Gingers restaurant (part of the hotel) was good and food excellent as was the Buffett style breakfast and the Veranda seating for a coffee. We managed a couple of walks on the front, but didn’t travel more than a mile and half each way as didn’t feel comfortable after that. A very nice, although not that biog, Boardwalk shopping Mall is next door which is nice and includes a few shops, resonates and a good super market,

Whilst the location was good near the summerstrand and beach, the area and unfortunately most of PE was not clean, nor safe which dampened our stay. (It also rained the 2 days we were there! Our shower was powerfully but difficult to control the temperature.

Room was clean and spacious, comfortable bed! Appreciated the aircon, and spacious shower. The block out curtains were great too! Having space for suitcase, having a mini fridge, a desk, hairdryer - all convenient. The Veranda restaurant and bar were great. Nice food, drinks and service.

Waited over an hour to check in, despite being told I could check in at 2pm and I had confirmed that I would be arriving at 2pm. Cleaner was asleep on bench in downstairs ladies bathroom when I arrived. With another cleaner with her bucket against the door making it difficult to get into the downstairs bathroom (And reason for using the downstairs bathroom was because I was still waiting for my room to be ready)

I enjoyed my stay at The Beach Hotel. It's very convenient location wise, and the hotel itself is right by the beachfront and next to The Boardwalk Shopping Centre and Casino. I only stayed for 1 night, but I was happy enough with everything. The room is nice and big, though the bathroom was kinda small. But it was clean and crisp and very nice all in all. I slept well as the bed was comfortable, and the room was nice and dark thanks to the heavy curtains. The common area are really great too. Lovely places to sit and look out over the ocean. And also plenty of places to eat within the hotel or out. The breakfast selection was a feast! It looked fantastic. All in all a wonderful place to stay.

I am not sure if it's the section where my room was (around a courtyard), but every time someone flushed a toilet in one of the other rooms, the noise of the plumbing could be heard quite loudly. As if it travelled all through the other rooms. It got a bit annoying when trying to sleep. The carpeting throughout the hotel needs to be replaced desperately. It looks like the same carpet they had when they first opened. Grimy and worn out. Not a great look for a upmarket hotel.

Stayed here many times over the years,always like the old feel of the hotel.Breakfast was nice.Like the cashless idee!No problems with service or friendliness..nice secure parking and location is good with lots to do and places to eat in walking distance.Ginger the restaurant is excellent as always..had a perfect steak and the other food was good as well.

I think the carpets in the hallways downstairs need a clean ....also the towels in the bathroom are really not white anymore or soft and look frayed.The outside balcony of the rooms floorboards can really be varnished...they are an eyesore.Is there any way all the cables that one see when you sit on the balcony can be disguised?Perhaps that roof can be coated with something so it looks better on the eye?

Everything was perfect, you cannot ask for a better location. Walking distance to the shops and beach. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Nothing to complain about, the room was perfect. But think next time I'll ask for an upstairs room or a room facing the garden or side of the hotel .I had a sea facing room downstairs. It was facing the street, so I couldn't really open up the curtains completely to enjoy the sea view. Other than that everything was perfect. Will stay here again. Very friendly staff. 😀

I opted for a slightly larger room - this was a quiet, which is important for light sleepers. The bed and pillow were comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast was a very nice spread and the staff were attentive. The hotel is just across the road from the seaside and right next to the local mall, so you can always pop over there if you needs something. There are three restaurants at the hotel - I tried two (not the fine dining one) and the food was decent,.

The wifi in my room was terrible - I could connect (eventually), but the signal was so weak that data barely dribbled through and I ended up having to work in the hotel lounge. My room just seemed to have been too far away for good signal - they did look into it, but it was not resolved by the time I checked out.

For my wife and l, it's reasonablely close proximity to the airport is a huge plus as was the friendly, efficient service at reception, the rooms we stayed in on this trip were lovely, clean, comfortable and well appointed ( rooms 1 and 2). The Ginger is a superb restaurant, we especially love the wine selection.

The service on the veranda is somewhat lacking, at times it was difficult to get a waiter despite the fact that there was only 3 to 4 other people on the veranda or inside the lounge., this was a repeat of our experiences on our trip last year. The sofas on the veranda were very dirty, and dropped food was left on the floor under one of the tables, very much at odds with the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel.

I loved The Beach Hotel from the friendly gate security to the Receptionist, waitrons and Manager. Truly professional service. The room was immaculate and the bathroom and ablution facility spotless. The quiet and serenity was truly priceless. I will surely recommend the Beach Hotel not only for their Bed and Breakfast but also their Boardroom Facility Buffet Meals and Lounge area and outside Garden facility.
