Amazing hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The front of house manager Leslie went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our anniversary stay. The customer service from every single member of staff was phenomenonal. everyone was so friendly and attentive (gave a feel of being abroad how people wait on you and genuinely care) the facilities were great, aesthetics were beautiful, cocktails were very nice, food was very tasty! Breakfast was also lovely, plenty of choice. I highly recommend this hotel would 100% return thank you to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable!!
Cutlery in resturants could do with polishing would give it that extra touch. Also breakfast plates could be a little bit cleaner lots of water marks, finger prints etc. But other than that can't complain

Staff were very friendly & approachable, from cleaning, restaurant to front of house. Public areas very nice. Well equipped spa and gym (even though we didn't use them) Restaurant superb. Appetisers were super nice. Good vegetarian options. Room adequate, good amenities. Nice walk round the area to BomBoms coffee and cake.
Not sure whether we stayed in an Executive Double Room as we had the opportunity to book this type of room. We stayed in Room 186. It said that it was on the checking in screen at reception but it didn't seem big enough. It was OK for our stay though. I (the husband) found the bed to be rather firm, but that's my preference. My wife liked it. The room could have been cleaner as we saw cobwebs on different parts of the ceiling. My wife would have liked sanitary bags in the bathroom. There didn't seem to be a lift to rooms and our room was close to another flight of stairs rather than the one nearer to reception, but we only found out late in our stay that we could use this to reach the restaurant, etc. quicker. No signs showing where this flight of stairs led to.

I never leave reviews, but this hotel was honestly SO good that I had to! From the moment we arrived in the really well decorated reception, greeted by really friendly staff we had the best time! We hadn't eaten before we arrived and expected to have to find a local take away, but instead found the most beautiful restaurant at the hotel. The menu is 50% vegan which was an added bonus. The food was fantastic and the prosecco was even better! We then went onto our room and found it to be newly decorated and super comfy! We slept well through the night and enjoyed hot showers in the morning. We went out to explore Loughborough and all it has to offer (a museum, monument and town hall...oh and a beautiful market), before coming back to the hotel to use the spa facilities. Again these are mostly recently redecorated and great for just relaxing. We went out on Saturday night and enjoyed cocktails, snacks and local beer in a few different venues. All the locals were friendly and we felt perfectly safe out in a town we weren't familiar with (although we were back home before midnight). The next morning after another good nights sleep we ventured to Nottingham (about 30 minutes away) and saw the Robin Hood statue, Castle and the oldest pub in the UK. Another lovely town!
The jacuzzi was a little cold and could do with a clean, but nothing enough to put you off or stop you from relaxing. It was fine, just compared to how perfectly renewed everything else was, it was noticeably 'older'.

Breakfast was good quality, plenty to choose from. The room was comfortable and clean. Considering how large the restaurant is, it had a nice relaxing atmosphere. Dinner was very good and and the staff were polite, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff, house keepers, reception, bar and restaurant were professional, polite, helpful and we received a great level of service for our length of the stay. We do a lot of traveling and stay in many 4star hotels and this certainly one of the best. We had a great weekend and It a pleasure to have stayed at the Burleigh Court.
Nothing.

Room was very nice & clean. Big enough for myself and daughter. We were given a cookie when we checked in which was a nice touch. Breakfast was really nice good variety inc vegetarian options. Bed was comfortable.
The initial check in is a bit confusing. There are laptops set up on a desk when you walk in but no sign to say that was the check in area. Staff came over promptly though and explained what to do. I don’t mind using a laptop to check in just need to put a sign up so it’s clear that’s the check in area. In the room we could hear a noise like a generator that kept going off intermittently for quite awhile. It stopped eventually.

I stayed at "The Link" Hotel near Loughborough with my wife for one night, keen to go for a swim the following morning I asked at reception where the nearest pool was in relation to the hotel, the front office staff informed me that I could use the facilities at "The Burleigh Court" hotel as this is a sister hotel to "The Link" hotel. As keen as mustard, I was up at the crack of dawn, walked from one hotel to the other located on the Loughborough University site, and enjoyed a 2-hour swim. The facilities I used, wet changing room, and pool facilities were perfect, clean, well-staffed and safe, (lifeguard) on duty within the adjoining booking in office, where there is a vision panel through to the pool area. Payment for swimming is in the pool facility itself not in the main reception area. Walk through and pay pool side.
Nothing, it was all to my 100% satisfaction.

the hotel is nicely renovated, just on the university campus so if you are going for a visit this is a great place to stay. there is also restaurant and they were just opening a new one as well, food was pretty good. rooms are nice size and comfy
the staff are super rude, they basically don't say hi when you walk in or check in. they have this weird "self check-in" thing and i promise the man working there would not speak a word to help me out or anything, it was so weird he just kept looking at his phone or computer screen. you know it is not a crime to make your guests feel slightly welcomed right. also i thought the place was bit too expensive for what it is but i guess they know there is not much on the campus so they charge bit extra.

bit thrown by the self check in screens, but a very friendly and helpful staff was there to assist us and help when our request hadn't filtered down to the front desk. She fixed it with out any issue and even walked us to the room. Which was just fine. The breakfast room is an amazing space, very well designed and decorated. The leisure manager was really proactive and helpful and the pool a really nice layout, with sauna and jacuzzi all working and also a lovely environment. Decorating spot on, staff spot on. Tech all works, Breakfast amazing. Would definitely return, especially for the deal price we paid.
The impersonal arrival meant that you had to scan qr codes to find simple information, like the pool times and had to rely on tech to find restaurants (none nearby) and services. The biggest issue was the limited access times for children in the pool. This is not mentioned on booking.com or on the QR facilities page. It is a postscript to the opening times on the website, but easily missed, especially when using the smaller screen. Kids can swim from 10-12 and 3-5pm or something.

They've renovated the front part of the hotel and it's really nice. Lobby, bar and restaurant are really really nice. It's clear though that it's the hotel of two halves and the bedrooms and spa facilities are not renovated. Hopefully this is part of their plan and this will be done. Can't fault the staff and the parts that have been redone. Great value for money. If you can do the bedrooms and spa facilities, then it's an amazing hotel. Thank you
Bedrooms and spa facilities. Spa facilities are very grubby. Pool tiles are grubby and pool lights were falling apart with two being held on with tape. Changing rooms aren't very nice either with an unhygienic shower curtain in the showers and overall very grubby

We had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and the food was good. The dining area used for the breakfast was lovely. Very friendly. The lighting and surroundings were great. Most people stayed after breakfast to continue chatting to whoever they were with.
I didn't like the check in. When entering an hotel it is so nice to be greeted by smiling staff and we were but they were there to show you how to sign in on a PC. This is too impersonal for my liking. The staff who met us were excellent and so helpful. My husband and I are in our late 70's and early 80's so found signing in annoying. Our two grandchildren just wizzed through it and though nothing of it.
