The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. Plenty of hot water. Access to additional, top-up milk and coffee/tea was easy enough. Nice enough reception from owner(s) and a sound briefing on how things were going to work while we were there. Felt like you were staying in a room in someone's home.

On arrival, we weren't sure if we had the correct property. It appeared that we were at the back door - which was in fact, the front gate/entrance. The distance from the main town restaurants and bars was a pain after a couple of long days walks. It's on a quiet and safe residential development about 10 minutes from the high street/quayside and it's uphill (and some downhills) walking back every evening after dinner. Shame that it doesn't offer a full cooked breakfast menu or dining facility as eating in your bedroom from a tray wouldn't be our normal preference.

Hosts were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculate, very good size, extremely comfortable bed and a great bathroom/shower. Breakfast on a tray in our room was excellent and off-road parking.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property. A few hilly bits walking to town, but nothing too bad.

The breakfast was very good and tasty. It was served on a tray after specifying our choices on arrival. Our room was in a pretty family home. Jane was very clear in her instructions and was helpful with providing information about Padstow. We were able to communicate by phone/text out of hours.

Nothing really. But some people may find walking up the hill a bit hard. We were happy to leave our shoes by the door as we do this at home anyway! There were some bugs flying into the bathroom from the open window. But this happens in a leafy neighbourhood :).

Very clean and comfortable room.Hosts were friendly and welcoming.The location was also a short walk to the town which we liked.

I think i should have enquired more about getting clean towels as i would have liked more .The bed was a bit soft for my liking but that's my personal opinion.

The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The room was clean, comfortable and modern, the shower was fantastic and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was delicious, and they had a wide range of food to offer.

Personal preference, we would have preferred to eat breakfast in a dining room or a table. Instead they served it to our room, which had low sofa like chairs and was very squished. But on the whole this was offset by very tasty food

The bedroom ensuite bright and airy with lovely countryside views, parking also available at the front of the property and situated at the bottom of Sarah,s lane lovely and very quiet. Breakfast was made everyday fresh and served on a tray for your room, I went for fruit Salad and my wife had cereal, I also had fresh orange juice, tea, milk and biscuits are also provided with milk and water in a mini fridge. The proprietor was very forth coming with local knowledge which we took advantage of and our location was a 10/15 minute walk into Padstow. There are a few gradients to navigate we are early 60s and managed them well but there is plenty of parking in the town should you wish to drive.

I cannot fault the property.

Lovely, friendly hosts. Comfy bed and powerful shower. Close to centre of padstow. Quiet location. Tasty breakfast which was served in our room which is a plus for us. Free parking.

Nothing we didn’t like! The bath towels were slightly on the small side but it was not an issue.

Our room, aspect, cleanliness and facilities were excellent. Andy and Jane were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed meeting them very much.

My only suggestion would be to include a toast option on the breakfast menu for those of us that should eat an egg every day!

Stunning room with en-suite! Everything had been thought of including a heat mat for your straighteners! I had just had a hip replacement and we spend our afternoons relaxing in our room, it was like home from home! Hosts were super, couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was just lovely, highly recommended the fruit salad!!

Breakfast worked well in the room . Facility to leave note for owner with any changes or queries . Fresh milk available at all times . Lovely large bedroom and bathroom . Easy walk down to Camel Trail .

Maybe offer of pastries at breakfast . Bit of an uphill walk on way back from Padstow but owners helpfully suggested a better route !
