The breakfasts were outstanding! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for more pillows and got them quickly.

With an email before we arrived, I had requested decaf coffee to be available in the morning. The first morning it was not. I asked for it and got it about 20 minutes later with breakfast. The second morning it was available at 7:00 am, as requested. The third morning it was not available again and I finally got some with breakfast. It seems like such a small problem but with a heart condition like mine, you can’t drink caffeine.

Great location, quiet as we were toward the back. Walking distance to restaurants, easy drive to wine train. The room was spacious.

We didn’t realize until the 2nd morning’s breakfast how the service should have been. It may have been staff were overwhelmed by quite a few guests arriving at 8 AM our 1st morning but we had to ask how breakfast would work since we waited quite some time. The food, however, was delicious both days. All other services met our expectations.

The location of the Inn on First was perfect! We were able to easily walk to so many places in Napa. The property is beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the afternoon cookies were a nice treat. The room was spacious and comfortable!

The bathroom was a little small and could use some love (paint peeling). Not necessarily something we didn't like but a suggestion would be to have games to play on that gorgeous downstairs table. Maybe we missed them and if so having them pointed out would have been nice.

Great sized room with a nice seating area and fireplace. We enjoyed the quiet location and its proximity to downtown. For the most part we left our car behind and explored on foot. The breakfast was good and we appreciated that it was freshly made.

Only wish the weather was better so we would have had an opportunity to sit outside. The mini fridge made some noises, but it wasn’t enough to complain about.

We love the large, comfortable room, the friendly staff and the delicious breakfast. I literally dream about their breakfast for weeks before each trip. This weekend included Chilaquiles, omelettes and a unique New Orleans breakfast with sausage, grits and biscuits. They definitely send you off to your first wine tasting full and happy. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

Room was large with a charming private patio. Breakfast area was a lovely outdoor space that is beautifully landscaped. Rooms had outdoor entrances. Property was very safe, well-lit, convenient parking and an easy walk to downtown Napa

The only thing we didn’t like about it was having to leave when our trip was over 😉

Loved this property - made our Napa trip so much better! The home, grounds, and room with balcony were perfect. Nice comfy bed, clean bathroom. Music playing in the lobby made for ideal ambiance. Very nice to sit outside in the morning for breakfast.

A little bit of a walk away from main stretch of bars and restaurants (sweaty on a hot day). Room layout is very interesting with a large tub in the room. We didn’t really interact with anyone because we checked in relatively late.

Beautiful and private

The bathroom is integrated into the room itself - there’s no separation between the bed and the bathtub- all in one big room (the toilet is thankfully behind a door in a tiny separate room). The entire bathroom are and tub are white tile. The cleaning staff uses VERY strong bleach to keep it clean and the smell of bleach made it hard to sleep. When returning to the room, we were hit with the smell of bleach immediately and had to open the windows and balcony door to air it out.

Breakfast each morning was delicious. The cooks and staff were great. The location was good - close to downtown Napa. I able to walk to the Riverfront and all the shops in that area.

I wish there was an ice machine in the lobby/dining area. It'd make getting an ice bucket easier than making sure to ask the staff for a bucket. I was able to grab one that the staff would leave out but there was a limited quantity and I feel like an ice machine could make that more readily available.

Conveniently located near downtown. Breakfast amazing, like eating a nice home cooked meal. It felt like staying at a friend’s house. Nice homey feel.

My only feedback: if the shower could have some curtains, so people outside don’t get a free shower! Also the bathroom door kinda dragged a bit, hard to open and close
