Breakfast - breakfast incredible with cakes and also cooking options, everything delicious, good cakes. lunch - also the lunch option, they advertise as a "small lunch option" but actually the food is generous and really good, so after the huge breakfast you dont need actually have lunch and they offer cakes until 15:00, so you can lunch and have a afternoon cake dinner - The dinner you must reserve and pay but the price is awesome , the food was really good for the price so my suggestion is to reserve the dinner as soon as possible, spa / wellness - really good also , I only used the included in price options and they were more than enough, gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool, lounges. kids - they prepare the room for kids and also even without kids you cant hear them from other rooms, the spa and wellness areas you can stay without children. the hotel is family friendly and the region has some good options for indoor / outdoor playgrounds electric car - they have plenty charging places , and the price of kwh cheaper than the local public charging points. - at the time of my visit the public charging was 70cents / kwh, at the hotel it was 50 cents / kwh. so its really comfortable to stay in a hotel in the winter at hills with the option to charge the car. -- I charged at 11kw speed, but I believe the charging spot goes to 22kwh speed. so overnight is enough to charge the car 100%

The staff were incredibly friendly - upon arrival a welcome drink was offered at the bar along with a very warm welcome from the reception staff. Breakfast and lunch included, with a cake afterwards was a very nice touch. Dinner was wonderful with friendly staff and lovely local food. Spa facilities were super with an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool was a nice size with great views. Ample lounging places and a great choice of saunas. 100% recommend.

The room lacked a fridge, which would have been a nice addition given that on Sundays most of the shops are closed. The room also lacked a kettle, which again could have been useful. These are just small points which do not impact on how great our stay was!

We really enjoyed the generous wellness area with sauna, the massage jets and the two swimming pools, large enough to actually swim. The food and service in the restaurant is very good, we enjoyed dinner and also the breakfast buffet with a large offer and diversity. The rooms are spacious in size.

We would have a appreciated a drying facility for bathing towels and suits in the room. We had asked for a quiet room, but unfortunately our room was beside the lift, facing the street and on top of the whirl pool and under the restaurant - it was difficult to relax.

The hotel is conveniently situated just off the road and has plenty of garage and outside park spaces. The rooms are nice and quiet, a little basic, but clean and tidy! The facilities are good, the indoor pool was nice and the outdoor pool and sauna were both great!!! The traditional restaurant was also really nice, with good table service and we found it relaxing to eat in the hotel and not having to walk anywhere in the evening. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were excellent throughout. The breakfast was also nice, especially the omelettes :-) I think the hotel is generally well equipped and good value. I would stay again.

The village is very nice for a quick walk around, but beware that the hours for lunch and dinner are limited. We got caught between and there was nowhere to get any food, apart from the gas station. Not ideal!

Hotel Schlehdorn really, really exceeded our expectations. We decided on short notice to take a long weekend and ride our bikes around Schluchsee. Hotel Schlehdorn was in a great location to the lake and our stay was fantastic. From the moment we checked in, the family atmosphere of the staff was apparent. The restaurant was super, the room was large and comfortable, the pool and spa were beautiful, and the staff even took such great care of our dog. Speaking of staff, Tanja and Elena were super friendly and my wife and I enjoyed speaking with them. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Literally, nothing. We liked everything about Hotel Schlehdorn. We're coming back in the winter!

Very clean, nice room with view to the mountains, clean and well-kept wellness. Good breakfast, nice dinner. Very pleasant hotel.

Wifi in our room was very weak and regularly dropped out, considering that mobile signal was also very bad in the village to use mobile intenet. As for bed is too hard for me but that is matter of personal preference. For the rest everything was perfect!

Nice breakfast, kind staff, acceptable range of foods and drinks. Wellness area was enjoyable, kids had fun in the pool.

Overpriced compared to the location, and a bad experience when we were away a full day in the Badeparadies and the cleaning lady left our ground floor balcony door fully opened for the whole day. We arrived back at 10pm and it was very cold in the room and basically anyone could have robbed us if they wanted - luckily not happened.

Very clean hotel.

1) Indoor pool area (entire family area) was not as hot as expected. 2) There was a piano at the reception on which there was a note such as “Dear Guests, this piano is not a toy…..” I think it is better change this note, I was not comfortable reading that note.

Excellent hotel - very cozy / romantic and suitable for kids as well. Super view over the valley from our room. Staff super friendly. Breakfast very good, "mid-day snack" surprisingly diverse

We had a very nice room below the roof, but i doubt that in full summer you can manage to keep it cool :)

We had a very good holiday week in hotel Schlehdorn. Very good breakfast buffet and indoor and outdoor pools. The location is excellent and very Central in the Schwarzwald.

The Quality of the dinners in the restaurant was good, but can be improved. We think that the combination of tastes in some dishes was not at its best. Especially some of the sauses.
