The staff are wonderful, multilingual and very helpful. even carried our cases to the room.. Despite being a 17th century building, with some quirky aspects, it felt more homely than any of our other bookings on this trip to France. the proximity to historic(Joan of Arc) landmarks is exceptional, everything is within a 10-15 minute walk the city of Rouen is very busy by day and the roads around the hotel are very tight, parking is usually limited, so the off-site, underground parking is a must, it is 2-3 minutes away. Breakfast is an 'all you can eat' continental breakfast buffet, open from 7 until 11 am, served in the charmingly quaint dining room.

the 'modern' furniture and fittings seemed more 'tired' and 'dated' than the french vintage furniture, a slightly paradoxical thought process but generally; No negative comments

The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Staff were friendly. I liked meeting Mimi the cat. Breakfast was good but I wish there had been some fresh fruit

I didn't like the location of the hotel much. It's within walking distance from all the major attractions but the street it's on is not very nice. I arrived at 10pm when it was dark and I felt a little uneasy walking there on my own. The little attic room is completely open plan so the toilet, shower and bed are all in the same space which wasn't really a down point but I found it a bit weird. The sloping ceiling meant I had to walk around whilst bent over

Excellent location. We parked out front on the street. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly and provided us with detailed information about our stay, along with a fantastic dinner recommendation that truly enhanced our experience. The morning breakfast was a highlight. Not only was the coffee superb, but the spread was varied and delicious. The historic ambiance of the breakfast room added a charming touch, making our morning even more enjoyable. The blend of convenience, warm hospitality, and delightful dining makes this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting Rouen. We highly recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a memorable stay.

I had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect, with everything within reach, and it was really quiet at night. The place was spotless and seemed to have been recently renovated. The smart TV was a nice touch, and the bed linens were incredibly soft—made for a great night’s sleep. The owner was very helpful, providing useful tips for the area. The breakfast was delicious, included everything you could need, and was also very affordable. Great value for the price! Plus, there’s an option for discounted parking just across the street, which was really convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional property. Old world charm. Excellent location. A few minutes walk from train past 13 th c Joan of arc tower and beaux Arte musee around the corner. Staff warm and welcoming. Room modernised basic but very functional. Very clean. Super comfortable bed pillows and linens with white fluffy towels. Very quiet. Great nights sleep Wifi fast. Would very highly recommend. Very good value for money.

I loved the stairs. They were very special. But not for folk with heavy luggage. Minor point. Bathroom super clean. Does not need bright blue toilet cleaner. Not environmentally friendly. It is horrifying how many unnecessary chemicals run into our water ways.

Hotel Morand is beautifully situated, neighboring the Musee des Beaux Arts, and within an easy walking distance of the principal attractions of Rouen. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (they even offered to carry my luggage upstairs) and were very patient with my limited French. I enjoyed a complimentary breakfast every morning in their beautiful and cozy dining room. This place is an incredible value and will allow you to experience the best of Rouen even if your time is limited. It is also not far from the Rouen Rive Droite station. The location, price, and service make this hotel a gem you do not want to miss.

This Hotel is in the ideal location for wandering around sightseeing in the city and the room was fine for an overnight stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we asked for a recommendation for somewhere to eat for an evening meal. The suggestion 'Pascaline' was superb - just 5 mins walk, traditional Normandy menu, 29€ for 3 courses. There was an an excellent spread at breakfast - cereals, pastries, breads, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurts, fruit, hot and cold drinks. I would certainly recommend this hotel. Parking available nearby - Hotel provides the ticket (15€ for 24 hours)

All was fine

The staff there was super nice and helpful! The room was clean and the beds were confortable. The breakfast had a lot of choice and it was great. They have an aggreement with a parking lot 5 mins walking from the hotel and it worked perfectly fine for us. There's a super friendly cat at the reception, his name is Mimi, and he loves cuddles!

The only thing (not really an issue) is that they forgot to fill up the shower gel bottle in the bathroom, but not really an issue since we had our things.

We liked this hotel simply because it was old-fashioned and traditional with many period features - a great change from the modern style of all chrome, glass and plastic. We also appreciated the friendly, attentive and helpful staff. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was great with a huge range of food. Location was excellent - all places of interest in this beautiful city were within an easy walk

Maybe a hot food selection for breakfast, but as mentioned there was a large selection of cold food

Great location. Comfortable bed. Clean. Exceptional staff, which is why I'm rating it higher than I normally would 😉. Perfect for a short stay in Rouen and good value for your money.

A bit noisy here and there, but manageable. Some furniture is a bit worn. The corridors look much worse than the rooms themselves. No lift—not a problem for me, but I can imagine some people might complain about it.
