It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel, from the moment you enter the Auld Mill House Hotel you will be welcomed and looked after into this family run clean hotel by the hard working owners who will look after all customers requests with the best Scottish breakfast EVER owners also have a huge knowledge of what to see and do in this area of Fife and on to Edinburgh this helped us plan all out trips with ease.
Would stay longer next time four days was not enough for this visit.

The place was in a great location, very close to the train station and not far from the city, Dunfermline Queen Margret Doesn't have too much around but overall it's a great place to be, staff were helpful and friendly, I had accidentally locked myself out one time and they were more than happy to give a hand, had a great time staying there the facilities were clean and easy to use, the rooms was spacious and very tidy.
No complaints about the hotel what's so ever, had a great stay and felt welcomed from the moment I checked in, it was a safe place too myself being a solo traveller sometimes places can feel a bit daunting but that wasn't present here at all.

Stayed here a year ago so knew what to expect. It’s a good value property with nicely appointed rooms. Good freshly cooked breakfast plus cereal, yogurts, fruit and juice options. Lovely friendly staff. Decent parking. Tea/ coffee making facilities in room. Rooms a decent size. The location although a little out of the city centre is walkable in about a half hour and is close to bus stops. It has easy access from the M90 and there’s a big supermarket along with a number of other stores 10 minutes walk away. It suited us as very close to where our family live. Would definitely always stay here on visits to our family.
The road leading down to the hotel is a bit rough with potholes. Could do with an extra wee shelf right by the washbasin ( there is a mirrored cupboard directly above the basin however) and in the shower ( not the most powerful but did the job)

This is an excellent little hotel literally a 5 minute walk to the train station which we took and had a very pleasant journey into Edinburgh for the fringe/tattoo. We always do our homework when looking for properties to stay as we travel by motorbike and like to know there will be secure parking which there is here, we were able to park right outside our hotel room and it was safe all weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable and we highly recommend the breakfast which we had both mornings of our stay, absolutely superb, the host is very conscientious and nothing is too much trouble
Nothing not to like , it’s superb

We were attending a concert at Murrayfield and was a lot cheaper staying in Dunfermline (about a 25 min drive) Great and quiet location and friendly staff. Didn’t use facilities as out most of the time. Easy to access hotel after hours. Fast wi-fi. Comfy and clean room. The entrance to the driveway to the hotel does creep up on you but as they say just look out for Arnold Clark’s and it’s opposite it and has a sign to the hotel. Asda and McDonald’s just round the corner.

Cute old building off a main road so quite peaceful. Close enough to Edinburgh airport do that we had an easy drive the next morning. Comfortable bed
Tiny bathroom with just a small bottle of shower gel per person (no shampoo or conditioner). A bit noisy with some other guests talking loudly in the hallway (not the hotel’s fault). A bit far from anywhere to eat although Brent (the manager) suggested the Harvester up the road (15 minute walk) which was fine.

Quiet location, beautiful building with lovely flowers, friendly owner and staff. Daily clean of the room, although we were there for two nights. Very comfy bed. Kettle, cups/spoons, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and biscuits in the room. The room and the shower were spotless clean. The breakfast was excellent. Freshly made, tasty and more than enough to keep you full.
The walls were thin, but I personally wouldn't consider it to visit again.

Regular room servicing, kind and caring staff. The person who ran the whole show showed attention to us but was not overbearing. The area has got good transport links which we could have used more. During our stay the person running the place gave recommendations. On leaving the person running the place gave additional ones. A photo is attached for what we did on exit. Sachin
There was not an aspect of any dislike for where we stayed.

Absolutely perfect for our needs - a stopover on the way down south. An unexpected gem - lovely clean room, modern and a little oasis down a little track off a busy road. Parking right outside. A walk to a couple of pubs or a short drive to a retail park. Great value at the price. Will definitely stay again!
Also drove past a few times. It is literally down what appears to be a country track directly opposite the car dealership so trust the Sat nav! The sign is hard to see and the road is hidden and unexpected in the urban environment.
