Owners Petra, Stefan, and daughter were so lovely people. We got fresh strawberries too on our check-out - thank you Petra. We felt so welcome and supported - we enjoyed the chat plus the guide booklet and extra tips were very helpful. Our room had a nice view of the city center. Since most of what we wanted to see were walking distance, we enjoyed the walk to the city center and other parts of tge city. The train station was just close by too.

Our experience turned out to be great. This is just to share that it was our first time to book an accommodation where the owners also live downstairs. At first it felt awkward. But, in the end it turned out into a very nice experience. It was an opportunity to meet and interact with the owners and even with the other guests. Indeed, it didn't have a tv, but it was nice to be off screen , we get to enjoy the room and appreciate the view from the windows.

The location is an easy walk from the train station and the main town centre. Loved overlooking the canal and watching the Dutch live their lives. Petra and Stefan were great hosts who gave up lots of “local “ hints such as where to hire reliable bicycles, where to do a scenic walk of the city and also other places that were beautiful to cycle to. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Stefan even carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The room didn’t have a TV which would be useful on rainy days when you are confined indoors.

Central located, beautiful house renovated with passion, room to the front offers a great view on Middelburg. The room was big and furnitured with a mixture from historical and modern style. Thanks to very friendly Petra and Stephen who gave us much useful information where to go out in Middelburg and Walcheren, we spent an awesome time. If going there the bike is the best way to get along on the island.

We loved it here! A beautiful room with the most comfortable bed (I slept so well) and table and two chairs, tea and coffee making facilities and a splendid bathroom. Stefan and Petra are fabulous hosts and are most helpful. The location is ideal for exploring Middelburg and surrounding areas. The view from the window is wonderful. Thank you.
