Everything was fine, the room was clean and quiet, friendly staff, lovely terrace in the back garden with a shed for bikes - big plus. The parrot was also very nice.

The room gets very warm in summer and there are no flyscreens in the windows. So to get fresh/cool air by open windows you have to welcome the mosquitos.

Everything. Location, perfect, easy to get to, parking nearby, central but close to a train station and a big canal/river in front of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice room with wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast could not be faulted.

Location just opposite the station was fantastic. Modernised but retains character. Bar area particularly nice with seats outside front and back for good weather.

Very small single wardrobe with only four hangers, too small for two ladies for a weekend let alone any longer stay.

The room was large enough with lots of storage space. Location is excellent. Public parking right across the street.

The bathroom was literally next to the bed, separated with only a glass door. This made bathroom activities a bit awkward.

I am coeliac and the lovely staff at breakfast found and warmed delicious rolls. Position was perfect as Middelburg is a very walkable, stunning city and we had the perfect base. Beautiful views from our window added to the charm. Great bed!

Well located, pleasant staff, hugely comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast and easy parking.

My room (217) was bit of a faff to get to with a heavy bag. Take the lift to the second floor, up a step, down a corridor then bizarrely down two flights of stairs to get to the room and then of course having to lug bags up two flights of stairs to get back to the lift when checking out. Tiny shower room.

Friendly staff, the wonderful view of the room and location.

The bathroom is a bit too small and the shower box has a small glass wall, allowing the water to spill outside when you're taking a shower.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean and it's in a very good and quiet location. It's certainly a hotel I would return to if I was back in Middelburg.

Very little, aside from being unable to prevent water in the shower splashing across the rest of the bathroom floor (hardly a major issue). It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea/coffee in the room, but this is not as common in Holland as in other countries.

The location is convenient, and the staff members are friendly. The room is equipped with necessaties and clean. It has a nice view too.
