No sun loungers or comfortable outdoor seating at the villa - just hard plastic chairs Can’t just go for a couple of drinks at the on-site restaurant - must order a meal if you want to go there

- The pool when few people or only families with children were there - The area is nice. Beaches are just a short drive away and Montpellier and Carcassonne are within driving range. Also a lot of Wineries in the area

- It was dirty. When we entered the house wasn’t cleaned at all, after complaining they started to clean. And even after the cleaning it was still dirty with dead insects on the walls, black mold in the shower and bath and we also had to clean the Microwave before use. - ants everywhere (even frozen in the freezer and in the dishwasher when we arrived) asked to spray them but no one answered. - the pool was at some days a true Anarchie with young people trowing balls everywhere, jumping in the pool next to others etc. - the beds (mattresses) have had their best days years ago. - one key (also to use to enter and leave the property) which makes it harder to split as a family

The fact that we had a kitchen and a place to sleep. The location of the stay, nearby Montpellier + Sete.

The basic amenities. There were no trash bags, toilet paper, towels, or soap, and we had to make the beds ourselves. The air conditioning only worked partially. The garden was very neglected. The spaces were unhygienic. There were no storage areas like closets or anything where you could put your belongings. There was no Wi-Fi even though it was mentioned in the advertisement. The exit of the appartment area felt unsafe because one step outside the area and you were on the street where cars pass. The bottom of the pool was covered in sand, and the pool chairs were broken. The snackbar was not what we expected, very poor in services. Cleaning costs 6euro per wash..

We stayed in the "maisonette" which is basically two rooms with a bathroom in between. We reserved for 4 people, it was supposed to have "two large double beds". One of them was 180x150cm. Any smaller, and it's not a double bed. The other was a convertible sofa. If you opened it, you couldn't open the door anymore. There was a cupboard with nothing inside (no bar to hang anything off of, no shelves), just a massive electrical boiler, that switches on and off every 20 minutes and is noisy 24 hours a day, next to the main bed. I think the worst part was the ventilation. Each room just has a door to the outside, no windows. The to only way to get air in or out is by opening those. There are walkways outside with people passing by, so it doesn't seem safe to leave it open during the night. You don't leave them open when you're not there either. Even when you are there and awake, if you are sitting on the sad little concrete square in front, then you don't want anyone to be able to walk into your back door. The only way to air the bathroom is by opening at least 3 doors and it smells correspondingly. No way this place deserves 3 stars. I would go with 1, and I still wouldn't rate it favourably. 3 stars is a sham, especially at the price of a good 3 star hotel. We paid 240 euros for one night, 4 people.
